Norman B. Boyd
Norman Bruce Boyd of Kent died Oct. 25, 2001, in Renton. He was 58.
Born Feb. 12, 1943, in Vancouver, British Columbia, Mr. Boyd married
Judy Neupert on Oct. 15, 1966, in Seattle. He served in the Army and lived in Kent for 15 years.
Mr. Boyd was a dental lab technician at Harrison Dental Labs for 35 years. He enjoyed boating, fishing and being outdoors.
Mr. Boyd was preceded in death by his parents, Norman and Gwladys Boyd. He is survived by his wife, Judy Boyd of Kent; daughters Kelly Portmann of Auburn and Erin Boyd of Seattle; brother Ken Boyd of Kirkland; and two grandchildren.
A celebration of his life will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Kent Covenant Church.
Memorials can be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association, Children's Hospital and Medical Center in Seattle, or to the American Cancer Society.

Michael G. Bosch
Michael G. Bosch of Auburn died Oct. 30, 2001, in Tacoma. He was 84.
Born Oct. 13, 1917, in Hague, N.D., he lived in Auburn since 1959.
Mr. Bosch was employed as a mechanic for The Boeing Co., retiring in 1979 after 26 years of service. He was a member and past president of the Council of Mother Joseph for the St. Vincent De Paul Society, a member of Holy Family Catholic Church of Auburn and an usher since 1955.
He also was a member of the Auburn Eagles Lodge and a member and past Grand Knight of the Auburn Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed fishing, bowling and dancing.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Rachel Bosch of Auburn; son Jim Bosch of Auburn; daughters Donna Suddeth of Washington, D.C., Patricia Mede of Buckley, and Margaret Carnahan of Orting; sisters Frances New of Denver and PhillippinaHagle of Bismarck, N.D.; and eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. today; from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, and from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday at Price-Helton Funeral Home in Auburn. A vigil service will be held at 6 p.m. Sunday at Price-Helton Funeral Chapel.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday at Holy Family Catholic Church in Auburn. Burial will follow at Mountain View cemetery in Auburn.
Delores Helen Williams
Delores Helen Williams of Auburn died Nov. 1, 2001, in Auburn. She was 77.
Born Jan. 22, 1924, in Hayfield, Minn., she lived in Auburn for 23 years.
She was a self-employed seamstress and enjoyed reading.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Victor J. Dahle; and sister Marie Wellman. She is survived by her son, Michael Ray Williams of Auburn; daughters Linda Westendorf of Auburn and Sue Williams of Kent; brother Curt Dahle of Kent; and three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 1-8 p.m. Monday at Price-Helton Funeral Home in Auburn.
A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Messiah Lutheran Church in Auburn, followed by burial at Hillcrest cemetery in Kent.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Mary B. Delaurenti
Longtime Renton resident Mary Beth Delaurenti of Ellensburg died Oct. 28, 2001, at Royal Vista Care Center in Ellensburg. She was 82.
Born Feb. 8, 1919, in Yakima, Mrs. Delaurenti lived in Renton for more than 50 years. She married
Pete B. Delaurenti on Sept. 25, 1937.
She enjoyed traveling, horseback riding and reading, especially Western novels by Zane Gray. Mrs. Delaurenti worked as a nurse's aid at Renton Convalescent Center for many years.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Pete Delaurenti. Mrs. Delaurenti is survived by her sons, Mike Delaurenti of Issaquah and Peter Delaurenti of Seattle; daughter Ginger Jensen of Ellensburg; and six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
A private family service will be held.
Arrangements for cremation at Terrace Heights Crematory, Yakima, are under the direction of Affordable Funeral Care of Ellensburg.
Lauren Michelle Griffith
Lauren Michelle Griffith of Renton died Oct. 31, 2001, in Seattle. She was 6.
Born April 3, 1995, in Renton, she was a lifetime resident of Renton.
She was a first-grade student at Shadow Lake Elementary School in Maple Valley and was a member of Girl Scout Troop 2246 in Maple Valley and the Maple Valley Soccer Club. She played baseball and enjoyed drawing, swimming, camping, animals, flower arranging, bike riding and playing on the monkey bars.
She is survived by her parents, Mark and Lisa Griffith of Renton; brothers Kristopher Griffith and William Griffith, both of Renton; and grandparents Don and Carol Griffith of Klamath Falls, Ore., Jim and Vlasta Adams of Saratoga, Calif., and Larry and Lynn Haynes of Bothell.
A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. today at Maple Valley Presbyterian Church.
Memorials may be made to Children's Hospital or Totem Girl Scout Council.

