Grace Huetter
Grace Ann Huetter, 89, of Poulsbo died June 11, 1999, at Martha & Mary Health Center.
She was born March 29, 1910, in Seattle to William and Grace Anne (Boyle) Rohrbach. She grew up in Seattle, graduating from Holy Names Academy (Normal School) in 1928.
She married
Henry A. Huetter. He preceded her in death in 1967.
She was a member of Friends of Fircrest and volunteered with Providence Hospital in Seattle.
Survivors include two sons, Henry of Poulsbo and Thomas of Everett; two daughters, Ann Johnson of Washington, D.C., and Jean Bartholomew of Mentor, Ohio; six grandchildren, David and Tim Johnson, Samuel and Rachel Bartholomew and Ryan and Conal Huetter. She also was preceded in death by a son, John.
A rosary and visitation will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Olaf's Catholic Church in Poulsbo, followed by a funeral Mass at 11 a.m.
Interment will be at Calvary cemetery in Seattle at 11 a.m. Friday. Arrangements are under the direction of Miller-Woodlawn Funeral Home.

Jean McDaniel
Jean Lee McDaniel, 71, of Bremerton died June 14, 1999, at the Washington Veterans Home at Retsil of complications of diabetes.
Born June 13, 1928, in California, Mo., he grew up in Jefferson City, Mo., and served for a year with the U.S. Navy at the end of World War II.
He then went to work for Chrysler Corp., where he worked for many years.
He moved to the Pacific Northwest in 1965, where he went to work for Ford Motor Co.
He married
Margaret Abadia in 1973 in Vancouver, Wash., and they moved to Kitsap County in 1976. Mr. McDaniel worked for Hunter Homes in Gorst until his retirement.
He was a member of Kitsap Golf and Country Club and a charter member of the Central Kitsap Kiwanis.
Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Christy Baldwin of West Linn, Ore., Kelly Feasler of Portland, Ore., and Lauri Stroud of Oakland, Calif.; a son, Steven McDaniel of Tualatin, Ore.; a brother, C.W. McDaniel of Jefferson City; a sister, Charlotte Karr of California, Mo.; and five grandchldren.
He was preceded in death by one grandchild.
A service will be 1 p.m.Saturday at Miller-Woodlawn Funeral Home.
A reception will follow at 2 p.m. at the Kitsap Golf and Country Club.

Michael Hartman
Former Bremerton resident Michael David Hartman, 33, of Everett died June 2, 1999, at his home of complications of cancer.
He was born July 23, 1965, in Richland to Lance and Margaret Marie (Ruppert) Hartman. He grew up in Bremerton, graduating from Olympic High School in 1983.
Mr. Hartman received a degree in mechanical engineering from Ohio State University in 1988. He also attended Olympic College in Bremerton, Boise State University in Boise, Idaho, and pursued graduate study in civil engineering at Purdue University and at Washington State University.
He served in the Air Force from 1983 to 1991, participating in both Operation Desert Shield and Operation Desert Storm. He achieved the rank of staff sergeant. He received numerous military honors, including two Bronze Stars.
Mr. Hartman had been a facilities engineer with The Boeing Co. in Everett for three years.
He is survived by his parents; a sister, Christine Jenkins of Richland; and his grandmother, Mary Hartman of Kennewick.
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Elks Lodge 1181, 4131 Pine Road in Bremerton. Arrangements are under the direction of Kass Funeral Home on Bainbridge Island.

Irene Middleton
Irene Joyce Middleton, 88, of Port Orchard died June 14, 1999, at Port Orchard Care Center.
She was born March 24, 1911, in Point Roberts to Charles F. and Emma D. (Teller) Gifford. She grew up in Washington.
She was a homemaker.
Survivors include a son, Alan Middleton of Belfair; three daughters, Sheila Harper of Silverdale, Sharon Smith of Bend, Ore., and Susan Middleton of Belfair; 11 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Private arrangements are under the direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel. Cremation is under the direction of Cherry Grove Crematory in Poulsbo.

