Nikole M. Cloutier-Warner
Nikole Marie Cloutier-Warner died after a lifetime battle with asthma Oct. 9, 2002, at her home in Black Diamond. She was 30.
Born April 18, 1972, in Seattle, she graduated from Enumclaw High School in 1990 and married
Paul Warner in 1993 in Enumclaw. She lived in Black Diamond since the age of 2.
She worked as a bartender. She enjoyed gardening and camping.
She is survived by her husband, Paul Warner of Auburn; son Nathan Warner of Auburn; parents Judy and Leonard Thorsett of Black Diamond and Jerry and Carolyn Cloutier of SeaTac; brothers Scott Cloutier of Unadilla, Ga., Jason Thorsett of Henderson, Nev., and Jeff Cloutier of SeaTac; sister Christine Cloutier of SeaTac; and grandparents, Phyllis Cloutier of Federal Way, Joe and Marie Webby of Black Diamond and Ethel Thorsett of Kent.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Weeks' Enumclaw Funeral Home.

Margaret B. Lindberg
Margaret B. Lindberg of Renton died of cancer Oct. 8, 2002, in Bellevue. She was 79.
Born Jan. 15, 1923, in Mapton, she lived in Renton for 10 years.
A homemaker, Mrs. Lindberg was a charter member of Beacon Hill Presbyterian Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 33 years, Clifford Lindberg in 1982. She is survived by her sons, Charles Lindberg of Newcastle and Gordy Lindberg of Renton; daughter Gloria Redin of Gold Bar; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from noon to 8 p.m. Monday at Bonney-Watson Washington Memorial in SeaTac. A funeral will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Bonney-Watson Washington Memorial. Burial will be at Bonney-Watson Washington Memorial Park.

Vivian M. Golden
Vivian Mary Golden of Federal Way died Oct. 5, 2002, in Federal Way. She was 87.
Born Jan. 20, 1915, in Seattle, she married
Robert C. Golden Aug. 17, 1940, in Seattle and lived in the South County area for 22 years.
Mrs. Golden worked as a dental assistant. She was a member of the Auburn Church of the Nazarene.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Richard Day and George Day; and sister Dorothy O'Neill. She is survived by her husband, Robert Golden; daughter Roberta Mary Holland; four grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held Wednesday, Oct. 9, at the Auburn Church of the Nazarene.
Memorials may be made to the Nazarene Mission International.

Calvy V. Preston
Former South County resident Calvy Victor Preston of Yelm died Oct. 5, 2002. He was 75.
Born July 19, 1927, in Faulton, N.D., he served in the Merchant Marine and the Navy from 1944 to 1953. He lived in Des Moines in the 1960s and 1970s.
He worked at Wal-Mart in the sales department. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Federal Way and the Puyallup Elks Lodge. He was a volunteer with the Tacoma Salvation Army, the Parent Teacher Association, the Boy Scouts of America and Little League. He was active in many food drives and holiday distributions.
He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Laurel Okert Preston; sons Randy Okert, Roylynn Ware, Thor Ware and Zane Ware; daughters Lucinda Larson, Michele Skinner and Teresa Fleming; sister Verna Quickel; 11 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A funeral was held Thursday, Oct. 10, at Mountain View Garden Chapel in Tacoma.
Memorials may be made to a favorite charity or the Yelm Fire Department.

Effie E. Simpson
Effie E. Simpson of Seattle died Oct. 8, 2002. She was 80.
Born Jan. 20, 1922, in Pasco, she lived in the Skyway/Renton area for 53 years.
A homemaker, she worked as a bookkeeper at GMAC and various Buick dealers, retiring in 1960. She enjoyed gardening, fishing and camping.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John T. Simpson. She is survived by her son, Daryl Yager of San Antonio, Texas; daughter Linda Jackson of Renton; sisters Marie Bell of Seattle and Marjorie Cochran of Renton; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held Friday, Oct. 11 at Bonney Watson Memorial Park in SeaTac.
Memorials may be made to the donor's charity of choice.

