Michael Clark COOPER
Age 56, died on 9-29-01 in Puyallup, Wa. He is survived by his wife Charlene and two children, Jennifer and Jon. He was a highly decorated Vietnam War Veteran and served 20 years in the Army, as well as many other accomplishments following retirement. He was loved by all who knew him and will be greatly missed. Irene Luella COSSETTE
In loving memory of our mother, Irene Luella Cossette, 73, who peacefully passed away Saturday morning, September 29th after a courageous six-month battle with heart disease. She was born July 8, 1928 in Horace, North Dakota to Arthur and Helga Rekken. She was one of seven children and is survived by sisters, Florence, Hazel and Rosie. Irene 'Reno' is also survived by her Sons Keith, Dean and wife Debbie, Scott and wife Jackie, Todd, Daughter Tracy and husband Marty. Grandchildren, Chad, Aaron, Garrett, Jordan, Kaylee and Matthew whom all were deeply honored to be able to spend one of her last days doing one of the things she loved the most, Having a party! She was known for the endless years of support of her children's sporting events, loved going to Reno and Bingo and was a huge fan of the Mariners. She was preceded in death in 1983 by her dearest husband of 36 years, 'Lars'. A devoted Mother and Grandmother, she will be greatly missed. Ruby B. DINEROS, 43, passed away September 28, 2001. She was born July 2, 1958 in General Santos City, Philippines, the daughter of Ruperto and Maria Besinga. Ruby is survived by her husband, Roger Dineros; son Dionesio Nadala; daughter Dioby Ann Nadala; parents Ruperto and Maria Besinga; brother Ruperto Besinga Jr.; and sisters Rumarie Roldan and Rumelani Masoud. Vigil Services will be Thursday, October 4 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Evergreen-Washelli Funeral Home, 11111 Aurora Ave N., Seattle. Funeral Services will be Friday, October 5, 2001 at 7:30 p.m., and will be conducted at Community Bible Fellowship Church, 5823 176th St. S.W., Lynnwood. Marion Belle (Pynn) DUNBAR
In loving memory of our mother, Marion Dunbar, 90, who peacefully passed away Friday morning, September 28, 2001, after suffering a stroke. She was born on September 25, 1911. One of eight children of Franklin and Anne Pynn, she grew up in Winchester, MA., graduating from Winchester High School in 1929. She attended Harvard Business College and worked in Boston until her marriage on June 5, 1938. She and her husband and two children were constantly on the move, living in New York City, Milwaukee, Des Moines, Detroit, St. Louis, Boston, and finally settling down in Seattle in 1954. She was an active member of the Moose and a member of the University Presbyterian Church. She is survived by her husband, Reginald Dunbar, at home; her son Reg Jr. of Longview, Texas, her daughter Sandra of Las Vegas, Nevada; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She requested to be buried with her parents in Winchester, MA. Remembrances may be made to the American Diabetes Association and the Community Services for the Blind. George Stovall EDMONDSTONE
Was born June 15th, 1908 to Emilie von Bergen and George Stovall Edmondstone in Helena, Montana, and raised with his sisters Claire, Anne and Elizabeth in Portland, Oregon. As a child he became fascinated with aviation when his mother read letters from her cousin, a Major in charge of flight training on Long Island, N.Y. during World War I. George was a senior in high school when Lindbergh flew to Paris and before long he was flying and working on airplanes at Oakland airport where he met his wife to be for life, Onda Duck. Over his working lifetime he was employed by United and Boeing Airlines and as a Federal Aviation Administration inspector in Washington, California and Alaska. He always loved his wife and daughter, aviation and his Lord. He died on September 19th, 2001 and is survived by his daughter, Maryonda Scher and her husband Allen; grandchildren: Celia and husband Richard Wagner, John and wife Mary Hoagland-Scher; great-grandchildren: Anne Marie Wagner, Irene and Hazel Scher; sister-in-law Eleanor Duck; nieces and nephews: William Duck, Lloyd Duck, Christopher Prael, Tressa Prael, Felix Prael and Louise Prael Day; several cousins; their spouses and their progeny. His Memorial Service will be at 2 p.m., Saturday, October 6th, 2001 at Beacon Hill Presbyterian Church, 1625 S. Columbian Way, Seattle, WA. Herbert M. EDWARDS
Herbert Meredith Edwards was born in Tacoma, WA on May 22, 1913. After 88 wonderful years, Herb passed away suddenly and peacefully on September 21, 2001 in Seattle, WA. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Mary-Elizabeth "Dixie" Edwards. A Puget Sounder all his life, Herb attended the College (now University) of Puget Sound, where he met his bride-to-be. In 1943, Herb began working for the Seattle Housing Authority, where he served for 33 years before retiring in 1976 as Assistant Executive Director. Herb joined Rotary International in 1966 and played a major role in the development of the West Seattle Rotary Club, where he served as president in 1973-74. He was twice recognized with the Service Above Self Award, one of Rotary's highest honors. Herb was an active member of the YMCA, serving on various committees and boards. The Southeast Seattle Senior Center was another of Herb's passions. He served on the organization's Board and was its President from 1983 through 1986. A resident of The Hearthstone near Greenlake, Herb served his residential community as President of the Resident Council. Three years ago, the Edwards' established the Herb and Dixie Edwards Unrestricted Endowed Fund at the University of Puget Sound. For all of his involvement, Herb was nominated for the Seattle Post-Intelligencer's Jefferson Award in 1999. Since 1944, Herb and Dixie have been members of the University United Methodist Temple in Seattle. Avid travelers, Herb and Dixie visited dozens of countries over the years. A devoted husband and family man, Herb will be missed deeply by all who knew him. Herb is survived by his wife and three children: daughters Lynn Miller, Lynnwood, WA.; and Jan Wilson and her husband Dean, Tucson, AZ.; and son Carl Edwards and his wife Deena, Petaluma, CA. He has six grandchildren - Carla, Eric, Dan, Shawn, Melanie and Brian - and one great-grandson, Terrance, who will all miss him dearly. In lieu of flowers, Herb had asked that friends send donations to University United Methodist Temple or to a charity of their choice.
