Wilbert 'Butch' Williams
Wilbert Lee "Butch" Williams, 56, of Bremerton died June 15, 1999, at Harrison Hospital in Bremerton.
He was born Aug. 22, 1942, in Tulsa, Okla., to Wilbert and Grace (Huffman) Williams.
He was reared and educated in the Los Angeles area.
He was an MP with the Army in Germany and Vietnam.
He was an asbestos worker at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and had resided in Kitsap County since 1982. He had worked as a traveler for the asbestos union in every state but Alaska.
He was a member of the International Association of Heat & Frost Insulators and Asbestos Workers at Local 20 in Long Beach, Calif., and Local 62 in Bremerton.
He married
Susan Brabham in Kennewick on June 6, 1981. She survives him as do a stepson, Joseph Donelson of Tacoma; a stepdaughter, Tajuraden Blackhorn of Puyallup; a sister, Betty Bagwell of Manteca, Calif.; and grandchildren Katerina, Kara and Christopher.
A memorial service will be Wednesday at 3 p.m. at Lewis Funeral Chapel in Bremerton, which is directing arrangements.

Donald Mustard
Donald L. Mustard, 70, of Port Townsend, died June 15, 1999, at Jefferson General Hospital in Port Townsend.
He was born on March 18, 1929, in Bremerton and attended Bremerton schools.
He was in the Navy in World War II and was a state park manager, retiring at Fort Flagler State Park in 1985.
He and Bonnie Snyder Taylor were married
on Aug. 21, 1982, in Port Townsend. She survives him, as do sons Donald J. of Port Orchard and Michael of Jefferson, Ore.; daughters Jan I. Sparks of Centralia, Dorene D. Farr of Arlington and Juli Ann Buchanan of Ridgefield; a sister, Dorothy I. Wood of Snohomish; 17 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be June 27 at 2 p.m. in the Oscar Erickson Building at Jefferson County Fairgrounds, with burial at Soundview cemetery in Nordland.
Kosec Funeral Home of Port Townsend is handling arrangements.

Myra Eksten
Myra Age Eksten, 84, of Port Orchard died June 12, 1999, at Port Orchard Care Center.
She was born Nov. 26, 1914, in Mount Pleasant, Texas, to Eugene and Elizabeth (Whittle) Lee. She grew up in Electra, Texas.
She married
Harry Age in 1941. He preceded her in death in 1965.
She married
Ernie Eksten in 1966. He preceded her in death in 1995.
She worked as a cook at Myrhe's Restaurant, Price's Inn Restaurant and at the Washington Veterans Home. She retired in the early '70s.
She was a member of Bethel Grange, Colby United Methodist Church and had volunteered with South Kitsap Helpline.
Survivors include a son, Leon Hart of Grapeview; a daughter, Nancy Johnston of Brownsville; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also was preceded in death by her twin sister and a son, Larry Age.
Visitation was held Wednesday at Pendleton-Gilchrist Funeral Home at Rill Chapel. A reception and a funeral service were held Thursday also at Rill Chapel. Interment
was at Sunset Lane cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
Suzanne Robison
Former Olalla resident Suzanne Robison, 67, died June 1, 1999, at Verde Valley Medical Center in Cottonwood, Ariz.
She was born Oct. 5, 1931, in Reno, Nev., to Leonard H. and Lydia D. (Brumblay) Winer.
She and her husband, Roger, moved to Prescott, Ariz., from Ollala in 1983. She had been a teacher with the school system in Sparks, Nev., for nine months.
Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Denise Robison of Tucson, Ariz., and Marcella Moran of Bremerton; and a brother, Gene Winer of Santa Clara, Calif.
A service will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Prescott Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, 945 Rancho Vista Drive in Prescott. Arrangements are under the direction of Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home.

Lawrence Zoller
Lawrence Paul Zoller, 46, of Port Orchard died June 13, 1999, at Madigan Army Hospital in Tacoma.
He was born Aug. 4, 1952, in Rapid City, S.D. He had lived in Port Orchard for five years.
Mr. Zoller was a retired Navy musician, radioman and legalman. He had been a Catholic lay leader aboard USS Sacramento and served aboard USS America during the Gulf War.
He was a member of the Naval Reserve in Sioux Falls, S.D. He received the Navy Achievement Medal with gold star.
As a civilian, he worked as a music teacher, a tour bus driver and a substitute school bus driver.
Mr. Zoller was active in Boy Scouts. He was a member of St. Gabriel Catholic Church in Port Orchard, where he participated in the choir and served as a substitute cantor.
Survivors include his wife, Valerie; three sons, Paul, Michael and Nicholas; his parents, Mary and Paul Zoller of Oklahoma; his grandmother, Dorothy Weber of Florida; two brothers, Don of Kansas and Ed of Tacoma; and three sisters, Zita Catherine of Sumner, Renee Ducheneaux of Oklahoma, and Krista Spear of Tennessee.
A memorial Mass will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at St. Gabriel Catholic Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Haven of Rest Funeral Home in Gig Harbor.

