Anna L. Noel
Former Auburn resident Anna L. Noel of Arlington died Jan. 12, 1998, in Arlington. She was 98.
She was born Jan. 29, 1899, in Fort Rice, N.D. She taught country school grades one through eight in North Dakota and also worked as a cook in a boarding school.
She lived in Auburn from 1943 to 1978. She was a member of the Holy Family Catholic Church in Auburn. A homemaker, she enjoyed playing the piano, crocheting, gardening and baking. She was a Gold Star mother.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leon Noel; and two sons, Louis Noel and Donald Noel.
Mrs. Noel is survived by four sons, Leon Noel Jr., of Algona, Ronald Noel of Auburn, Paul Noel of Analaska and Samuel Noel of Arvada, Colo.; five daughters, Leola Brock of Snoqualmie, Rita Crutchfield and Maybelle Zosel, both of Renton, Joyce Graff of Arlington and Cherry Lind of Sumner; a sister, Nellie Williams of Rapid City, S.D.; 37 grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
Rosary will be 7 p.m. today at Holy Family Catholic Church in Auburn. A funeral mass will be 1 p.m. Friday at Holy Family Catholic Church. Burial will be at Mountain View cemetery in Auburn. Arrangements are by Price-Helton Funeral Chapel in Auburn.
Vivian M. Swanson
Vivian M. Swanson of Auburn died Jan. 12, 1998, in Tacoma. She was 77.
She was born July 23, 1920, in Grand Forks, N.D.
She married
John A. Swanson in 1960. A homemaker, she was a member of the Faith Baptist Church in Kent and the Hitch and Go chapter of the Good Sam Club.
Mrs. Swanson is survived by her husband, John Swanson of Auburn; a stepson, Kevin Swanson, serving in the Army; three stepdaughters, Sue Coffee of Prescott, Ariz., Lynn Swanson of Whidbey Island and Teri Baltzer of East Olympia; four sisters, Grace Dunkle, Pearl Paulson and Irene Simpson, all of Seattle, and Dorothy Williams of Lancaster, Calif.; 10 grandsons; and a great-granddaughter.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Bonney-Watson Washington Memorial in SeaTac. A funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, also at Bonney-Watson Washington Memorial in SeaTac. There will be a private burial at Washington Memorial Park in SeaTac.

Verna M. `Dollie' Morgan
Verna M. `` Dollie'' Morgan of Renton died Jan. 11, 1998, in Renton. She was 88.
She was born May 1, 1909, in Puyallup. She lived in Tacoma for 46 years before moving to Renton 18 years ago to be near her family.
She is survived by three sons, John Volkirch of Cle Elum, Dan Roberts of Graham and Larry Roberts of Renton; three daughters, Barbara Baarstad of Bothell, Claudette Clemons of Renton and Beverly Bowden of Soap Lake; a brother, Tom Roberts of Buckley; three sisters, Dorothy Sibley of Snohomish, Shirley Nelson of Pacific and Bonnie Durdle of Spanaway; 22 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 2 to 5 p.m. today and 9 to 10 a.m. Thursday at Powers Funeral Home in Puyallup. A graveside service will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Woodbine cemetery in Puyallup. Arrangements are by Powers Funeral Home of Puyallup.
Michael R. Bouta
Former Auburn resident Michael R. Bouta of Redmond died Jan. 11, 1998, in Bellevue after a long battle with brain cancer. He was 54.
Born Feb. 19, 1943, in Benson, Minn., to Roy Joseph and Alonah Fitzpatrick Bouta, Mr. Bouta was raised in eastern Washington before his family moved to Auburn when he was 14.
He graduated from Auburn High School and from Central Washington University. He worked as community corrections supervisor for the Washington State Department of Corrections until his retirement after 20 years of service.
Mr. Bouta is survived by his wife, Kathy Bouta of Redmond; four sons, Brian Bouta of Tallahassee, Fla., Nick Bouta of San Diego and Drew Bouta and Cameron Bouta, both of Redmond; two brothers, David Bouta of Sumner and Tom Bouta of Algona; three sisters, Janyce Bouta of Seattle, Ilene Burke of Auburn and Cedar Wells of Olympia; his mother, Alonah Dean of Auburn; and two grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 1 p.m. today at St. Louise Catholic Church in Bellevue. Arrangements are by Green's Bellevue Funeral Home.

