William B. GRISVARD
passed away November 3, 2000 at home at age 80. Born August 17, 1920 in Seattle, WA.
We will miss this man, a veteran of the depression, the CCC's and World War II.
In 1942 he married
the best girl in Seattle, Norene and together they produced three children who owe every good thing in life to their dads devotion to them and their mother.
He retired from Crown Zellerbach after 36 years in 1979.
There are few perfect words to express our pride in being the wife and children of a man so caring, giving and hard working.
He had a passion and knowledge of those "fine old automobiles", as he called them that few could match.
A talented artist, he expressed that passion through his fabulous drawings of antique cars, which will be enjoyed and treasured by many for years to come.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Norene, children Lorraine, Jim and Yvonne, three grandchildren, Mike, Dan and Janelle and three great-grandchildren.

Laurie GULBRANSEN
Age 87, passed away November 4, 2000.
She was the widow of John E. Gulbransen who passed away in 1997.
Laurie was born and raise in Seattle where she managed and later owned "The Dog House Restaurant".
She worked there for 60 years.
She was a real fan and supporter of the Seahawks, Mariners (formerly Seattle Rainiers) and Huskies.
She was a board member and Life Patron of the Variety Club.
Laurie is survived by a son David Gulbransen, Tustin, CA and daughter, Merrily Boone, Manchester, WA; grandsons, Scott Boone, Ian Gulbransen and Justin Gulbransen.

Kevin HADLEY
Kevin Hadley, age 36, died early Monday morning, November 6, 2000 at the UW Medical Center.
He was born in Laramie, WY. on February 26, 1964.
He is survived by his life partner, Victor Pappas of Seattle, WA.; his parents, Carol and John Limbach, and grandfather, Herbert Hadley of Billings, MT.; his brother, Stuart Wheeler of Everett, WA.; a nephew, Jesse Wheeler of Denver, CO.; and many loving friends.
As an actor Kevin was a regular performer at the Bathhouse Theatre, the Fifth Avenue Theatre, and the Seattle Children's Theatre, and was a successful print model.
Also a playwright, his play Healing premiered at the Annex Theatre, where he was a member.
An accomplished singer, he was a member of the Washingtonians choir.
He served as the Seattle liaison to Actors' Equity Association for several years.
A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, November 20, 2000 at 6 p.m. at the Seattle Children's Theatre at the Seattle Center.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation may be made to the UW Medical Center.

Floy June HAGEN (Mrs. Fred J. Hagen)
Floy was born on June 11, 1915 and passed away on November 4, 2000.
She is preceded in death by her husband Fred J. Hagen in 1989.
She is sur vived by her two sons James J. and William T. Hagen; her daughter Margaret Anne Hagen; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, November 10, 2000 at 11 a.m. at the St. Bridget Catholic Church, 4900 N.E. 50th St., Seattle, WA.
A Viewing will be offered on the same day from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. at the Church.
A reception will follow the interment at Floy's home at 2821 - 2nd Ave. #1801.
Interment will be at Calvary cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Children's Hospital or the Girl Scouts.

Paul HANISCH
Born August 26, 1913 to Paul and Margaret Hanisch in Carnegie, PA.
passed away November 4, 2000 in Seattle, WA.
He was married
60 years to Katherine Hanisch, employed by Northwestern Glass Company for the major part of his working life until his heart attack at age 59.
Thanks to Medic One he was brought back to life and lived another 28 years.
In addition to his wife Paul is survived by his daughters Paula (Colin) Stone, Peggy (Steve) Lich and granddaughter Christina, sisters Hannah Olson, Margaret Troeppel and numerous nieces and nephews.

Lester M. HITCHCOCK
Age 87, of Des Moines. Born Feb. 18, 1913 in Seattle, passed away October 23, 2000.
Survived by his wife of 61 years, Marie, daughter Lynne, son Larry, two granddaughters, and brother Ralph.
"Les" graduated Magna Cum Laude at the University of Washington in Aeronautical Engineering and spent 38 years at the Boeing Company designing and managing airplane development including the 707 as well as product improvement modifications to the 727 and 747.

Louise A. JENSEN
Died November 1, 2000 after a long illness.
Daughter of John and Anna Vistaunet, she grew up in Bellingham, and then taught for three years before marrying Emil Jensen in 1939.
Raising three daughters in Seattle and then Olympia, after retirement they built their dream home at Kayak Point.
In 1998, they moved into the Warm Beach Senior Community.
Louise will be remembered for her hospitality, piano playing, and especially her warm and positive spirit.
Louise is survived by her husband Emil; daughters, the Rev. Carol Jensen, Stanwood, Mary Mezich; Edmonds, and Sharon Thomas, New Zealand; sister, Helen Brown and brother, Sigurd Vistaunet, and seven grandchildren.

(Betty) Edwina JOHNSON
Her friends knew her as Edwina.
She passed away at 1:15 p.m. on Friday, October 27, 2000 at Central Washington Hospital, Wenatchee, Wa., after a long illness.
Edwina was 63.
She was born at Lake Stevens on March 15, 1937, and is survived by her mother, Eva C. Johnson; a brother, Nils and his wife Peggy Johnson; her aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Johnson, all of Soap Lake; her nephew, Shawn Johnson of Issaquah; three nieces, Dawn Wells of Bellevue, Stacy Neault of Issaquah, Eva Nicole Johnson of Kirkland; 2 grandnephews & 2 grandnieces.
Edwina graduated from Ballard High School and attended the University of Washington where she studied accounting.
She married
Roger Jennings of Seattle and the couple moved to San Francisco.
Edwina was hired as head accountant for a real estate firm and was later promoted to Vice President.
She was a member of the VASA Lodge, a past Director of the Soap Lake Senior Center.
She was an officer at the Ephrata Elks Lodge.
There will be services there on Thursday evening at 7 p.m. on Nov. 9th.