John Rork
John K. Rork, 74, of Silverdale died June 14, 1999, at his home.
He was born Oct. 26, 1924, in Galesburg, Ill., to Wilbur G. and May (Schwartz) Rork. He grew up in Abingdon, Ill., graduating from Abingdon High School in 1942.
He married
Betty L. Clark on Jan. 1, 1946, in Galesburg.
Mr. Rork served in the Navy from 1942 to 1972, retiring as a commander from the Naval Inactive Ships Maintenance Facility in Bremerton. He served tours of duty in Rio de Janeiro; Kodiak, Alaska; Yokosuka, Japan; Hawaii; and Jim Creek radio facility near Arlington, Wash. He was awarded the Navy Commendation Medal and the National Defense Service Medal.
He also was retired from 11 years with the Bremerton School District, where he worked in audio-visual maintenance. He retired from the district in 1986.
Mr. Rork was a member of St. Luke's United Methodist Church in Bremerton.
Survivors include his wife; a son, John Jr. of Seabeck; two daughters, Cynthia McLean of Bremerton and Christine Rockwell of Federal Way; a brother, Charles of Santa Fe Springs, Calif.; a sister, Florence Kelly of Galesburg; and eight grandchildren, Donald Rockwell of Kent; Jennifer Doll and John Rockwell, both of Seattle, Meagan Rockwell of Virginia, Kevin McLean of the University of Notre Dame, Katie McLean of Bremerton and Sara and Ian Rork, both of Seabeck.
Services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Miller-Woodlawn Funeral Home.
Jeanette Gee
Jeanette Lucile Wetzel Reynolds Gee, 88, of Bremerton died June 15, 1999, at her home.
She was born Nov. 13, 1910, in Laramie, Wyo., to Arthur Wayland and Mary Edith (Stanley) Kingman. She grew up in Laramie, graduating from Laramie High School.
She married
Charles A. Wetzel in 1929. He preceded her in death in 1940.
She married
John Reynolds in 1947. He preceded her in death in 1988.
She married
Clifford Gee on July 7, 1990, in Bremerton. He preceded her in death in 1997.
She had been a homemaker, a Swedish massage therapist and a licensed nurse practitioner at Harrison Hospital, working in the nursery.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Ward One, in Bremerton, the Senior Singers, the Nipsic Hi Steppers and the Bremerton Nurses Association.
Survivors include a son, Robert Reynolds of Canby, Ore.; two daughters, Lawan Morrison and Jona Reynolds, both of Bremerton; 13 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and three great-greatgrandchildren. She also was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Beverly Lee, this year.
Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 2225 Perry Ave. in Bremerton. A funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. at the same location. Interment
will be at Miller-Woodlawn Memorial Park.

Helen Morrison
Helen Louise Pulley Morrison, 74, of Port Orchard died June 13 at Forest Ridge Health and Rehabilitation Center in Bremerton of natural causes after a long illness.
She was born Sept. 17, 1924, in Long Beach, Calif., to Leonard C. and Frances A. (Henderson) Pulley. She grew up in Long Beach, graduating from Long Beach Polytechnic High School in the early 1940s.
She also attended Woodbury College in Los Angeles, Long Beach City College and Long Beach State College.
She married
Ronald L. Morrison Sr. on May 28, 1967, in Las Vegas.
She worked in the secretarial field for 40 years, retiring as a legal secretary in 1979. While working at Long Beach Naval Shipyard, she received the Meritorious Civilian Service Award from the Department of the Navy in September 1975.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Stephen Newman of Santa Ana, Calif.; two stepsons, Loren Morrison of Whidbey Island and Rory Morrison of Texas; a daughter, Diana Newman of Port Orchard; a stepdaughter, Leianne Cavness of Bentonville, Ark.; two grandsons, Stephen Newman of Sacramento, Calif., and Michael Hurley of Port Orchard; 12 stepgrandchildren, Don Morrison of Dallas, Michelle Hummel of Minnesota, Nina Morrison of Bremerton, Nathan Morrison of Sumner, Marshall, Lee, Heather and Heidi Morrison, all of Oak Harbor, Dawna Farnsworth and Kelly Bloomenkamp, both of Arkansas, and Misty and Christina Morrison.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Loyal Pulley, and a stepson, Ronald Morrison Jr., in 1991.
A memorial service will be at 4 p.m. Saturday at Unity Church of Bremerton, 1712 Trenton Ave. Arrangements are under the direction of Kitsap Cremation & Burial Society.

Lillie Wilson
Lillie E. Wilson, 92, of Port Orchard died June 13, 1999, at Ridgemont Terrace Convalescent Center in Port Orchard.
She was born Dec. 17, 1906, in Fargo, Okla., to Neddie G. and Nancy P. (Killian) Wilson. She grew up in Branson, Colo., graduating from high school there.
She married
Fred L. Wilson on Dec. 17, 1925, in Salem, Ore. He preceded her in death in 1977.
She worked as a cook at Givens Elementary School in Port Orchard for 23 years, retiring in 1963. She also was a homemaker.
Survivors include two daughters, Ruth Gathe of Silverdale and Ferne Richmond of Port Orchard; seven grandchildren, Linda Richmond of Whidbey Island, Stephen Richmond of Port Orchard, George Richmond of Elma, Barbara Main of Enumclaw, Douglas Richmond of Corvallis, Ore., and Cheryl Harrison and Teresa Pratt, both of Bremerton; and 14 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and six brothers and sisters.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Pendleton-Gilchrist Funeral Home at Rill Chapel. Interment
will be at Sunset Lane cemetery with a private family graveside service.
