Adam Arman Goll
Adam Arman Goll of Renton died Jan. 28, 2001, in Renton. He was 76.
Born July 26, 1924, in Tuttle, N.D., he lived in the South County area for 50 years.
Mr. Goll was a cabinet maker and member of the Carpenters Union.
He was a member and elder of the Bethlehem Lutheran Church, and a member of Renton Eagles. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and reading westerns.
He is survived by his wife, Georgia (Weller) Goll of Renton; sons Dennis Goll of Renton, Tom Chandler of Kent and Chuck Chandler of Seattle; daughters Kathy Kennard of Snohomish and Sharon Chandler of Des Moines; brother Ted Goll of San Diego; sisters Katie Goll and Ida Hamilton, both of Ballard; six grandchildren; and two great-grandsons.
Visitation will be from noon to 5 p.m. Wednesday at Greenwood Funeral Home in Renton.
A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Renton.
Burial will be at Greenwood Memorial Park in Renton.
Michael Ray Berens
Michael Ray Berens of Kent died Jan. 26, 2001, in Seattle. He was 54.
Born Dec. 26, 1946, in Mitchell, S.D., he served in the Navy flying squadron in Hawaii from 1966 to 1969, and lived in the South County area for 46 years.
Mr. Berens retired in 1998, after 26 years of service, as an inventory controller at General Electric.
He enjoyed old cars and old music.
He was preceded in death by his mother, father and a sister.
He is survived by his brothers, Robert Berens and Dan Berens, both of Kent, Dean Berens of Calistoga, Calif., John Berens of Auburn, and Alan May of Colton, S.D.; and sister Dawn Gunnderson of Minneapolis, Minn.
Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday at Price-Helton Funeral Home in Auburn. A funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Price-Helton. Memorials may be made to Harborview Medical Center, Neurosurgery Unit.
Mary A. Green
Mary A. Green of Kent died Jan. 20, 2001, in Kent. She was 89.
Born June 26, 1911, in Sheridan, Mont., she lived in the South County area for 60 years.
She retired in 1975 as a customer service representative at Sears, Roebuck and Co. in Renton.
She was a member of the Tukwila Senior Center and enjoyed gardening, fishing and camping.
She is survived by her stepson, Gary R. Green of Enumclaw; and a grandson.
A private memorial service will be held Saturday. Inurnment will be at Washington Memorial.
Arrangements are by Bonney-Watson Memorial in SeaTac.
Paul `Mac' McCurdy
Paul 'Mac' McCurdy of Des Moines, died Jan. 25, 2001, at Wesley Health Center in Des Moines. He was 96.
Born Sept. 12, 1904, in Mena, Ark., he graduated in 1924 from Spirit Lake High School in Spirit Lake, Idaho, and attended Spokane University. He married
Grace Johnson on June 1, 1931. He lived in Auburn for 48 years and moved to Des Moines in 1989.
Mr. McCurdy retired as a principal in the Auburn School District, having worked at Auburn Junior High School, Auburn High School, and Terminal Park Elementary School. After retirement, he was headmaster at St. James School in Kent for several years. He served many years on the library board and education committees. He was a member of the United Methodist Church and a charter member and board member of the Auburn Golf course. Mr. McCurdy named Troy Field at Auburn High School. He enjoyed playing golf and reading.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 69 years, Grace (Johnson) McCurdy; and sons Paul McCurdy Jr., and Joel Bret McCurdy. He is survived by his son, Kent McCurdy of Keizer, Ore.; daughter Sandie Carr of Kent; 10 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
At his request, no service will be held. Inurnment was at Mountain View cemetery in Auburn. Memorials may be made to Kent Alliance Church Great Commission Fund.