Paul L. Randolph
Paul Laurence Randolph of Renton died Jan. 12, 1998, in Bellevue. He was 84.
Mr. Randolph was born Jan. 17, 1913, in Kasota, Minn., moved to Kirkland in 1948, then to Renton in 1949. He married
his first wife, Mary Kaveney in 1937 in Minnesota and married
his second wife, Marie Rupprecht in 1983.
He worked at the Pentagon War Department during World War II and as a police officer in Mankato, Minn., and worked as a machinist for The Boeing Co. until his retirement in 1976. He was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Renton, the Knights of Columbus and Renton Elks. He enjoyed bowling, playing cards and watching sports.
He was preceded in death by his wives, Mary Kaveney in 1981 and Marie Rupprecht in 1993.
Mr. Randolph is survived by a son, Brian Randolph of Renton; three daughters, Diane Hendricks of Everett, Kathy Gimness of Kirkland and Barbara Selfridge of Leawood, Kan.; 12 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be noon to 4 p.m. today and 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday followed by a vigil service at Faull-Stokes Mortuary in Renton. A mass of Christian burial will be 10 a.m. Friday at St. Anthony Church in Renton. Burial will be at Gethsemane cemetery in Federal Way. Arrangements are by Faull-Stokes Mortuary in Renton.

Anna M. Schiff
Anna M. Schiff of Kent died Jan. 11, 1998, in Kent. She was 89.
Born April 21, 1908, in Silva, N.D., Mrs. Schiff lived in Yakima from 1942 to 1983 and then moved to Kent. She married
Balzer T. Schiff in 1929 in North Dakota. She was a homemaker and a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Kent. She enjoyed gardening.
She was preceded in death by her husband; a son, Kenneth C. Schiff; and a daughter, Beverly Klaudt.
Mrs. Schiff is survived by two sons, Eugene B. Schiff of Kent and Donald R. Schiff of Yakima; a daughter, Marlena A. Teague of Kent; two sisters, Magdalena Young of Camas and Kathryn Jackson of Santa Rosa, Calif.; 14 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 1 to 8 p.m. today at Marlatt Funeral Home in Kent. A funeral mass will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Kent. Burial will be at Hillcrest Burial Park in Kent.
Betty I. Bisyak
Betty I. Bisyak of Auburn died Jan. 11, 1998, at Belair Health Care Center in Tacoma. She was 74.
She was born March 30, 1923, in Port Orchard. She graduated from South Kitsap High School in 1941.
Mrs. Bisyak was a homemaker, a long-standing member of the Order of Eastern Star and volunteered as a Pink Lady at Valley Medical Center. She enjoyed crafting and sewing.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Bud Jensen.
Mrs. Bisyak is survived by her husband, Will Bisyak of Auburn; two sons, John Jensen of Bremerton and Bob Jensen of Port Orchard; two daughters, Sheryl Bisyak of Renton and Marilyn Calkins of Kent; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Thursday at the Rio Verde Mobile Estates Club House in Auburn. Arrangements by Yahn & Son Funeral Home.

Orrie H. Richardson
Retired Lt. Col. Orrie H. Richardson of Auburn died April 15, 1998, in Auburn. He was 88.
Born Nov. 2, 1909, in Seattle, Mr. Richardson spent his career in the Army, serving in the South Pacific during World War II and serving two tours of duty in post-war Germany. At the time of retirement, he was stationed at Aberdeen Proving Grounds in Maryland. He lived in San Diego for 20 years before moving to Auburn. He was a member of the Retired Officers Association.
Mr. Richardson is survived by a son, Ron Richardson of Seattle; a daughter, Lynda Beaton of Sun City, Ariz.; and a sister, Virginia Cleveland of Kent; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Monday at Panther Lake Baptist Church in Kent. Mr. Richardson's ashes will be scattered by the Navy out of San Diego.

