He lived in Seattle for over 50 years before moving to Skagit County five years ago.
He is survived by his daughters, Mary Ellen Dorsey and Tina Aasen; son, Roger; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Graveside Service Saturday, December 16, 2000, 1 p.m. at Washelli cemetery, in Seattle.

She is survived by her son, Scott Adams; daughter, Sandra Leffel; four beautiful grandchildren; and her sister, Katherine Chastek.

Robert B. ALLISON
Born October 7, 1918 in Parsons, Kansas. Died December 9, 2000 of complications from a stroke. A graduate of Washburn University, To peka, Kansas and University of Washington Law School. Bob was a Lieutenant Commander in the United States Navy during World War II. Stationed in Reykjavik, Iceland, Bob served on the USS Mallory protecting the merchant fleet in the North Atlantic. Bob practiced law in Seattle from 1946 until his retirement. He was a member of Phi Delta Theta fraternity, Washington State Bar Association, and Overlake Gold and Country Club. Beloved husband of Shirley Greaves Allison who met him on the U of W campus in 1942. Also survived by son, Robert Greaves Allison (Debbie); daughters, Sheila Chidsey (Robert) and Mary Anne Rast (Mark). preceded in death by daughter, Nancy Jean Allison and brother, Henry T. Allison. Also survived by brother, Joseph F. Allison of Erie, PA. and sister, Kitty Daley of Parsons, KS. "Bampa" was much loved by his seven grandchildren, Andrea (Wyman) Chidsey Yip, Patrick and Carrie Chidsey, Greg and Stephen Rast, and Lisa and Kristen Allison. Funeral Mass will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, December 14 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Bellevue. Private family inurnment at Sunset Hills Memorial Park. Marie "Bongie" ANDERSON
Survived by her husband of 54 years, Jesse and her best friend, "Buddy", children Ginger, Wayne and Joan; 14 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren plus Kayla Marie, soon to be born.
Also survived by two sisters, one brother. Bongie is now with the Lord Jesus.
Her greatest joy was to share Jesus with all.

Maycel A. ARINO age 77, of Seattle, passed away, December 7, 2000. She was born on February 11, 1923 in Tilford, Kentucky. She came to the Seattle area in the mid-1940s and had worked in retail sales as a clerk. Mrs. Arino is survived by her daughters, Sandra Blue, of Kent, Gloria Arino-Haikel & husband George, of Minnesota; grandchildren, Lisa Beltran-Walker & husband Carl, Sherine B. Woodey & husband David, Megan Blue, Allison Blue, Dominique Haikel, Christiane Haikel; and five great-grandchildren. Maycel was preceded in death by her husband, John Arino in 1979 and daughter Lillian Arino in 1945. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, December 13, 2000, 12 noon at Evergreen-Washelli Funeral Home, 11111 Aurora Ave. N. - Seattle. Interment

John Hayward ARNOLD
December 2, 2000, John passed peacefully at his West Seattle home with Loretta his wife of 54 wonderful years by his side. John was born February 18, 1913, in Portland Oregon. As a small child he moved to Seattle with his parents. John embraced many with his kind words and his loving and caring heart. If anyone had met John they most certainly would have heard the words 'Keep smiling'. John will remain in the Hearts of his wife Loretta, children; Dick, Lonnie, Ed, Joel, Jim, John, Larry, Myrna and Laura, 14 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and all of his relatives and friends. In Loving Memory James Allen Bakoles, 57, born July 24, 1943 in Portland, Oregon, passed away Monday, December 11, 2000 at his home in Bothell. He is survived by his mother, Mary Bakoles; son, James A. Bakoles; daughters, Lisa and her husband Jon Tuck, and Nikole Bakoles; and two granddaughters, Sara Tuck and Chloe Sidjon. He is preceded in death by his father, James G. Bakoles. Services are being arranged through Purdy and Walters at Floral Hills. Born March 17, 1928, died Dec. 10, 2000. Don was born in Fargo, North Dakota, to Ed and Rhoda Bartholomaus. He served in the Navy for two years and then graduated from Lewis and Clark College in Portland, Ore. After moving to the Edmonds area, Don worked as ad director for both the Everett Herald for nearly 20 years, and the Journal American in Bellevue. Don is survived by his wife of 48 years, Helen; daughter Anne and husband Rick Roff of Puyallup; son Scott and wife Sheri of Mukilteo; his five grandchildren, Erick, Lindsey and Allison Roff, and Kelli and Nicole Bartholomaus; two brothers, Wes and wife Mary of Portland, Ore., and Chuck of Corvallis, Ore., and sister Diane and husband Joe Pinz of Portland; and numerous nieces and nephews.