Ryan Murray
Ryan Murray of Auburn died Jan. 26, 2001. He was 15 days old.
Born Jan. 11, 2001, in Seattle, he suffered from a congenital heart defect.
He is survived by his parents, Wayne and Tammy Murray of Auburn; brothers Tyler and Alexander of Auburn; sister Kristina of Auburn; grandparents Marilyn Murray of Auburn, Freida Roetter of Kent and Ronald Roetter of Centralia; and great-grandmother Mildred Barney of Portsmouth, N.H.
A funeral will be at 10 a.m. today at Price Helton Funeral Home. Interment
will be at Mountain View cemetery in Auburn.
Remembrances may be made to the American Heart Association.
America `Mary' Zanatta
America 'Mary' Zanatta of Renton died Jan. 25, 2001. She was 98.
Born Dec. 27, 1902, in Sao Paulo, Brazil, Mrs. Zanatta lived in Renton for 77 years.
She was a life-long member of St. Anthony Church in Renton and had a great love for her family and her garden.
A widow, Mrs. Zanatta is survived by her son, John Zanatta of Bellevue; daughters Wilma Dallosto and Madelene Zanatta, both of Renton; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
A funeral Mass will be 11 a.m. today at St. Anthony Church. Burial will be in Greenwood cemetery.

Martha Carol Williams
Martha Carol Williams of Idaho died Jan. 26, 2001, at the Twin Falls Clinic Hospital following a recent illness. She was 84.
Born Nov. 14, 1916, in Kalispell, Mont., to Sylvester and Jardine Murdock, Mrs. Williams was a small child when she moved with her family to Seattle.
She graduated from Ballard High School and married
Thomas Henry Williams on Dec. 24, 1936, in Everett.
Mrs. Williams was a homemaker who focused on raising her children in a warm and loving home. She was preceded in death by her husband on Jan. 29, 1971, and later moved to Idaho in 1988. In her later years, Mrs. Williams enjoyed her church family at the Church of God in Jerome, Idaho.
She is survived by two daughters, Nancy Thomason of Jerome and Patricia B. Courier of Mount Vernon; son Thomas C. Williams of Renton; brother Gerald 'Bud' Murdock of Republic; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by brothers Michael, Merle and Walter Murdock; and her sister, Grace.
A memorial service will be 3 p.m. Tuesday in Jerome. Inurnment will be in Washington.

Helen E. Taylor
Helen E. Taylor of Federal Way died Jan. 26, 2001. She was 71.
Born Feb. 9, 1929, on Vashon Island, Mrs. Taylor was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, and a caring and thoughtful sister and friend, her family said.
She specialized in gardening and pampering her family.
She is survived by her son, Rick Taylor of Renton; daughters Lori Oncina of Mercer Island and Tammi Taylor of Kent; brothers Bill and George Jenn, both of Kent, and Gene and Bob Jenn, both of Wyoming; sisters Fran Johnson of Twisp, Alice Mash of Portland and Charlotte Nielsen of Onalaska; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Marlatt Funeral Home in Kent.
Harris C. Hug
Harris C. Hug of Kent died Jan. 20, 2001 at his home. He was 85.
Born March 4, 1915, in Ames, Iowa, Mr. Hug graduated from Iowa State University, was an amateur radio operator and a member of the Bears Radio Club, call No. K7CHG.
He served many years as communications director for Sports Car Club of America's racing events. He enjoyed photography and belonged to the Professional Photographers of Washington.
He also was involved for many years with the Coast Guard Auxiliary and the Poverty Bay Power Squadron. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved hunting, fishing and woodworking. He was a member of St. Anthony Masonic Lodge in Renton and a member of Auburn Elks.
He is survived by his wife, Jane Hug of Kent; daughter, Barbara Hug of Seattle; and son, David Hug of Salem, Ore.
Nellie L. Jollymore
Nellie Louise Jollymore of Kent died Jan. 26, 2001. She was 90.
Born Aug. 2, 1910, in Sidney, Canada, she lived in Renton for 46 years.
She worked for 20 years at Seattle Sporting Goods in Renton and worked for Bill and John's Grocery in Maple Valley after retirement. She also volunteered at Salvation Army in Renton and was a member of St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Renton.
She liked homemaking, canning and Bible study, her family said.
She is survived by her sons William Jollymore of Olympia and John Jollymore of Vancouver; daughters Jeanne Alexander of Puyallup and Jayne Conwell of Kent; six grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be at noon Tuesday at Greenwood Funeral Home. Visitation will be from noon-5 p.m. tomorrow and from 9 a.m. to noon Tuesday.
