Linda M. Kelley
Linda M. Kelley of Kent died Dec. 3, 2002, in Auburn. She was 66.
Born Feb. 6, 1936, in Bremerton, she married
Gerald R. Kelley on June 25, 1955, in Bremerton.
A housewife, Mrs. Kelley enjoyed camping and going to the beach.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Susan Kelley, in 1976; brother, William Baxter; and sister, Patricia Madison. She is survived by her husband, Gerald Kelley of Kent; sons, Tim Kelley of Buckley and Don Kelley of Maple Valley; and five grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at Marlatt Chapel in Kent. Inurnment will be at Tahoma National cemetery in Maple Valley.
Memorials may be made to Children's Orthopedic Hospital.

Camille Marie Ellis
Camille Marie Ellis of Bryn Mawr died Nov. 27, 2002, in Seattle. She was 89.
Born Jan. 6, 1913, in Roslyn, she graduated from Franklin High School in 1931 and married
Hubert Ellis on Dec. 24, 1941, in Seattle. She lived in the Bryn Mawr area for 44 years.
A homemaker, Mrs. Ellis was a charter member of Ark Assembly of Rainbow, and a member of Wildwood Lane Orthopedic Guild, and Rainier Beach Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed gardening, sewing and maintaining an immaculate home.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert Ellis; brothers George Wake, James Wake and Richard Wake; and sisters Ellen Wake, Isobel Brennen, Florence Carlson and Alyce Marsh. She is survived by her daughter, Sarah ``Sally'' Carter of Renton; and a grandchild.
A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. today at Rainier Beach Presbyterian Church in Seattle. Private burial will be at Washington Memorial Park.
Memorials may be made to Children's Hospital or to Rainier Beach Presbyterian Church.

Margaret L. Werner
Margaret ``Peggy'' Louise Werner of Renton died Nov. 30, 2002, in Renton. She was 87.
Born May 16, 1915, in South Zanesville, Ohio, she lived in Renton for 31 years.
Mrs. Werner was the owner and operator of WHY Grocery in Renton for a number of years. She was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Renton. She enjoyed managing the Renton Senior Citizen coffee bar every Wednesday morning, tending to her rose garden with 141 roses and traveling.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Werner in 1990. She is survived by her brother, Howard Smith of Hesperia, Calif.; and sister Loretta Ralph of Middlefield, Ohio.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Greenwood Funeral Home Chapel in Renton. Private inurnment will be at Greenwood Memorial Park in Renton.

Christopher Mathews
Christopher Mathews died Nov. 28, 2002, in at his home in Maple Valley. He was 49.
Born Sept. 18, 1953, in San Diego, he lived in the South County area for 45 years.
Mr. Mathews worked as a sales manager. He was a speaker and author.
He was preceded in death by his son, Christopher David Mathews. He is survived by his brother, Bud Mathews of Arizona; and sister Susan ``Sue'' Wharton of Maple Valley.
A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Friday at Generational Hope Christian Center in Maple Valley.

Dan Myatt
Dan Myatt of Auburn died Nov. 23, 2002, in Gig Harbor. He was 81.
Born Oct. 22, 1921, in Bald Knob, Ark., he served in the Army for more than 20 years and lived in Auburn for 50 years.
Mr. Myatt retired from the Army as a master sergeant on Jan. 1, 1959, and worked for the state of Washington maintenance department in Pierce County.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Irene Etta Myatt on Nov. 14, 2001. He is survived by his son, Daniel A. Myatt of San Francisco; and three grandchildren.
No services will be held. Inurnment will be at Tahoma National cemetery in Maple Valley.

Minnie C. Campbell
Minnie C. Campbell of Kent died Dec. 1, 2002, at Talbot Center in Renton. She was 84.
Born July 4, 1918, in Kelso, she lived in the South County area for 80 years.
She worked as a clerk at the Washington State Liquor stores in Kent and Southcenter for 13 years. She was a member of the Horseless Carriage Club and drove her 1927 Model T Ford in the Meeker Days and Cornucopia Days parades for years.
She is survived by her son, Darwin Ridgley of Renton; daughter Darlene Portmann of Kent; and two grandchildren.
At her request, no service will be held. Inurnment will be at Hillcrest Burial Park in Kent.
Memorials may be made to the donor's favorite charity.

