A Funeral Service for Fredrick William Oehlert will be held 11:30 a.m., Wednesday, Oct. 3, at FLINTOFTS ISSAQUAH FUNERAL HOME.
A Committal will follow at 2:30 p.m. at Tahoma National cemetery in Kent.
Fred passed away Thursday, September 27, 2001 at his home in Bellevue.
He was 81.
Fred worked as an engineer for Boeing and later the City of Everett. (Obit dated 10/02/2001.)
Evadeen J. OSBORNE
June 11, 1919 - September 30, 2001
Born in Dansville, MI, Evadeen went home to her Lord and Savior Sunday morning at her home of 47 years in Seattle, WA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Merlin T. Osborne, who passed away in 1970. Evadeen retired from the Seattle School District in 1984. Survivors include 5 children: Sharon Hanson, Connie Stride, Deena Small, and George and Jerry Osborne. She has 12 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, six living brothers and sisters and numerous nieces and nephews. Viewing will be held Wednesday, October 3rd from 10:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Funeral Service 10 a.m. Thursday, October 4th at WIGGEN & SONS FUNERAL HOME, 2003 N.W. 57th in Seattle. Hertha Hatfield PARSONS
Hertha Hatfield PARSONS, 88, passed away September 25, 2001 in West Seattle. She was born November 30, 1912 in Bismarck, ND. She was one of seven children. Hertha is survived by her children Carol Bassett and George Hatfield, their spouses, five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. In addition, she has a surviving brother and sister. Hertha was a lifelong resident of Seattle, although she spent considerable time at a second home in Alaska. She came to Seattle in 1932 and worked as a Registered Nurse at Swedish Hospital. She married
Nathan Hatfield in 1940 and retired from nursing to raise her family. Following Nathan's death in 1953, she returned to nursing at Swedish until her retirement in 1968. Her marriage to Ed Parsons, an Alaskan bush pilot and entrepreneur, provided many opportunities for travel, especially in remote areas of Alaska. Following Ed's death in 1985, she returned to Seattle. Most recently Hertha was a resident of Providence Mount St. Vincent Home in West Seattle where she received loving care from the staff as well as her daughter and son-in-law, Michael Bassett. Memorials may be sent to St. Vincent's. Graveside Services will be Saturday, September 29, at 11 a.m. at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, West Seattle (Obit dated 09/29/2001.)

He worked as a wholesale auto dealer for many years.
Beloved father of Brittany Rose Pastori; son of Rudy Pastori, Sr.; brother of Rudy Pastori, Jr. and nephew of John and Dan Patricelli and Mae Lewis.
Graveside service 11 a.m. Friday, October 5, 2001, at Hillcrest cemetery, Kent.

Robert C. PEARSON
May 23, 1934 - September 24, 2001
For those who knew Bob, you know he never gave up - his poor, tired body just couldn't rally for him this one last time. Every obstacle was a challenge to overcome, and he fought with a rare bravery. His cheering section was led by his wife of 24 years, Missy, "the wind beneath his wings." His is survived, as well, by his daughter, Christine Wheeler and his grandson, Mark Johnson. He leaves his loving step-children: Ann Tolliver (husband Gene, children Jason and Lyssa); Jay Whittle (wife Julie, children Jennifer and Janelle); Lee Whittles (wife Ruth, children Alexandra and Ahna); his dear sister, Lynnea Manning (husband Dick, children Jessica and Kyle). Bob was a graduate of Queen Anne High School and the University of Washington. He was the owner of Pearson Insurance Agency for 40 years. His special interest was the Insurance Fire Mark Society, for which he was honored to serve as the first president of the Northwest Chapter. Bob will be sorely missed by his friends and associates, who offered encouragement and support through his many battles. Bob was an inspiration to all who came in contact with him. At his request, there will be no services. A private celebration of his life and undaunted spirit is being planned. Remembrances suggested to Medic One in your community. (Obit dated 09/30/2001.)