Michael D. Harris
Micahel Doyle Harris died Oct. 3, 2002, at his home in Federal Way. He was 49.
Born Jan. 18, 1953, in Anchorage, Alaska, he graduated from Chugiak High School in 1971 and married
Janine Foley on Jan. 27, 1982. He lived in the South County area for 24 years.
Mr. Harris worked as a retail clerk at QFC. He enjoyed sports, classic cars, music, the ocean, home improvements and his cats.
He is survived by his wife, Janine Harris of Federal Way; sons James Harris of Federal Way and Michael Smalley of Anchorage, Alaska; daughters Michelle Harris of Federal Way and Lisa Powers of Anchorage, Alaska; mother Mildred Harris of Renton; brother Donald Harris of Renton; sister Kathryn Shelton of Wasilla, Alaska; and four grandchildren.
No services are scheduled.

Patricia Diana (Bush) Santos
Patricia Diana (Bush) Santos of Kent died Oct. 7, 2002. She was 45.
She was born May 11, 1957, in Norman, Okla. A veteran of the U.S. Air Force, she had been a Kent resident for two years and had worked as a computer technician for the Washington State Republican Party.
She enjoyed reading, skiing and cooking.
She was preceded in death by her father, Oddis Wayne Bush Sr., and two brothers, Oddis Wayne Bush Jr. and Michael Bush.
She is survived by a son, Steven Christopher Santos of Puyallup; her mother, Diana Elizabeth Credle of San Diego, Calif.; her grandmother, Ethel Noel of Lindsey, Calif.; three brothers, Robert Credle of Auburn, Steven Credle of San Diego and Edward Bush of Lindsey, Calif.; and two sisters, Karen Roberts of Tulare, Calif. and Rebecca Thomas of Nashville, Tenn.
A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. today at Price-Helton Funeral Home in Auburn.

Brian Warren
Brian Warren of Renton died Oct. 5, 2002, at Valley Medical Center in Renton. He was 41.
Mr. Warren was born Dec. 26, 1960, in Renton. He had been employed with The Boeing Co. for 22 years.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting and playing dice.
He is survived by his father, Vergil Warren of Sequim; a brother, Bruce Warren of Renton; and a sister, Karen Warren of Seattle.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. today at St. Matthew's Lutheran Church in Renton.

Cecil K. Coffield
Renton resident Cecil Kermit Coffield died Oct. 7, 2002 in Renton. He was 78.
Born March 13, 1924, in Marshall County, W. Va., he married
Evelyn Wilson 56 years ago.
Mr. Coffield worked as a maintenance foreman for Fostoria Glass Co. for 37 years and was a member of the First Christian Church of Moundsville, W.Va.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, John and Kenneth Coffield.
Mr. Coffield is survived by his wife, Evelyn Coffield of Renton; son Bill Coffield of Newark, Del.; daughters Rebecca Shutler of Renton, Beverly Burns of Franklin, Tenn. and Brenda Zahnow of Moundsville, W. Va.; brothers Dale Coffield of Moundsville, W. Va., Merritt Coffield of Oxford, Md., Dexter Coffield of Wheeling, W. Va. and Charlie Coffield of Glendale, W. Va.; sister Peg Gribben of Springboro, Ohio; and five grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. today at Greenwood Funeral Home. A service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with burial at Greenwood Memorial Park.

Thomas J. DiMarco Jr.
Thomas J. DiMarco Jr. of Kent died Oct. 7, 2002, in Normandy Park. He was 50.
Born June 16, 1952, in Seattle, he lived his entire life in Kent.
Mr. DiMarco was a consultant for Aero Space Co.
He was in the Naval Air Reserve. He won numerous awards, including the Blue Sky Award for outstanding contributions to ATA E-business, the Laureate Award for Computer World, and the Smithsonian Award for Innovation. He enjoyed flying his V-Tail Bonanza.
His is survived by his wife, Wanette J. Cahoon DiMarco; daughter Sylvia DiMarco; mother Alice DeMarco; brothers Timothy DiMarco, Mathew DiMarco and Joseph DiMarco; and sisters Mary DiMarco and Patty Murphy.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. today at St. Francis of Assisi in Burien. Burial will follow at Gethsemane Catholic cemetery.