John Williams
Longtime Auburn resident John Williams died April 13, 1998, in Seattle. He was 58.
Born June 10, 1939, in Dayton, Mr. Williams lived in Auburn 48 years, worked as a framer in the carpentry industry and enjoyed fishing and the outdoors.
He is survived by seven brothers, Robert Wil-liams of Maple Valley, Ronald Williams of Bonney Lake, Ray Williams, Richard Williams, George Williams, Michael Williams and Don Williams, all of Auburn; and a sister, Marilyn Revelee of Bonney Lake.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. today at Price-Helton Funeral Chapel in Auburn.
Ronald L. Christianson
Ronald Lee Christianson of Skyway died April 14, 1998, in Seattle. He was 69.
Born April 23, 1928, in Minneota, Minn., Mr. Christianson was a resident of the South County area 30 years.
He served in the Air Force from 1952 to 1956 and received a bachelor of science degree from California Polytechnical Institute at San Luis Obispo in 1960.
He married
Kathy Kruger in 1978 in Seattle and worked as an electrical engineer at The Boeing Co., retiring in 1995 after 27 years. He was a member of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church in Renton and was a published poet.
Mr. Christianson is survived by his wife, Kathy Christianson of Skyway; two sons, Reed Christianson and David Christianson, both of Renton; a daughter, Karla Greer of Issaquah; a brother, Lloyd Christianson of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada; a sister, Grace Hoy of Hutchinson, Minn.; and seven grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at St. Matthew's Lutheran Church in Renton. Arrangements are by Faull-Stokes Mortuary in Renton.

Debra J. Haas
Debra Jean Haas of Kent died April 13, 1998, in Renton. She was 49.
Born Sept. 26, 1948, in Taft, Calif., Mrs. Haas was a resident of the South County area 25 years.
She attended Yakima Valley Jr. College. She married
Dennis C. Haas in 1979 in Burien and worked as an insurance agent for Farmers Insurance more than 20 years. She enjoyed gardening, bowling, fishing, crafting and being in the mountains.
Mrs. Haas is survived by her husband, Dennis C. Haas of Kent; a son, Darrell Edward Palmer of Seattle; a brother, Vollie Rutledge Jr. of Custer; three sisters, Marsha Shultz of Ferndale, Darla Munzanreider of Bellingham and the Rev. Cheryl Kaylor of Coral Springs, Fla.
A memorial service was held. Arrangements are by Faull-Stokes Mortuary in Renton.

Suzanne H. Reed
Suzanne H. Reed of Renton died of cancer March 22, 1998, in Renton. She was 54.
She was born Aug. 8, 1943, in Pasco, graduated from Connell High School in Connell and received a bachelor's degree in education from Central Washington University. She married
Frank M. Reed Jr. in 1968 in Anchorage, Alaska, where they lived 18 years. She worked as a human resources specialist at the Federal Aviation Administration.
She was a member of Highlands Community Church and the church bell choir and was a Sunday school teacher at Central Lutheran Church in Anchorage. She enjoyed crafts, gift-making, reading, antique shopping, garage sale sifting and watching Chicago Bulls basketball with her sons. She danced at her daughter's wedding a month before her death.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Helen Meyenburg Heideman; a brother, Arch Heideman; and a sister, Irma Welch.
She is survived by her ex-husband, Frank M. Reed Jr.; two sons, Travis Reed and Ryan Reed, both of Bellevue; a daughter, Tracy Reed of Seattle; a brother, Butch Heideman; and two sisters, Liz Tucker and Frieda Thompson.
Memorial services were held at Highlands Community Church in Bellevue and in Anchorage, Alaska. As requested, her ashes will be scattered over Mount Rainier. Arrangements were by Bleitz of Bellevue.
