Perri C. REINHART
Born April 16, 1943 in Butte, Montana; passed away unexpectedly June 19, 2001 in Seattle. Survived by her loving mother, Rose Reinhart; her brother, Adam Reinhart; her sister, Marti Salo, and her brother-in-law, Marc; and her niece, Sabrina Savarin. Also survived by her aunts, Georgia and Lavonne McNulty, and many, many cousins. preceded in death by her father, Eugene, in 1997. A truly amazing person, Perri's disabilities never conquered her love of life and joyful spirit. Her family is grateful for the hundreds of caregivers, who throughout the years have been a part of her life. A Mass for Perri will be celebrated Wednesday, June 27th, at 9 a.m. at St. Therese Church, 3416 East Mari on St., Seattle. Elizabeth Anne REITH
Was born in Bellingham, Washington April 21, 1923, and died peacefully in her sleep on June 19, 2001. She was a graduate of Holy Names Academy and Seattle University and had a Master of Fine Arts Degree from Fort Wright College. She taught in the Catholic School System for 20 years and was an abstract expressionist painter. Anne had a kind, generous, fun loving spirit that was greatly appreciated by her many friends and relatives. She was an only child with many cousins, nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held at St. James Cathedral in the near future. Memorial contributions may be made to the Sisters of the Holy Names of Jesus and Mary, 2911 Fort Wright Drive, Spokane.

Alan J. RIEM
passed away, Thursday, June 14, 2001, at Virginia Mason Hospital, after a courageous fight against the end-stages of renal disease. Alan was born on September 12, 1950 in Seattle, Washington, to Walter and Sophia Riem. A long time resident of Normandy Park, he graduated from Mt. Rainier High School and the University of Washington, where he was a member of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity. Alan was employed for 21-years with the Boeing Company, as a Buyer. Alan was a long-time University Husky fan; he enjoyed coin collecting, and was a patron of the Pacific Northwest Ballet. Until his health made it too difficult, Alan spent many of his earlier years as a volunteer at Children's Orthopedic Hospital. Alan leaves behind his loving mother, Sophia Riem; brother, Gregg; sister-in-law, Pamela; and two nieces, Jennifer Riem and Stephanie Riem. A Memorial Service will be held at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 8501 S.E. 40th St., Mercer Island, Thursday, June 28th, at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Children's Orthopedic Hospital, Attn: Memorials CL04, P.O. Beloved mother and grandmother born August 19, 1919 in Kamloops, B.C. passed away peacefully on June 19, 2001. She is survived by daughters Maria (Jerry) Beppu, Angela Hoyos and Christina Sousa; sister Lani (John) Abassolo. Loving grandmother to 16 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Born November 27, 1915 in Watervelit, NY; died June 20, 2001 in Seattle. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Claire Riley; nieces, Nina Healy of Sherrill, NY and Linda Richter of Basom, NY, and their families; nephews, Thomas, Gregory and Clayton Jordan and their families; cousin, David Jordan and family of Pomona, CA; and sister-in-law, Sr. Kathleen Gorman, SNJM of Seattle. Mr. Riley served in the Merchant Marine and U.S. Navy in World War II and the Korean Conflict. A member of the MEBA, he retired as a boiler inspector for the City of Seattle. Visitation and Recitation of the Rosary will be Sunday, June 24th, at 4 p.m. at Hoffner Fisher & Harvey Chapel The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, June 25th, at 10 a.m. at Holy Family Church, 9622 20th Ave. S. Dorothy Myrtle RISMOEN
Born Feb. 2, 1918, went to be with the Lord on June 18, 2001. She is survived by her son, Johann Rismoen, daughter-in-law, Marie, sister Carol Stremel, nieces Shawn and Dawn Stremel, grandchildren, Rachael, Adam, Jason and Stephanie, and six great grandchildren. Services are scheduled at New Hope Presbyterian Church, 833 S. Thistle, South Park, Seattle, Saturday, June 30th at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to New Hope Church. Willard "Bill" Wayne ROBERTS
Long time resident of Seattle, Washington, passed away after a brief illness on June 8, 2001. He was born January 13, 1913, a native of Fremont, Indiana. He was 88 years old. In about 1916, Willard and his family moved to Harve, Montana where they did upper land dry farming. Due to poor weather and drought they were forced to leave in 1921. The family then moved to Wash. State, ending up in West Seattle. Willard graduated from West Seattle HSC in 1932. He lived his earlier years in the Okanogan Valley in Oroville, Washington, and worked for the Great Northern Railroad. He was retired after 34 years of very hard and fulfilling work. During those years of working for Great Northern he took his children on a most memorable trip to Florida on the Vista Dome NorthWest Limited. He was married
to Bertha McKinley. They had one son, Willard James "Jim" Roberts of Seattle, Washington. He married
Claire Elaine Freemire in 1942. They had four children, Larry Wayne Roberts - deceased 1987; Donald Joseph Roberts, a teacher in Turkey; Fredrick Rae Roberts - deceased 1984 and Kathleen Marie Roberts-Burns, a nurse, Sacramento, California. He was preceded in death by his parents, Milo John Roberts and Mary Gertrude Stoffels Roberts-Bock, his sister, Florence, loving daughter-in-law Inger Olsson Roberts and great granddaughter Katrina Inga Marie Roberts, two sons, Larry and Fred. He is survived by his sister Elta Roberts - Root of Bellevue and brother Kenny Roberts of Ellensburg, children Jim, Don and Kathy, grandchildren Michael Roberts and Maria Roberts-Norris of Everett, Wayne Roberts of Pennsylvania, Elliot, Dane and Stewart Roberts of Turkey, December Stroble-Martin and Michael David Burns of Sacramento, California, his daughter-in-law Sandee Roberts of Turkey and his son-in-law Ron Burns of Sacramento. His great grandchildren include Haelin Roberts of Edmonds, Washington, and Anthony Gabriel "Baby Tony" of Sacramento, Chelsea Roberts of Pennsylvania. He was given the nickname "Rattlesnake Bill" because of his love of hunting the snakes and his hobby of making wallets and belts from their skins. He often displayed the rattlers' tails and fangs at an exhibit held at the annual May Day Festival in Oroville and other various locations in the Okanogan Valley. He loved fishing with his children and spent much time fishing at Cecil Creek. He loved to sing the old songs he taught his children so many years ago. He gave to us the same love and joy of singing. "Dear Dad - You left behind the song in your heart and took with you the song in mine. Happy Father's Day. Rest in Peace." Love, Jim, Don and Kathy.