Born Oct 3, 1910, Brooklyn, NY. Died Sept 1, 2001, Edmonds, WA. After 42 years with Equitable Life Assurance Society NY Home Office, retired in 1970 and moved from NJ to WA State. Sold real estate for 5 years then did volunteer work at University Prep, Seattle. Member Trinity Lutheran Church Lynnwood 1970-89. Served 3 years on church Council. Survived by his wife of 63 years Elizabeth (Betty); daughter, Christine Petersen McGarry (Bernard) of Shoreline and sister, Lillian Stratton of Seal Beach, CA. preceded in death by son Charles Wesley. Resided in Carriage Club Estates, Washington Oaks and Edmonds Retirement Inn. Cremation at his request. In lieu of flowers remembrances may be made to the Alzheimers Assoc. or to University Preparatory Academy library, 8000-25th Ave NE, Seattle, WA 98115. Patrick L. PRATA
Patrick Louise Prata, 28, died September 25, 2001. Patrick was born June 6, 1973 in Seattle to Thomas Robert and Rosemarie Golik Prata. Patrick was a man who put others first and gave generously of his time and efforts. Patrick had a strong character, magnetic personality and a wonderful sense of humor. He had an exemplary work ethic and was natural leader. Some of his achievements are a dedicated and successful businessman, Utah State CHAIRMAN NPC (Bodybuilding), Mr. Utah light heavy weight 1998. He was a champion in many athletics including, personal training, health and fitness, & pre-Navy SEAL training. He also excelled at, woodworking, drawing, and creative artistry. He is survived by his Father, Thomas Prata, sister, Anna Prata, brothers, Thomas Prata, Anthony and Sonja Prata, and John Prata. Grandmother Mary Prata and many special friends including Emily Eastman and Brenda Blakesley. Memorial Service was celebrated in Utah at St. Francis of Assissi. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday October 4, 2001 at 10 a.m. at St. Marks Catholic Church in Shoreline, WA. Committal, Holyrood Catholic cemetery. (Obit dated 09/30/2001.)
Martha C. PRATER
Known by thousands as "Aunt Martha" or "Aunt Marcy" died Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2001. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Dean. She was born Jan. 11, 1916 as Martha Vacknitz in South Dakota, the first of seventeen children. She married
Dean Prater in 1932 and moved to Seattle, WA. Martha & Dean purchased an acre of land in the Moorlands in 1939. They built a home there and raised their three children. Martha spent thirty-plus years preparing and serving meals for the children attending grade school at Kenmore and later Arrowhead school. She loved her job, the children and the teaching staff. They all loved her as well, along with her special peanut butter cookies and cinnamon rolls. Even the delivery men planned their deliveries to match the goodies coming from the oven. She is survived by her sons, Calvin and his wife Amedee of Wenatchee, Glen and his wife Pearl of Shoreline and daughter Andrea of Edmonds, along with two brothers, three sisters, seven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. At Martha's request there will be no memorial service. She will be laid to rest next to husband Dean at Sunset Hills cemetery, Bellevue (Obit dated 10/02/2001.)

Rose Mary Salle RAGGIO, 99, of Leavenworth and a former resident of the Seattle area died Saturday evening (Sept. 29, 2001) in a Cashmere Convalescent Center. Born on April 2, 1902 to Frank Apollino and Christine (DePasquale) Salle in Seattle. Mar ried Ernest R. Raggio in 1923 in Seattle, lived near Bow Lakd; Beacon Hill; Pine Lake and Capitol Hill. 1981 moved to Leavenworth. Survived by son and daughter-in-law, Frank and Shirley Raggio of Leavenworth; three grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. Entombment in Calvary Catholic cemetery Mausoleum. Service of Commemoration to Celebrate the Life of Rose Mary Raggio will be held at a later date in Seattle. Anne O'Gorman Early REDDY
Born January 8, 1901 in Belfast, Ireland to Patrick and Mary Ellen Early, passed away at the age of 100 years, 8 months and 20 days, on September 28, 2001 in Seattle, Washington. Anne attended the old Sacred Heart Elementary School and then the Cathedral High School in Seattle until it was forced to close from the flu epidemic. She married
John M. Reddy, Sr. on January 16, 1924 in Seattle. Anne was a long-time member of Christ The King Catholic Church in Seattle and devoted much of her time to both the church parish and the school. She is survived by her daughters; Patricia Reddy, Mary Kelly, Anne Rodin, Eileen (Albert) Thompson, Dorothy (Henry) Galliano, and Margaret (Kenneth) Huckins, her son-in-law Erl Atkinson, fifteen grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband John M. Reddy, Sr. in 1954, her sons Bernard C. in 1927, John M., Jr. in 1994, her daughter Kathleen U. Atkinson in 1969, twin grandsons John M. Reddy III and Patrick B. in 1952 and Mark E. Atkinson in 1984. A Rosary and Funeral Mass will be given at 11a.m. on Thursday, October 4, 2001, at Christ The King Catholic Church, 405 - N. 117th St., Seattle. Interment