Eileen Stewart
Eileen F. Stewart, 78, of Bremerton died June 14, 1999, at Naval Hospital Bremerton.
She was born Sept. 17, 1920, in St. Louis, Mo.
Survivors include her husband, William P. Stewart; a daughter, Carol Schlosser; a stepdaughter, Kathryn Stewart; two grandchildren, Dianne Sypnieski and Randy Georges; and four great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be at Naval Hospital Bremerton Chapel at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of American Memorial, Bremerton.
Charles DeRouen
Charles Lee DeRouen, 62, of Port Orchard died June 13, 1999, in Port Orchard.
He was born Feb. 23, 1937, in Lake Arthur, La.
He married
Eileen Mae Jones on April 5, 1957, in Kitsap County.
Mr. DeRouen served in both the Navy and the Air Force. He was a mechanic for the Kitsap County Road Department.
Survivors include his wife; his mother, Vina DeRouen of Houston, Texas; a daughter, Cindy Lucas of Silvana, Wash.; three sons, Derek of Mount Vernon, Chris of Arlington and Stacy of Port Orchard; two brothers, Donnie and Leroy, both of Houston; two sisters, Terresa Hadley of Houston and Tina Roberts of Dallas; and eight grandchildren.
Visitation will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Westpark Christian Church, First Street and Auto Center Way, in Bremerton. A funeral service will follow at 11 a.m.

Dorothy MacLay
Dorothy Isabel MacLay, 90, of Kingston died June 12, 1999, at Harrison Hospital.
She was born Aug. 14, 1908, in Kent to Duncan and Rachel (Macdonald) MacDonald. She grew up in Seattle, graduating from Garfield High School.
She married
Nelson MacLay in October 1939 in Seattle. He preceded her in death in 1994.
Survivors include three sons, Charles of Kingston, Malcolm of Duncan, Ariz., and Bruce of Bainbridge Island; a sister, Alice Bothwell of Seattle; 11 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Arrangements are under the direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel. Cremation is under the direction of Cherry Grove Crematory in Poulsbo.

Timothy Griffieth
Timothy Barnard Griffieth, 37, of Seattle died June 9, 1999, in Seattle after a long illness.
He was born June 18, 1961, in Greenville, S.C., to Peggy J. (Miles) Bradford. He grew up in Fairfield, Calif., and in Bremerton, graduating from Fairfield High School in 1980.
Survivors include his mother; a brother, Jeffrey of Port Orchard; and his grandparents, the Rev. Allen and Mamie Miles. He was preceded in death by his father, Willie C. Griffieth, in 1985.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to noon Thursday at Miller-Woodlawn Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow.
Michael Every
Michael John Every, 46, of Poulsbo died June 12, 1999, at his home.
He was born Sept. 12, 1952, in Billings, Mont., to John F. and Jeannie I. (McClurg) Every. He grew up in Seattle, graduating from Queen Anne High School.
Mr. Every worked as an assistant cook.
He is survived by a sister, Deborah Collett of Silverdale.
Private burial will be at Miller-Woodlawn Memorial Park. Arrangements are under the direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel.

Lawrence Zoller
Lawrence Paul Zoller, 46, of Port Orchard died June 13, 1999, at Madigan Army Hospital in Tacoma.
He was born Aug. 4, 1952, in Rapid City, S.D. He had lived in Port Orchard for five years.
Mr. Zoller was a retired Navy musician, radioman and legalman. He had been a Catholic lay leader aboard USS Sacramento and served aboard USS America during the Gulf War. He was a member of the Naval Reserve in Sioux Falls, S.D.
As a civilian, he worked as a music teacher, a tour bus driver and a substitute school bus driver.
Mr. Zoller was active in Boy Scouts. He was a member of St. Gabriel Catholic Church in Port Orchard, where he participated in the choir and served as a substitute cantor.
Survivors include his wife, Valerie; three sons, Paul, Michael and Nicholas; his parents, Mary and Paul Zoller of Oklahoma; his grandmother, Dorothy Weber of Florida; two brothers, Dan of Kansas and Ed of Tacoma; and three sisters, Zita Catherine of Sumner, Renee Ducheneaux of Oklahoma, and Krista Spear of Tennessee.
A memorial Mass will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at St. Gabriel Catholic Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Haven of Rest Funeral Home in Gig Harbor.
