Elizabeth R. LAMONT
Member of a pioneer Washington family died November 15 at home in Bellevue.
Born in Snohomish County in 1904, she attended W.S.U. and was a member of Chi Omega.
Her husband, Ralph H. Lamont died in 1983.
She is survived by her daughter, Kathleen B. Harris, grandsons Thomas E. Harris and Andrew V. Harris, Jr. and great-grandchildren Michael W. and Kathleen Marie Harris.
Remembrances may be made to Ryther Child Center or Evergreen Hospice.

Jean LEONG a.k.a. Lim Wah HOON
Born May 24, 1925 in Toison, China, Jean passed away November 13, 2001 at Swedish Hospital, Seattle, WA. She lived in Lewiston, Idaho, for 60 years where she reared her six children and worked in the family business, The Majestic Cafe'. She retired to Seattle to be closer to her children. Jean was preceded in death by her husband Wing Fee Leong. She is survived by three sons, Henry of Redondo Beach, CA., Dan (Gene) of Los Angeles, Johnny (Crystal) of Mercer Island and three daughters, Judy (Dan) Lew of Seattle, Mary Leong (Ken) of Raleigh, NC., and Janie Woon of Seattle; eight grandchildren, and one great-grandson. She is also survived by her sister Song Woon Lim Wu of Chicago, IL. and nephew Larry Lam of Vancouver, B.C. Funeral Services will be held at Butterworth Funeral Home, 520 W. Inese Anna Kapa LOMAS

Inese Anna Kapa Lomas was born in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada, on April 29, 1952. After a courageous 4-year battle with breast cancer, Inese left us November 19, 2001 at Swedish Hospital, Seattle, Washington. The beloved daughter of Valentina and Henry Kapa, who passed away before her, Inese is survived by Richard, her loving husband of 22 years, their child Richard, age 21 and Richard's children - Bradford, Martha, Laura, and James. Her sister Sylvia, nieces Pam and Noel, and great-niece Mackenzie. Seven grandchildren: Alexandra, Jaimie, and Tomie Vega, and Wilson, Jonathan, Richard Sears, and Benjamin Lomas who were her special joy. Inese graduated from Renton High School in 1970. She went on to a Spanish language degree from the University of Americas in Pueblo Mexico in 1974. She taught Spanish for three years at the University of Mexico and upon her return to the U.S. managed the Lomas Eye Care Practice from 1976 to the present time. She held numerous positions in the ophthalmic administrator associations. Along with her many special talents and abilities, she was a licensed pilot, extraordinary chef, downhill skier, travel agent and an incredible lady. Most of all, Inese brought to her family and to her many friends an abundance of wit, charm, happiness and a zest for living life to the fullest. Friends are welcome to join the family in a celebration of her life at the Lomas home on Sunday, December 16 at Bellevue, Washington, 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Inese Kapa Lomas memorial scholarship fund to benefit the academic sorority (SELGA), PO Box 486 - Edmonds, WA. 98020.

Born October 30, 1921 in Green Cove Springs, Florida. Moved to Seattle, WA. in 1944. Survived by husband William E. Lowe of 56 years; son William 'Billy'; daughter E. Marie Williams (Marie Williams); grandchildren Vincent Williams (Vernetta), Christopher Williams, Kimberly Dionne; Godchild Gena Kyles and a host of family and friends. Visitation is Thursday, Nov. 29 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Evergreen-Washelli Funeral Home, 11111 Aurora Ave. N., Seattle. Thelma G. LYBECK
Thelma Lybeck was born in Kansas and attended Emporia State University of Kansas. After she moved to Seattle, she was employed with the U.S. Air Force and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. Thelma is survived by her husband, Odvin and brothers, Herbert Glancy of Lincoln, NE and Walter Glancy of Dallas, TX, as well as several nieces and nephews. Geraldine O. MacADAM
Died November 21, 2001. Born January 24, 1910 in Great Falls, Montana to Jeremiah Joseph and Anne Eugenia McCormack O'Mahony. A graduate of Mt. Angela Ursuline Academy in Great Falls, MT, she received her BA and ML degrees from the University of Washington. She married
Vincent L. MacAdam, Jr. on July 19, 1943. She served on the staffs of the Dean of Women and Fisheries Research at the U of W, followed by two years of teaching. She retired from the Seattle Public Schools in 1975, after twelve years as school librarian. A long-time active member of Christ the King Parish, she served many years as Lector, and on the Parish Council, the Liturgy Committee and Chore Services. She was a member of the Literary & Travel Club, the Newman Club Alumni, Delta Zeta sorority and U of W Alumni. She was preceded in death by her parents, 4 brothers, 3 sisters, her daughter, Mary Vincente in 1952, and her husband in 1978. She is survived by her daughter, Anne Nealen; son-in-law, Curtis Nealen, of Sunnyside, WA; grandchildren, Peter and Sarah Nealen; sisters-in-law, Ruth Pike of Seattle, Diane MacAdam of Sacramento, CA and Phyllis O'Mahony of Boise, ID; and brother-in-law, Huber Grimm of Seattle. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended families in Ireland. Recitation of the Rosary will be Sunday, November 25th, at 7:00 p.m. at Hoffner Fisher & Harvey Chapel 508 North 36th St. - Seattle Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, November 26th, at 10 a.m. at the Church of Christ the King, N. 117th St. and Dayton Ave. N., Seattle. Elwin A. MAGILL, Jr.
Elwin A. MAGILL, Jr., 87, longtime Mercer Island resident died of cancer November 22, 2001, in Seattle. He was born March 24, 1914, in Ontario, California. He graduated from the University of Washington in 1939. He was a crew member and, also, a member of the Rifle Club where he received a letter in marksmanship. He, also, attended Stanford University. Mr. Magill served in the Army Corps of Engineers as a Major during WWII. He went ashore at Omaha Beach on D-Day in 1944. He was awarded a Purple Heart, Silver Star and Bronze Star medals. He married
Ruth H. McDonald in 1945 in Seattle. Mr. Magill worked for the U.S. Bureau of Mines as a mining engineer. After his retirement he started a consulting firm, where he worked until he became ill. Survivors include two sons, Elwin A. Magill, III of Juanita and Donald A. Magill of Kirkland; a daughter, Cassie Magill of Bremerton; and three grandchildren, Andy, Scott and Sam. She leaves her loving husband of 35 years, Drew; daughter, Michelle: son, Scott; three grandchildren; sister, Corinne; and parents Harry and Mary.
She is dearly loved and lives forever in our hearts.

Marion W. (Mac) McCLUNG
Was born March 25, 1915 in Kaw City, OK and passed away peacefully on November 17. 2001, in Des Moines, WA. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Aileen. Father of John (Paula) and Jean (Steve). Grandfather of Brian, Alison and Kasey. Great grandfather of Kayla. Mac re tired from Customer Support after 39 years with Boeing. Mac loved hunting, fishing, gardening and playing cards. He was especially fond of his great granddaughter who would always bring a smile to his face. Edith E. McFARLANE
Edith died November 19, 2001 at the age of 94. She was born in Tacoma, Washington but lived most of her life in Seattle. She worked at the telephone company after her husband Donald's death in 1954. She was an office supervisor in the printing department at the time of her retire ment. She maintained her independence living at home up to the time of her passing. Edith took pleasure in her family, was an avid card player, gardener and enjoyed working puzzles. Her sons Ronald and Dale; grandchildren Brett and Brock McFarlane, Lael Hughes, Laurie Armatas, Mike Felhosi and 11 great grandchildren, survive her. At her request there will be no memorial services. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to the National MS Society or the American Dia betes Association.
