She is survived by her husband Bob Stephens, Auburn; son Robert N. Stephens, Renton; daughters LeAnna Gunter, Enumclaw, Dianna Peterson, Renton, Arleen Seese, Auburn, Mary Crumpton, Auburn; sister Margaret Rowland, Renton; brothers Robert Baze, Seattle, Lewis Baze, Kent; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Memorial Services Friday, 2 p.m. at the Renton Eagles.

Jean W. STEPHENS
Jean W. Stephens, 74, of Mount Lake Terrace passed away November 16, 2001. She was born January 28, 1927 in Seattle, Washington and had lived in Mount Lake Terrace since 1976. Jean worked as a Registered Nurse at Stevens Hospital for 26 years. She was the charge nurse for the nursery. She leaves her three children, Andrea Rowe and her son-in-law, Greg Rowe; Dana Stephens of Mt. Lake Terrace, and Shaun Stephens and family of Everett; her sister, Shirley Taylor of Seattle; her four grandchildren, Danielle Rowe, Brianna Rowe, Kyle Stephens, and Bryton Stephens. She was preceded in death by her husband, David Stephens in 1976. Jean will be greatly missed by her family and friends. A Celebration of Jean's life will be held Sunday, November 25, 2001 at Rick & Kathy Bellin's home, 21115 - 50th Dr. S.E., Bothell from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Inurnment will be at Floral Hills cemetery, Lynnwood. Alma E. Stirret, 78, of Olympia, Washington, died Monday, November 19, 2001. She was born in Boise, Idaho and lived in Washington for over 75 years. She lived in Longview, Long Beach, Seattle, and Olympia. Alma served in the Coast Guard during World War II and married
Allen Stirret in 1947. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Allen Stirret of Olympia, WA.; a son, Jerry Stirret of Renton, WA.; three daughters, Carol Luker of Chesapeake, VA., Judy Lamphiear of McCleary, WA., and Janet Shaff of Sammamish, WA.; her sisters Lola Healea and Helen Layton of Longview, WA.; a brother Wayne Bacon of Acworth, GA.; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking contributions to be made to the: Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Eleanor.

Hanayo TAKASHIMA
passed away on November 10, 2001 at the age of 100 in Seattle.
She was born August 15, 1901 in Kumamoto, Japan.
She is survived by her sons, Mamoru and Hiroshi Takashima both of Seattle and Tsutomu Takashima of Saratoga, CA.; nine grandchildren, seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Yaoki and her son, Sadamu Takashima.
Mrs. Takashima was a member of the Seattle Buddhist Church, Seattle Buddhist Church Women's Federation and the Kumamoto Kenjin Kai.
Private family services were held.

Clayton John Tillema drove a '57 Chevy in the 1950's.
He kept that style - and love for family and friends - till falling to emphysema in Seattle, Nov. 16, 2001.
Born to Dutch immigrants John and Ada Tillema in Linton, N.D., Sept. 18, 1937, Clay graduated from high school in Lynden, WA., 1956.
After serving on Guam with the U.S. Navy, he studied business, and worked as manager of Commodity Rates for Burlington Northern Railroad in Seattle and St. Paul for 32 years.
Hobbies included cars, skiing, jazz, country music and bowling.
He liked hard work, fairness and fun.
In the 1990s, Tillema retired to the Greenlake area of Seattle with companion Nyla Wills.
A Cadillac took him from multiple bowling leagues full of friends to new adventures snowmobiling.
He is survived by companion Nyla Wills, sister Delores Tillema Jenkins of Lynnwood, and their thriving families.
Clay's ashes will travel to Cannon Beach, OR, on a motorcycle, while his humor and zest for life encourage our own.
