Frank Joseph LEYRITZ
Born in Seattle on December 18, 1914. Frank passed away peacefully in his sleep on Saturday, September 29th at the age of 86. He was a life-long resident of Seattle. Frank was very proud of his early days growing up in the Atlantic Street neighborhood. There he began friendships that have survived eight decades with many of the other first-generation children in the neighborhood. He started working for Lewis Motors in Seattle in the early 1930's. His first job there was delivering Pierce Arrow auto parts throughout the city on an Indian motorcycle with a sidecar. He retired from the Westinghouse Electric Co. in 1985 after 26 years of service. Frank served with the U.S. Coast Guard during W.W. II, patrolling the submarine nets in the inland waters around the Bremerton Naval yards. After selling the last in a series of many boats he owned, Frank enjoyed a happy life at home with family, friends, and his neighbors. He is predeceased by Evelyn his wife of nearly 50 years. Frank is survived by his son Frank C., his granddaughters Gretchen Longridge and Mindy Holman, great-grandson Jerzee Holman, cousin Annie Jessen, as well as many beloved nieces and nephews. Kristoffer Likness, 63, died September 23, 2001. He was born in Karmoy, Norway and was a longtime Ballard resident. He fished Alaska for many years before retiring to Greenbank, WA. Marvel Lois (Orstad) LINDBERG, 83 of Lynnwood, WA. She was born January 28, 1918 in Park River, North Dakota to Hattie and Melvin Orstad. passed away September 27, 2001 in Edmonds, WA. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years Vernon Lindberg; son Lee Alan Lindberg; brother Myles Orstad. She is survived by her children Joanne Wilder (Jim), David Lindberg (Barbara), and Ruth Wightman (Gary). Grandsons Dwayne Loftman, Joshua Gardner, William Gardner, Mark Lindberg; great-grandchildren Jordan and Delaney Loftman; and many nieces and nephews. Donald R. LINDSEY, 65 years old. Born February 14, 1936 in Buffalo, New York, died September 27, 2001 in Medina, Washington. Beloved husband of 43 years of Phyllis Lindsey, father of Kathy Binder and her husband, Bill, and Mark Lindsey, grandfather of Lindsey Ann Binder and William Bradley Binder. He was the founder and CEO of Exotic Metals Forming Company and Member of the Rainier Golf and Country Club. Private family services and a celebration of his life will be held later. Age 53, passed away Saturday, September 29, 2001 while golfing in Kent, Washington. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Marjorie 'Bobbi' Linkem; one son and daughter in law, David and Michelle Linkem; one daughter and son in law, Kimmer and Butch LaPoint; one sister, Vonnie Eagleson; 8 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He loved Golfing. Seattle resident, Aloysius Linnemann, 76, died September 29, 2001 at the Life Care Nursing Home in Burien of complications of a stroke. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thurs day, October 4th at the West Home Funeral Chapel, 4400 California Ave. S.W., with a Rosary Vigil at 7 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Friday, October 5th at 10 a.m. at the Holy Rosary Church, 4152 42nd S.W., with Father Sarkies officiating. There will be a reception at the Church after the Mass. Aloys will be buried at the Washington Memorial cemetery next to his sister, Mary Ann Johnson. Born October 8, 1924 in St. Joseph, Minnesota, Mr. Linnemann graduated from the University of Washington in 1953 with a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration. He served honorably in the U.S. Army from June 12, 1943 until April 13, 1946 which included service as a statistical clerk on the European Front during the Second World War. Mr. Linnemann spent most of his working life at the Veteran's Administration. He was a longtime member of the Holy Rosary Church and volunteered at the St. Vincent De Paul charities and the Mount St. Vincent Nursing Home. He is survived by his cousins Dr. Roger Linnemann, Mark (Skip) Linnemann, Beth Reper, John Linnemann, Barbara Kellner and Jean Daehler; by his nieces and nephews Kathleen, Ken, Greg, and Barbara Johnson, and Joseph and John Linnemann; and by his good neighbors the Kellners. Born May 1, 1923 in Wilkes-Barre, PA., passed away September 27, 2001 in Seattle. William came to Seattle as a child. He purchased his own business in 1944, the Ace Box Co. and retired from there in 1991. William enjoyed bowling, golfing, and boating. He is survived by his wife Dorothy of Seattle, son William Lispie, Jr. of Seattle, daughter Sharon Schroeder of Maple Valley and three grandchildren. A private ser vice will be held. Melvin M. MANN, 84, of Tilton, N.H., and formerly of Seattle, WA., died Sunday, September 30, 2001. Born on September 22, 1917 in Moclips, Washington, the son of the late Dewitt and Catherine (Abbott) Mann. His family members include his wife, Carolyn (Cameron) Mann of Tilton, N.H.; a son William Mann of Tilton; two daughters, Judy Daacke of Chandler, AZ. and Patricia Kendrick of Wells, ME.; a sister Evelyn Peterson of Seattle, WA.; four grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. There are no calling hours or services. An Interment

Victor B. MANSON
Father of Norwalk Ct. resident, World War II veteran. Victor B. Manson, 80, died quietly with his loving family in Norwalk, CT, on September 5, 2001. He was the husband of the late Virginia V. Zetterwall Manson of 51 years. They made their home in Seattle, and he was employed with Northwestern Industries until their retirement to Florida. He was born in Bellingham, WA, on June 17, 1921. Mr. Manson was the son of the late Victor Byron Manson and Gertrude Pearson Manson. He was a veteran of World War II, having served in the U.S. Army. He is survived by his daughter Laurel V. Randolph and husband Dr. Charles D. Randolph, a sister Mrs. Shirley Lind of Seattle, Wa., four nieces and nephews, and three grandchildren. Family services were held in Connecticut on September 8, 2001. Expressions of sympathy may be made to a local charity or the Salvation Army. We loved him so much.

Reginald P. McINTYRE
Born April 24, 1919 in Seattle, died Sept. 29, 2001 in Renton at age 82. He attended Seattle schools, and was one of the first students at Dunlap Ele mentary School in 1925. He also attended Franklin High School. During WWII he served in the Army Air Corps. He married
Adeline Kupping er on Nov. 9, 1946 in Sprague and they moved to Renton that year. In 1949 they moved to Bryn Mawr. He worked for Boeing as a machinist for 10 years, retiring in 1981. He also worked for Ti tan Chainsaw for six years and Mechanical Products for 20 years. He was a 50 year member of International Association of Machinists Local #79 and #751; past member of A.O.P.A. (Air craft Owners Pilots Association). He attended Skyway Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife Adeline McIntyre, Seattle; son, Alan (Yvonne) McIntyre, Auburn; daughters, Maria (Daniel) Claudon, Seattle, Dora Mathisen, Seattle and Judith McIntyre; brothers, Harvey McIntyre, Burien and Donald (Lynda) McIntyre; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
