Robert Mulnix
Robert F. Mulnix, 78, of Bremerton died Oct. 17, 1999, at Belmont Terrace Convalescent Center.
He was born June 19, 1921, in Bremerton to Forrest and Ethel Mulnix.
He married
Kathleen Humphrey on April 16, 1943, in Seattle.
Mr. Mulnix served in the Army during World War II and in Korea, retiring as a captain.
He owned and operated Bay Bowling Lanes in Bremerton for more than 50 years.
He was a lifetime member of Elks Lodge 1181 in Bremerton.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Robert II of Bremerton; a daughter, Patricia White of Bremerton; five grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, Eileen Verhoye.
At his request, there will be no services.

Jack Sutman
John D. "Jack" Sutman, 46, of Bremerton died Oct. 13, 1999, in Bremerton of cancer.
He was born May 14, 1953, in Decatur, Ill., to Frank D. and Mary E. (Goss) Sutman. He grew up in Decatur and in Bremerton, attending Stephen Decatur High School.
Mr. Sutman served in the Army and the Navy for six years. He was discharged from the Navy in 1981.
He worked for National Furniture in Bremerton for a number of years, and more recently was employed by Arrow Taxi.
Survivors include his mother, now of Bremerton, and a brother, Roger, of Port Orchard. He was preceded in death by his father in 1975, and by a brother, Richard "Dick, " in 1970.
Services are pending.

Marjorie Jones
Marjorie C. Jones, 85, of Bremerton died Oct. 17, 1999, at Bremerton Convalescent and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born June 21, 1914, in Portland, Ore. She was raised and educated in West Seattle, graduating from West High School in 1932.
She lived in West Seattle until the early 1970s. She later resided in Copalis Beach, Paradise Bay and Port Townsend before coming to Bremerton in 1997.
She married
Cyril H. Jones in Seattle in 1936. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Larry of Silverdale and Ric of Bainbridge Island; a sister, Dorothy Walmer of Bellingham; and four grandchildren, Shannon Jones Connelly, Bryan, Brady and Ryan.
A private family gathering will take place. Arrangements are under the direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel.
Margaret Zukowski
Margaret L. Zukowski, 88, of Bremerton died Oct. 16, 1999, at Forest Ridge Health and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born Oct. 2, 1911, in Seattle. She was raised and educated in Bremerton, graduating from Bremerton High School in 1930.
She married
Chester Zukowski on June 27, 1942, in Bremerton.
A homemaker, Mrs. Zukowski had worked at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard from 1936 to 1952, retiring as supervisor of Central Files.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Michael of Phoenix; and a brother, Carl Qualheim of Richland.
A memorial service is planned for 1 p.m. Thursday at Lewis Funeral Chapel with a reception following. Private interment will take place at Ivy Green cemetery.

Jordyn Kramer
Jordyn Sierra Kramer, the daughter of Jeffery and Christie (Knutson) Kramer, was stillborn Oct. 14, 1999, at Harrison Hospital.
Survivors include her parents; a brother, Matthew Edmison of Covington; and her grandparents, Warren Kramer of Bremerton and Robert and Diane Knutson of Chimacum.
No services are planned. Arrangements are under the direction of Miller-Woodlawn Funeral Home.
Jack Potter
Jack Gene Potter, 65, of Silverdale died Oct. 15, 1999, in Silverdale.
He was born Jan. 20, 1934, in Weatherford, Okla., to Chester and Leova (Sanders) Potter. He grew up in Long Beach, Calif., graduating from Banning High School.
Mr. Potter served in the Air Force from 1951 to 1955. He was a staff sergeant stationed in Ulm, Germany.
He married
Rachel Franklin on April 7, 1956, in Long Beach.
Mr. Potter was a field engineer for Northrop for 24 years, later working as a private contractor and builder from 1979 until this year.
He attended Olympic College in Bremerton.
He was a deacon at Trinity Missionary Baptist Church in Bremerton.
Survivors include his wife; his father, now of Silverdale; three daughters, Angela Maier of Grass Valley, Calif., Sheri Kinsey of Silverdale and Sheila of Bremerton; a brother, Leon of Anaheim, Calif.; and eight grandchildren, Amber, Justin and John Maier, Krista Kinsey, Nicholas Kettner and Shain, Natasha and Angelica Perry.
Visitation will be from 2 to 5 p.m. today at Miller-Woodlawn Funeral Home. A funeral service is planned for 2 p.m. Wednesday, also at Miller-Woodlawn.

Donald Nelson
Donald Raymond Nelson, 85, of Bremerton died
Oct. 16, 1999, at Harrison Hospital.
He was born Jan. 9, 1914, in McCammon, Idaho, to Lawrence A. and Madora (Raymond) Nelson. He graduated from high school in McCammon.
He married
Doris Nuttal on Dec. 30, 1939, in Downey, Idaho.
Mr. Nelson was a welder at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard. He was retired.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Barry of Lynnwood; three brothers, Richard of McCammon, Howard of Pocatello, Idaho, and David of Soda Springs, Idaho; a sister, Bertha Hix of Pocatello; and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Ronald.
Visitation will be from 1 to 5 p.m. today at Lewis Funeral Chapel. A funeral service is planned for 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on Perry Avenue in Bremerton. Burial will take place at Forest Lawn cemetery.
Nana Ness
Waneve L. "Nana" Ness, 77, of Bremerton died Oct. 1, 1999, at her home. She had lived in Kitsap County for 45 years.
She was born Sept. 8, 1922, in Salisaw, Okla., to Roy and Flora (Peters) Knox.
She married
Neil C. Ness on April 24, 1945, in Reno, Nev.
A homemaker, Mrs. Ness had been a receptionist at Bremerton Chiropractic Center from 1956 until her retirement in 1971.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Tom of Bremerton and Terry of Portland, Ore.; three grandchildren, Brent of the Air Force in Italy, Jessica of Western Washington University, and John of Portland. She was preceded in death by a son, Timothy.
A memorial service is planned for 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 23, at Kitsap Lake Baptist Church.

Lee Fisher
Ronald L. "Lee" Fisher, 61, of Bremerton died Oct. 11, 1999, at his home.
He was born June 3, 1938, in Wapato. He grew up in Bremerton, attending school here.
Mr. Fisher served in the Navy for four years. He was retired from a career as a medic in Seattle.
Survivors include his companion, Joyce Risher; his mother, Evelyn Fisher of Poulsbo; a son, Ronald II of Los Angeles; two daughters, Diana Foster of Port Orchard and Rebecca Lanham of Federal Way; a sister, Marilyn Brooks of Poulsbo; and four grandchildren.
At his request, there will be no services.
June Hansen
June Bjorklund Hansen, 81, of Poulsbo died Oct. 15, 1999, at Martha & Mary Nursing Home.
She was born June 1, 1918, in Seattle. She grew up in Ballard and graduated from Ballard High School in 1936.
She married
William Hansen in 1968 in Elma.
Mrs. Hansen was a homemaker and a life member of the Poulsbo Sons of Norway. She enjoyed playing the violin.
She is survived by a son, William Bjorklund of Kennewick; two daughters, Diane Hill of Elma and Lori Bjorklund of Seattle; two step-daughters, Kathy Denune of Los Angeles and Mary Rushton of Port Townsend; 12 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Judy Doman, in 1994.
A private family service will be held. Arrangements are by Poulsbo Mortuary, the Stone Chapel at Cherry Grove Memorial Park.
