Aldo PATRICELLI
In loving memory of Aldo Patricelli, born 1/25/15 and passed 11/9/01. preceded in death by his beloved wife Mary Patricia Patricelli and survived by his Sister-in-law Georgia Gleason, several nieces and nephews and 2 sisters and 2 brothers. As a young man Al owned and operated Shoe Repair shops for several years and then moved on to work for the State of Washington Bankruptcy Collection Dept., retiring after a long successful career. He was an avid golfer and was very active in the Young Men's Democratic Party. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Geneva on January 14, 2001.

Larry Dennis PERSINGER
Larry Dennis PERSINGER, 64, of Lynnwood, died November 7, 2001 at home. He was a resident of Lynnwood for over 30 years. Larry was born on September 7, 1937 in Quincy, Ohio. He was the eldest son of Harold Persinger and Pauline Smith. Larry is survived by his daughters Kelly Cray and Paula Bryson; six grandchildren; mother Pauline Smith and brothers Jarry and Terry. Viewing will be held at 12 p.m. on Monday, November 12, 2001 at Open Door Baptist Church, Lynnwood. The Funeral Service will follow at 1 p.m. on Monday. Lester W. PETTIT
Les passed away on November 13th, 96 years after he opened his eyes to the world in Juneau, Alaska Territory, on July 21, 1905. He was the first of three children born to Edward and Fay Pettit. In 1917 the family moved to the Madrona neighborhood in Seattle where he attended Madrona grade school, Franklin High and the University of Washington. After graduating from the University in 1930, he went to New York where he got a job in the insurance industry. In 1934 he returned to Seattle where he was employed by the insurance brokerage firm of Marsh and McLennon. On January 30, 1938, he and Marian Craig, of Hoquiam, were married
. In 1942, Les and a friend, George Morry, started their own insurance brokerage and named it The Pettit-Morry Company. During the war Les served in the Coast Guard, patrolling the waters around the Bremerton Naval Shipyard. In 1967 he sold The Pettit-Morry Company (now known as Acordia N.W.) to its employees and retired. Les was a member of the Zeta Psi fraternity at the U of W, and later joined the Seattle Tennis Club, the Seattle Golf Club and The Men's University Club. Les was also a member of the Washington Society, Sons of the Revolution, served on the boards, as well as president, of St. Nicholas School and the Northwest Horticultural Society. He was a founder of Cascade Natural Gas Corporation and held the position of Chairman of the Executive Committee until his retirement. All his life Les loved the outdoors. He and his five daughters rode horses in the Cascades and cruised the San Juan Islands. He took up golfing in his later years. Les and Marion loved to travel and visited countries around the world. Marion preceded him in death on November 15, 1993. Les is survived by his sister, Charis Stone and brother Ward Pettit and five daughters, Penny Martin of Bellevue, Nancy Norberg and Molly Mercer of Seattle, Ginger Robbins of Sayulita, Mexico and Boo Whitridge of Corte Madera, California, as well as eleven grandchildren and one great grandson. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, November 19th at 2 p.m. at The Sunset Club, 1021 University Street, Seattle. Remembrances may be made to Children's Orthopedic Hospital or charity of your choice. Valet parking will be available.
Ralph E. PETTIT
Born in Rainier, WA. on October 24, 1912; passed away November 10, 2001 in Seattle, WA. He graduated from the College of Puget Sound in 1934, and was employed for most of his career at Todd Shipyards in Seattle until his retirement in 1977. Ralph was a longtime member of the congregation at St. James Lutheran Church in White Center, Past Master of Southgate Masonic Lodge #100 in Burien, and a member of St. John's Lodge #9 in Seattle. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Loretta J. Pettit, daughter Ruth E. Nelson and son John R. Pettit, grandchildren Eric Nelson, Robert Nelson and Laura Blumhagen, and three great grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 17, at St. James Lutheran Church, 9421 18th S.W., Seattle. Remembrances in lieu of flowers are suggested to St. James Lutheran Church or to the Alzheimer's Assoc. (Obit dated 11/14/2001.)
Margaret E. (Marge) PEIRSON
Born August 9, 1913 to Ross and Rosumund MaBee. passed away on Oct. 3l, 2001 in Shelton Washington. Marge lived most of her life in West Seattle. Worked many years for the U.S. Post Office in the West Seattle Station, and ran a Postal Service counter at the drugstore at the Fauntleroy, California Avenue Junction for many years. She worked for a few restaurants in the Seattle area for years as a hostess. She worked at the old Norselander, and the 610 restaurant in downtown Seattle, and sometimes at the 410 resturant. She was married
in 1938 to Van Rennseler Peirson the 3rd and was married
to him for 61 years, until his passing in 1999. They had one daughter, Margo Bradwell who lives in Hoodsport Washington. Marge is also survived by one sister; Alice Rainier, three grandsons; Gregg Teachout of Kingston, Robert Teachout of Woodinville, and Brian Teachout of West Seattle. She is also survived by three great grandsons. There will be no for mal services for her. A family gathering will be held next summer to celebrate she and Ren's lives, at a summer home on Camano Island. (Obit dated 11/11/2001.)
Candis E. PLUMLEE
Age 82, of Miamisburg, Ohio and Seattle, Washington, died on Thursday, November 8, 2001 at Christel Manor of Miamisburg. She is survived by her son, Howard Plumlee and wife Jeanette, her daughter Leeta Utterback and husband, Jack of Seattle. Six grandchildren, Kimberly, Bill, Karen, Erin, Matthew and Andrew; three great grandchildren, Emily, Brooke and Mitch. Also she leaves behind her loving brother William Bassett and his wife, Dottie, and many loving nieces and nephews. Candis was a graduate of Highline High School, Class of 1937. She served three years in the U.S. Coast Guard during WWII. She held an associates degree in business and accounting and worked for many years at Cox Machinery where she served on the Board of Directors. She also assisted her son in the family business until her retirement at age 75. She was a member of Eastern Star, South gate Chapter #190 O.E.S. and First Church of Christ Scientist, Centerville, Ohio. Friends may call at the Gebhart-Schmidt-Parramore Funeral Home, Miamisburg on Saturday, November 10, 2001 from 3 to 4 p.m. Entombment Services will be held at Acacia Memorial Park, Seattle, WA. on Tuesday, November 13, 2001 at 11 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to your local Hospice in her memory.
