Curt Moser
Curt Moser, 64, of Silverdale died July 12, 1999, at his home after a brief illness.
He was born Oct. 11, 1934, in Union City, Mich., to Vernon and Mildred (Austin) Moser. He grew up in Union City and in Battle Creek, Mich.
He graduated from Union City High School in 1951. He later attended Anderson College in Anderson, Ind.
He married
Kathy Hill on Nov. 26, 1965, in San Francisco.
Mr. Moser served in the Navy from 1953 to 1977. He was a lieutenant commander aboard USS Kitty Hawk.
He spent many years in the field of real estate locally, including 15 years with Silverdale Realty and more than four with Bottom Line Real Estate, which he co-founded.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Melissa Moser Claeys of Silverdale; a brother, Marvin of Lake Wales, Fla.; a sister, Merry Johnston of Battle Creek; and grandchildren Spencer, Mackenzie and Julia Claeys, all of Silverdale.
At his request, there will be no services. Arrangements are under the direction of Poulsbo Mortuary, The Stone Chapel.

Alice Brannan
Alice Josephine Brannan, 89, of Bremerton died July 12, 1999, at Belmont Terrace Convalescent Center in Bremerton.
She was born Sept. 5, 1909, in Portland, Ore., to John and Pearl (Yeigh) Fender. She graduated from Union High School in Bremerton in 1927.
She married
Earl "Red" Brannan on July 30, 1927, in Bremerton. He preceded her in death on Feb. 27, 1990.
Mrs. Brannan was a homemaker all of her life.
Survivors include a daughter-in-law, Lorene of Bremerton; grandchildren Bruce, Roxane Konkle, Claudia Stonecipher, Melody Carter and Chris Patterson; 12 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m. today at Forest Lawn cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel.
Memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
Rita Fuhrman
Rita Marie Fuhrman, 66, of Silverdale died July 15, 1999, in Silverdale.
She was born Jan. 24, 1933, in Kalamazoo, Mich., to Roy and Corrine (McDonald) Baugh. She grew up in Kalamazoo, graduating from St. Augustine High School.
She married
Richard E. Fuhrman on June 30, 1951, in Kalamazoo.
Mrs. Fuhrman organized and developed Stephen Ministries at Holy Trinity Parish, where she was a member of the Ladies Guild. She was the recipient of a medal of merit from the Knights of Columbus for her spiritual and community work. She was a member of the Good Sams local chapter (SK Sams).
Survivors include her husband; a son, Stephen of Gig Harbor; daughters, Sandra Salinas of Woodinville and Linda Harris of Silverdale; grandchildren Janel of Bellevue, Kathleen and Jeff of Woodinville, Brooke and Nicole, both of Gig Harbor, Jamie of Bullhead City, Ariz. and Kim of Henderson, Nev. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Deborah Norris.
Visitation will be at 7 p.m. Sunday at Holy Trinity Catholic Church. A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, also at Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Miller-Woodlawn Funeral Home.
Bill Tibbits
William S. "Bill" Tibbits, 72, of Port Orchard died July 13, 1999, at Harrison Hospital.
He was born Sept. 1, 1926, in Lakewood, N.J. He grew up in New Jersey and Florida.
Mr. Tibbits graduated from the University of California-Los Angeles. He served in the Marine Corps.
He was a psychologist at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Seattle.
Survivors include his fiancee, Edna Schauer of Port Orchard; and a son, Bill Bullsworth of North Carolina.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. today, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to noon Saturday.
Inurnment will take place at Sunset Lane cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Pendleton-Gilchrist at Rill Chapel.
Red Martin
John Arthur "Red" Martin, 83, of Marysville, and formerly of Bremerton, died July 5, 1999, at Marysville Care Center.
He was born Feb. 6, 1916, in Coulee City. In 1919, he moved with his family to Bremerton.
Mr. Martin grew up in Bremerton, graduating from Bremerton High School.
He worked as a pipefitter at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard for 15 years.
He married
Martha Dahl in 1939. In 1965, they moved to Snohomish County, residing in Arlington and Marysville.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Jerry of Marysville; daughters, Deanna Hydorn and Judy Cartwright, both of Marysville; a brother, William of Bremerton; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Marysville First Assembly of God, 47th and Grove.
Danielle Lieberman
Danielle Lieberman, 34, formerly of Indianola, died June 25, 1999, at her home in University Place.
She was born in Pasadena, Texas and had lived in Bradenton, Fla., before moving to Washington.
In Bradenton, she worked in banking for 14 years. She was a member of the Baptist church.
