Naomi Rhoda FISCHBACH
Was born July 19, 1945, and lost a hard fought battle with cancer on November 4, 2000.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 34 plus years, Max and her loving sons Lance and Rex.
Surviving family members include her sisters Joy Barringer and Elaine Waters and brothers Dan Smith, Arvid Smith and David Smith.
Surviving special friends include Randi Hagen, Anita Berzins, Sue Rosenberry, Vita Seciwa, Mitsuko Gable and Linda Vokral.
Naomi was born in Stockton, CA. and moved to Spokane, WA. at an early age where she eventually met her husband Max.
She lived in the Seattle area for well over 34 years and during this time touched the lives of many.
Naomi gave unconditional love to her family and always had a smile and good word for everyone.
During her life, she volunteered hundreds of hours to the American Cancer Society and local nursing homes in the area.
As founder of Whisker Watchers of Lynnwood, she ran a highly successful pet sitting service for years, until her untimely death.
She will be sorely missed by her immediate family and all of those fortunate to have known her.

Gary Robert FOX "Bob"
Born October 19, 1947 in Mount Vernon, Washington and died at home on November 3, 2000 following a courageous, 3-year battle with Esophagus and Stomach Cancer.
Bob grew up in Kingston, Washington.
In 1966 he graduated from North Kitsap High School in Poulsbo, Washington.
He worked for Manson Construction until his death.
He was a member of the Pile Drivers Union, Local #2396 for 29 years.
He enjoyed camping and belonged to Pleasant Forest Camping Club where he had served as Vice President and Secretary.
Bob was a member of Span-a-Park Eagles, Aerie 3563. Member of Tacoma Elks Lodge #174, and Thornton F. McElroy Masonic Lodge #302.
Bob is survived by his wife Judie; mother Dolores Stock.
He was father to Jayme Foster, Stacey Barber and Shawn Fox.
Sisters: Nadine Ice, Candace (Ron) House, Suzette (Dan) Casey, Jill (Jim) Campy, Jamie MacKenzie, Jody Newman.
Brothers: Jeff Fox, Jay (Heather) Fox and Jon (Theresa) Fox. Grandchildren: Tyson Barber and Andrew Barber. Aunts: Elaine (Wayne) Kennedy, Carol (Doug) Sherman, Karen (Tom) Poole and Lucille Fox. Nieces: 10, nephews: 11.
Bob is preceded in death by his father James V. Fox; stepfathers: Ken Rasmussen and Marvin Stock; brothers James (JJ) Fox, Jack Fox; and Uncle Don Clark.
Memorial Services will be Saturday, November 11, 2000, at 11 a.m. at the Mission Woods Church, 2003 Taylor Street, Milton, Washington.

Of Bellevue, died November 1, 2000 at age 98.
preceded in death by husband, Carl and son, Robert.
Survived by loving daughter, Beverly Kosak of Bellevue and family, Craig, Kent, Dyanna, Caren, Jessisa and Kramer; daughter-in-law, Agatha of Yuma, AZ. and family; brother, Glenn (Iris) Henning of Bozeman, MT.; numerous nephews, nieces and friends.
She will be greatly missed for her sweet, happy disposition and love for life.

Tomi FUJIMURA
Age 93, passed away peacefully on October 31, 2000.
Survived by son, Yoshio (Joanne) Fujimura of Renton and daughter, Mary Ann Shigio of Tacoma.
Loving grandmother of six grandchildren: Chris Nomura, Jeff (Phyllis) Nomura, Debbie (Paul) Groesbeck, Stacey (Michael) Takano, Steve (Maki) Fujimura, and Pam Fujimura.
Great Grandmother to three grandchildren: Brooke and Katie Groesbeck, and William Takano.
Tomi is also survived by sister, Mary Tabata of Seattle, sister in laws, Alice (Junior, deceased) Tsukuno of Seattle, Yoshiye (Toshi, deceased) Tsukuno of Ontario, Oregon, and Kay (Harold, deceased) Tsukuno of Burr Ridge, Illinois.
Tomi was born in Seattle on August 20, 1907.
She was a graduate of the University of Washington Class of 1933 and a member of the U. W. Women's Club, Fuyo-Kai, Japanese Baptist Church and the Apostolic Bible Church of Jesus Christ.
Tomi will be deeply missed by her many friends and relatives.
She will be remembered most for her giving and loving ways and her kind, sweet smile.

Born July 12, 1912 in Detroit Lakes, MN., passed away November 7, 2000 in Edmonds, WA.
She is survived by daughters, Donna (Roger) Boe and Janice Red, grandchildren Karen (Dan) Anderson, Gregory Red, Gary (Tracy) Red, Laurie Red and great-grandchildren Brooke and Lauren Anderson, Jeremy, Jessica and Jonathon Red.
She is preceded in death by her husband Leonard Gardner.

Florence L. GILES
Florence L. Giles, 89, passed away November 5th in Spokane where she had resided since 1993.
A Memorial Service will be held Monday, November 13th at 11 a.m. at Arthur A. Wright Funeral Home, 520 W. Raye Street, Seattle, WA.
Mrs. Giles was born and raised in Cherokee, KS. where she won a vocal scholarship to Kansas State University.
After one year there, she and her family moved to the Seattle area where, at the Bon Marche', she was a model and sales clerk.
She was married
to Frank R. Giles for 63 years until his death in June 1998.
The Giles were Magnolia residents for more than 45 years.
Florence was a dedicated homemaker, member of the Milk Fund, Garden Club, Glen Acres Golf Club, and various bridge groups.
She is survived by her daughters Judith (Pete) Nettles of Spokane and Linda (Martin) Wahoske of Excelsior, MN.; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorial gifts may be made in her name to the Alzheimer's Association or a children's charity of choice.
Stanley J. GLOWASKI
Stan "The Man" Glowaski, age 67, passed away peacefully in his sleep on November 2, 2000.
Born on October 26, 1933, in Menlo, Washington to Stan and Nellie Glowaski.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his sisters Mary, Josie, Annie, and his brother Ed.
Stan was a basketball star at Valley High, Grays Harbor CC, and Seattle University.
He also enjoyed golf, fishing, and "playing the slots".
Stan's other passion was his family.
He was a beloved husband, father and friend.
He was al ways there to give you a helping hand.
We all miss you and love you. Visitation will be Tuesday, Nov. 7th from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.; the Funeral Services will be Wednesday, Nov. 8th at 11 a.m., both at the Acacia Funeral Home, 14951 Bothell Way N.E., Seattle.

Leo R. GRIFFIN, Jr.
Age 78. Born July 15, 1924 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
passed away in Seattle on November 1, 2000.
Attended Central Catholic High School in Pittsburgh (Class of 1940), and graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in 1948 with a degree in business, after serving in the Army during WWII.
He moved to Seattle in 1985.
Before his retirement he worked at several Pittsburgh insurance and real estate companies including Flocos Gallery of Homes, Kelly-Wood, and Pitt Real Estate.
He was a life long student of History and loved to read biographies.
He had a fond ness for a well told story.
He always liked to describe things in metaphor and analogies.
He contracted lung cancer after a lifetime of smoking.
He enjoyed walking around Greenlake in Seattle and the Highland Park Reservoir in Pittsburgh.
He was preceded in death by his wife Elizabeth Allen whom he married
in 1954.
His family would especially like to thank Dr. Martin Cahn for his care.
He is survived by his son, Leo R. Griffin III; daughters, Wendy Griffin, Pamela Lawrence, Victoria Trinder; and seven grandchildren.