Betty I. Bisyak
Betty I. Bisyak of Auburn died Jan. 11, 1998, at Belair Health Care Center in Tacoma. She was 74.
She was born March 30, 1923, in Port Orchard. She graduated from South Kitsap High School in 1941.
Mrs. Bisyak was a homemaker, a long-standing member of the Order of Eastern Star and volunteered as a Pink Lady at Valley Medical Center. She enjoyed crafting and sewing.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Burt Jensen.
Mrs. Bisyak is survived by her husband, Will Bisyak of Auburn; two sons, John Jensen of Bremerton and Bob Jensen of Port Orchard; two daughters, Sheryl Bisyak of Renton and Marilyn Calkins of Kent; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 2 p.m. today at the Rio Verde Mobile Estates Club House in Auburn. Arrangements are by Yahn & Son Funeral Home.

Gary L. Fancher
Former Renton resident Gary Lansing Fancher of Des Moines died Jan. 9, 1998, at Valley Medical Center. He was 56.
Mr. Fancher was born April 27, 1941, in Renton and graduated from Renton High School in 1959. He also lived in Wenatchee and Alaska. He was a commercial pilot for 20 years and worked for different airlines. He was a member of Academy of Model Aeronautics and Precision Aerobatic Model Pilots Association. He enjoyed sailing, working with model airplanes, collecting guns and reading.
Mrs. Fancher is survived by three brothers, Terry G. Fancher of Foster City, Calif., Allen L. Fancher of Auburn and Roger C. Fancher of Tacoma; two sisters, Lynn J. Fancher of Lisle, Ill., and Jane S. Fancher of Oklahoma City; and his parents, Hugh Fancher of Thorp and J. Maxine Fancher of Des Moines.
A memorial service will be 2 p.m. today at First United Methodist Church in Renton. Inurnment will be at Greenwood Memorial Park in Renton.
James E. Henderson
James Edward Henderson of Kent died Jan. 10, 1998, at Harborview Hospital in Seattle. He was 44.
Born Dec. 3, 1953, in Columbia, S.C., Mr. Henderson had lived in Kent for 10 years. He was a member of the River of Life Fellowship in Kent.
He is survived by his wife, Connie Henderson of Kent; two sons, Brian Sweet and Joshua Sweet, both of Auburn; two daughters, Teresa Henderson of Florida and Lisa Tibbits of New Hampshire; his mother, Ruth Henderson of Morrow, Ga.; and two sisters, Patricia Martin of Ohio and Shellie Purdy of Georgia.

Lance L. Berglund
Lance L. Berglund of Kent died Jan. 9, 1998, in Auburn. He was 60.
Born Dec. 9, 1937, in Tacoma, Mr. Berglund was a resident of Kent for more than 30 years. He worked as an upholsterer and enjoyed NASCAR racing.
He is survived by his brother, Adrian Berglund of Shelton.

Margaret M. Hoffman
Margaret Mary Hoffman of Auburn died Jan. 13, 1998, at Canterbury House in Auburn. She was 86.
Born July 27, 1911, in Seattle, Mrs. Hoffman graduated from Garfield High School and had lived in Auburn since 1979. She married
Hilbert Hoffman in 1985. She previously worked at West Coast Telephone in Everett. She was a homemaker and a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Auburn and St. Francis of Cabrini Circle.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Arthur Herold, in 1974.
Mrs. Hoffman is survived by her husband, Hilbert Hoffman of Auburn; a son, William R. Herold of Auburn; a brother, Roger Ford of Seattle; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A rosary service will be 7 p.m. today at Price-Helton Funeral Chapel in Auburn. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at Holy Family Catholic Church in Auburn. Burial will be at Holyrood Catholic cemetery in Seattle. Arrangements are by Price-Helton Funeral Chapel in Auburn.

Paul B. Carlin
Former Renton resident Paul Bernard Carlin of Seattle died Jan. 11, 1998, in Renton. He was 84.
Born May 20, 1913, in Issaquah, Mr. Carlin was a resident of Renton for 40 years.
He married
Florence Leitheiser in 1955 and worked as a stationary engineer at Virginia Mason Hospital. He was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Renton, Antonians, Knights of Columbus, Holy Name Society, Renton Eagles, Hod Carriers Union, Laborers Union and International Stationary Engineers Union. He enjoyed fishing, camping, playing cards and watching television.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Anna Monk.
Mr. Carlin is survived by his wife, Florence I. Carlin of Seattle; and a brother, Charles Carlin of Oroville, Calif.
A mass of Christian burial will be 11 a.m. today at St. Anthony Church in Renton. Burial will be at Greenwood Memorial Park in Renton. Arrangements are by Faull-Stokes Mortuary in Renton.