Survivors include her mother, Jean Lanin of Indianola; her father, George Walker of Camden, S.C.; brothers, Scott Walker of China, John Walker of Port Orchard and Trey Walker of Lugoff, S.C.
Services were held in Port Orchard. A memorial wake was held in Bradenton.
Mae Catherine Kluge
Mae Catherine Kluge, 78, of Bremerton died July 10, 1999, in La Center. following a motor vehicle accident.
She was born March 16, 1921, in Howells, Neb., to Theodore and Catherine (Langhorst) Wegener. She grew up in Madison, Neb., graduating from Liberty High School there.
She married
Herman Kluge on Sept. 1, 1951, in Bremerton. He preceded her in death in 1988.
Mrs. Kluge had worked in the dispensary at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard before her marriage.
A homemaker, she had also been employed by the Bremerton School District for many years and, more recently, by the St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Store for eight years.
She was an active member of Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church in Bremerton for more than 50 years.
She was a member of the Rosary Makers Club, the Altar Society and the West Side Improvement Club.
Survivors include a son, Steven of Bremerton; daughters, Catherine Johnson of St. Louis, Mo., and Jeannie Roberts and Sheridan Kluge, both of Vancouver, Wash.; a brother, Paul Wegener of Rochester, Minn.; two sisters, Verona Hartman of Littleton, Colo. and Alvina Wegener of Vancouver, Wash.; and two grandchildren, Emily and Hilary Johnson, both of St. Louis.
Visitation will take place at 6 p.m. Thursday at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church, followed by a rosary at 7 p.m.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church.
Arrangements are under the direction of Miller-Woodlawn Funeral Home and Memorial Park.
Patricia Plaisance
Patricia Carolyn Plaisance, 74, of Bremerton died July 11, 1999, at Harrison Hospital.
She was born Dec. 10, 1924, in Vancouver, Wash., to Thomas W. and Mary Carolyn (Dignam) Hyer. She spent her early years in Port Angles and Bremerton, graduating from Bremerton High School in 1942.
She married
Jack Searle on June 25, 1944, in Santa Maria, Calif. He preceded her in death in May 1978.
She married
Richard T. Plaisance on Oct. 28, 1978, in Bremerton.
Mrs. Plaisance worked for the Bremerton Housing Authority for 28 years, retiring in 1982. She had been a member of the Lady Lions and Altrusa.
Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Nancy Koch of Bremerton; two stepdaughters, Karen Young of Baltimore, Md., and Gale Holte of Bremerton; a stepson, Bruce of Bremerton; and four grandchildren.
Visitation was held Tuesday at Lewis Funeral Chapel. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. today at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Bremerton. A graveside service will follow at Forest Lawn cemetery.

Douglas Thomas
Douglas Vernon Thomas, 41, of Keyport died July 10, 1999, at his home.
He was born Sept. 16, 1957, in Minneapolis, Minn., to Vernon and Muriel (Sorenson) Thomas. He grew up in East Grand Forks, Minn., graduating from Sacred Heart High School in 1976, and from the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, N.D., in 1980.
Mr. Thomas had been an electrical engineer at the Naval Undersea Warfare Engineering Station at Keyport for 18 years.
He was active in the Mountaineers.
Survivors include his companion, Clarissa Shoecraft; his father; a daughter, Bejonty of Keyport; two brothers, Mike of Grand Forks, N.D., and Steve of East Grand Forks, Minn.; and two sisters, Ann of Watertown, S.D., and Mary of Columbus, Ga. He was preceded in death by his mother in 1996.
Visitation will take place from 3 to 7 p.m. today at Miller-Woodlawn Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, also at Miller-Woodlawn.
Carrie Garcia-Willis
Carrie Cathrine Garcia-Willis, 52, of Port Orchard died June 29, 1999, in Bremerton.
She was born May 24, 1947, in Tacoma to Newton Isaac and Barbara (Graham) Willis. She grew up in Parkland, Wash. and in Gig Harbor, graduating from Peninsula High School.
Survivors include her mother, Barbara Lesher of Port Orchard; two sons, Jason Armstrong and Gordon Milliron, both of Port Orchard; two brothers, Edwin Ewing and Steven Willis, both of Port Orchard; and two grandchildren, Kathrine Armstrong and Zachary Armstrong, both of Port Orchard. Her father preceded her in death in 1966.
A graveside service will be held at 4 p.m. July 21, 1999, at Sunset Lane cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Pendleton-Gilchrist Funeral Home at Rill Chapel.
