Vina E. Ross
Vina E. Ross of Shoreline, formerly of the Eastside, died Sept. 9, 2001, at her home. She was 95.
Mrs. Ross was born Nov. 6, 1906, in Seattle, grew up in Redmond and Kirkland and graduated from high school on the Eastside. She was a beautician in Seattle, then worked as an elevator operator in the Roosevelt Hotel. She lived in Bellevue from 1982 to 1997.
Mrs. Ross enjoyed animals and gave generously to the Humane Society. She was always available to help others, her family said.
Survivors include her nephew, J. Stuart Sherbeck, of Issaquah; and her niece, Therese Sherbeck, of Vancouver, Wash.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Green's Bellevue Funeral Home.
Margaret Katherine 'Dot' Rinehardt
Margaret Katherine 'Dot' Rinehardt died Sept. 8, 2001, in Burien. She was 82.
Born April 1, 1919, in Fargo, N.D., Mrs. Rinehardt lived in South Seattle and Kent for 47 years. She married
Ward Clifford Rinehardt on Feb. 2, 1939. Mrs. Rinehardt was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ward Clifford Rinehardt; and son, Thomas Michael Rinehardt. Mrs. Rinehardt is survived by sons, Gary Rinehardt of Kent, Dennis Rinehardt of Puyallup, and Roger Rinehardt of Federal Way; daughter, Joyce Johnson of Tukwila; 12 grandchildren; six great grandchildren; four step great-grandchildren; and one step great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. today at Price-Helton Funeral Home in Auburn.
A funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Price-Helton Funeral home, followed by a graveside service at Mountain View cemetery in Auburn.
Jo Ann Moorhead
Jo Ann Moorhead of Auburn died Sept. 5, 2001, in Oklahoma City, Okla. She was 44.
Born Jan. 20, 1957, in Bowling Green, Ohio, Ms. Moorhead lived in Auburn for about 15 years. She served eight years with the U.S. Navy and was employed with the Federal Aviation Administration. She was a member of the Church of Christ in North Baltimore, Ohio.
Ms. Moorhead was preceded in death by her father, Samuel G. Moorhead; and brothers, Michael Moorhead and Jerald Moorhead. She is survived by her mother, Dorothy M. Hummell of Findlay, Ohio; and brother John Moorhead of Torrance, Calif.
A funeral was held Sept. 10 in North Baltimore, Ohio. Burial was at Ten Mile cemetery in Portage Township, Ohio. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 110 S. Main St., Findlay, Ohio.
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Lake Sawyer Christian Church, 28525 216 Ave. S.E. in Covington.
Edwin Leonard Beckley
Edwin Leonard Beckley died Sept. 6, 2001, in Renton. He was 83.
Born Oct. 20, 1917, in Lorain, Ohio, Mr. Beckley lived in the Renton area for 46 years. He was married
for 51 years to Barbara Oliver. Mr. Beckley was a machinist at Pac-Car and Boeing Co. He was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses since 1942 and the Machinist's Union.
Mr. Beckley is survived by his wife, Barbara J. Beckley of Renton; sons, Mark Beckley of Renton, and Gene T. Beckley of Toppenish; daughter, Tammera R. Hood of Kirkland; and three grandchildren.
A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Renton Highlands Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 11205 138th S.E. in Renton.
Memorials can be made to Worldwide Work in care of Watch Tower Society.

William Eugene Tarver Jr.
William Eugene Tarver Jr. of Kent died Sept. 5, 2001, at Veterans Hospital in Seattle. He was 75.
Born March 14, 1926, in Francis, Okla., Mr. Tarver served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and was awarded medals for the Asiatic Pacific Area, American Area and Philippine Liberation, and the World War II Victory Medal.
Mr. Tarver moved to Ventura, Calif., and Seattle before settling in Kent, and worked as a warehouse man for Chem Central Solvents until his retirement in 1988.
He enjoyed playing bingo, bowling and writing poems.
Mr. Tarver's wife, Dorothy Tarver, died in 1998; his son, Franklin Tarver, died in 1980. He is survived by three sons, Billy Tarver of Longbranch, Wash., Robert Tarver of Kent and Ronald Tarver of Gig Harbor; daughters Cheryl Melchior of Renton and Brenda Bolton of Lynnwood; nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
No service will be held.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Loren I. Williams
Loren Ivan Williams of Auburn died Sept. 7, 2001, at Lozier Ranch in Auburn. He was 24.
Born Oct. 15, 1976, in Auburn, Mr. Williams lived in Alaska with his father and stepmother for most of his life and returned home to Auburn about a year and a half ago.
He worked as a laborer, and was a member of the Alaska Native Brotherhood Camp No. 9 and the Klawock I.R.A.
Mr. Williams was the last-born son of the last-born son of the Williams family of the Tlinget Nation of the Raven Moitey of the Mink House and the last-born son of a Muckleshoot native of the Muckleshoot Nation.
He enjoyed hugging, fishing, hunting, hiking in the mountains, boating and island hopping.
Mr. Williams is survived by his son, Edward Steven Guanzon Williams of Alaska; brothers Ivan Williams of Alaska, Robert Christensen of Idaho and Joey Jansen, Theodore Jansen, Charles Williams and Henry Osoteo, all of Auburn; sisters Heather Williams of Alaska, Monica Jansen of Auburn and StephieLin Courville of Auburn; parents Renee Rosa Lozier-Rojas of Auburn and Ivan Williams of Klawock, Alaska; stepparents Fortunato Rojas and Rena Williams; and grandparents Elma and Frank Lozier of Auburn.
A vigil will be held at 4 p.m. today at the Muckleshoot Shaker Church in Auburn. A service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the White Lake cemetery in Auburn, with a graveside service afterward.