Robert E. Carson
Robert Edwin Carson of Kent died Oct. 31, 2001, in Kent. He was 68.
Born Dec. 19, 1932, in Rock Springs, Wyo., Mr. Carson attended schools in Bremerton and graduated from the University of Washington Dental School. He served in the Army and married
Salana Joy Frankman on April 4, 1941, in Salt Lake City. Mr. Carson lived in the South County area since 1962.
He opened a dental practice in Auburn in 1963, retiring Oct. 15, 2001, and was a member of the American Dental Association and Seattle-King County Dental Society. Mr. Carson was a bishop and a stake president in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
He was preceded in death by his son, Robert Edwin Carson Jr. Mr. Carson is survived by his wife, Joy Carson of Kent; sons Michael J. Carson of Bellevue and Marc D. Carson of Provo, Utah; daughters Caryn J. Teuscher of Vancouver, Wash., Kristina L. Palmer of Redmond, Ore., and Celinda J. Johnson and Michelle M. Siefkes, both of SeaTac; and sister Marva Connelly of Bremerton.
Visitation will be held from 1-5 p.m. today and Sunday at Price-Helton Funeral Home in Auburn. A funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Auburn. Burial will be at 9 a.m. Tuesday at Tahoma National cemetery in Maple Valley.

Marilyn A. Wambach
Marilyn Ann Wambach of Renton died Nov. 1, 2001, in Renton. She was 64.
Born July 18, 1937, in Seattle, Mrs. Wambach was a lifelong resident of Renton.
She worked in management for a plastic manufacturing company and enjoyed crocheting, woodworking, arts and crafts.
Mrs. Wambach is survived by her husband, James R. Wambach of Renton; son Michael Wambach of Renton; daughter Lynda Hubacek of Auburn; and five grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at Greenwood Memorial Park in Renton.

John M. Dittus
John Murray Dittus died Oct. 31, 2001, at his home in Auburn. He was 80.
Born June 16, 1921, in Conde, S.D., Mr. Dittus served in the Coast Guard as a sonar man during World War II. He married
Beverly Mae Butzow in December 1943 and lived in the South County area for 49 years.
Mr. Dittus retired in 1983 as a machinist at The Boeing Co. He was a handyman and enjoyed fishing.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Nancy Kamm, in 1998. Mr. Dittus is survived by his wife, Beverly Dittus of Auburn; son Daniel Kamm of Bellevue; daughters, Jane Fairchild of Camas and Judith Rackley of Renton; brother Warren Dittus of Conde, S.D.; sister, Eleanor MacMillan of Cheyenne, Wyo.; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 1-4 p.m. Sunday at Yahn & Son Funeral Home in Auburn. A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Messiah Lutheran Church in Auburn. Burial will be at Tahoma National cemetery in Maple Valley.

James L. Pauley
James Lee Pauley of Renton died Oct. 29, 2001, in Renton. He was 52.
Born April 26, 1949, in Chesapeake, W.Va., Mr. Pauley served in the Marine Corps from 1967 to 1969. He lived in Renton for 27 years.
Mr. Pauley worked at The Boeing Co. as a mechanic for 30 years. He was a member of Rejoice Fellowship Church and was a Little League baseball coach. He enjoyed karaoke.
He was preceded in death by his father, Clarence Pauley in 1969; mother Ellen Marie Fleck Pauley in 1981; and sister Juanita Pauley Graham, in 1978. Mr. Pauley is survived by his son, James E. Pauley of Renton; daughter Shannon M. Haniuk of Las Vegas; brothers Daniel L. Pauley of Oldtown, Md., Clarence R. Pauley of Greenville, S.C., Leslie S. Pauley of Auburn, and George E. Pauley of Renton; sisters Louise Smith of Strongsville, Ohio, Ramona Morgan of Madison, W.Va., Sharon Songer of Charleston, W.Va., Karen Dunfee of Ashford, W.Va., and Nancy E. Hamrick and Pamela Pauley, both of Alum Creek, W.Va.; and three grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Faull-Stokes Funeral Chapel in Renton, followed by a funeral at noon Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Tahoma National cemetery in Maple Valley.