Dorothy E. Attaway
Dorothy Ella Attaway of Auburn died Sept. 7, 2001, in Auburn.
Born Nov. 9, 1908, in Centralia, Mrs. Attaway lived in Auburn all her life.
She worked at Rohr Industries as an executive secretary, and was a member of the Valley Artists and Business and Professional Women. She loved to paint, read and work in the garden.
Mrs. Attaway is survived by her husband, Nolan Attaway of Auburn; sister Viola Grinnell of Olympia and numerous nieces.
No service will be held.

Roberta Ann 'Bobbie' Lee
Roberta Ann 'Bobbie' Lee of Kent died Sept. 5, 2001. She was 58.
Born April 21, 1943, in St. Paul, Minn., she graduated from Kent Meridian High School in 1961 and then Highline Community College.
She was a human resources manager at Ford Graphics, former president and owner of Superior Reprographics in Seattle and former president of Northwest Reprographics Association.
She enjoyed traveling and cross stitching.
She is survived by her husband, Frank Lee Sr.; son John Dunham of Ravensdale; daughter Susan Gordner of Kent; mother Lillian Lorang of Kansas; brothers James P. Lorang of California, Steven P. Lorang of California and Gene and Bruce Lorang, both of Idaho; and eight grandchildren.
A memorial service will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Yahn & Son Funeral Home in Auburn.

John M. Rochelle
John Michael Rochelle of Kent died Sept. 6, 2001. He was 56.
Born May 16, 1945, in England, he lived in South County for 50 years.
He served for four years in the U.S. Army and was employed as a steelworker at Seattle Steel for 23 years.
He was preceded in death by his father, John Malcolm Rochelle.
He is survived by his wife, Kit Rochelle of Kent; sons Chad Rochelle of Kent and Neil Rochelle of Puyallup; daughter Lindsay Rochelle of Kent; grandson Clint Rochelle of Kent; mother Joan E. Brown Rochelle of Seattle; brothers Gary Rochelle of Auburn, Mike Rochelle of Seattle, Jan Rochelle of Auburn and Rick Rochelle of Federal Way; and sister Elaine Lee of Federal Way.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday at Marlatts Funeral Home. A memorial service will be at 12:30 p.m. Thursday at Marlatt's Funeral Home. Burial will be at Tahoma National cemetery.
Keith L. Jordan
Keith Leroy Jordan of Auburn died Sept. 2, 2001. He was 7.
He was born Dec. 3, 1993, in Seattle.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Terrell Thornton, in 1994.
He is survived by his mother, Lovelle Newton; father Maurice L. Jordan; brothers Maurice Jordan and Demetrius Thornton; sisters Tammy Newton, Alysia Newton and Alexis Thornton; grandparents Miller C. Jordan, Zina Jordan, Mary Jordan, Rachael Potts and Lucille Taylor.
Visitation will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Family of Grace Lutheran Church with a memorial service to follow.
Louise V. Henry
Louise Victoria Henry of Bellevue died Sept. 7, 2001. She was 85.
Born July 24, 1916, in Seattle, she lived in Renton for approximately 50 years.
She graduated from Cleveland High School in Seattle in 1934. She was a homemaker who enjoyed flower gardening and music. She played the accordion, piano and organ.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Ernest Henry, in 1984.
She is survived by her daughter, Cheryl A. Henry of Renton; and brother John Shank of Seattle.
