Inger Olsen
Inger M. Olsen, 76, of Poulsbo died Dec. 25, 1999, at Harrison Hospital of congestive heart failure.
She was born March 1, 1923, in Denmark, to Anton and Sisne (Glausen) Skjodt. She grew up in Copenhagen, Denmark, graduating from Copenhagen High School in 1939.
She married
Einar Olsen on Oct. 21, 1944, in Malmo, Sweden.
Mrs. Olsen was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Naomi Lodge in Virginia and the Danish Sisterhood in Seattle. She had been a volunteer in the thrift shop at Children's Hospital in Bellevue.
Survivors include her husband; one son, Kent of Poulsbo; two brothers, Frede and Erik Skjodt, both of Denmark; and one grandson, Kent Olsen Jr. of Richmond, Va.
A memorial service is planned for 2 p.m. Jan. 30 at her home in Poulsbo. Inurnment will take place in Copenhagen on Feb. 23. Arrangements are under the direction of Kitsap Cremation and Burial Society.

Judith LaJune
Judith Moore LaJune, 59, of Kingston died Dec. 29, 1999, at Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle of cancer.
She was born July 30, 1940, in Port Gamble to Leland and Rhoda (Kruger) Hebblethwaite. She grew up in Seattle, graduating from Queen Anne High School in 1958.
She had worked most recently in telephone banking for one year with Washington Mutual in Bothell. Previously, she worked 10 years in the payroll department of Sea Galley in Mountlake Terrace.
She married
Milton LaJune on June 18, 1988, in Port Hadlock.
Survivors include her husband; one son, Michael Hoffman of Port Orchard; one daughter, Susan Cook of Poulsbo; two stepsons, Wayne and Cary LaJune, both of Everett; one stepdaughter, Gail LaJune of Bothell; one sister, Patsy Wuertz of Largo, Fla.; two grandchildren, Jennifer Hoffman of Port Orchard and Aaron Cook of Poulsbo; and two stepgrandchildren, Michelle and Katelyn LaJune, both of Everett.
A memorial service in Kingston will be scheduled at a later date. Her ashes will be scattered over Puget Sound at 9 a.m. Jan. 22. Arrangements are under the direction of Bleitz Funeral Home in Seattle.

Leah Braget
Leah Emmy Roseann Braget, 18, of Bremerton died Jan. 8, 2000, in Riverside, Calif.
She was born March 27, 1981, in Bremerton to Vicki Carson and Dale Braget. She grew up in Bremerton, attending Bremerton High School and Olympic College.
She had worked at Carter's Nursery in Bremerton in the summer of 1994 and on a fishing boat, the Northern Hawk, last summer.
Survivors include her parents; one brother, Vern Hoskins of Bremerton; three sisters, Tina Keene of Kingston and Julie and Jamie Braget, both of Bremerton; and nieces Lena Andrews and Shawnda Hoskins of Kingston.
An open house celebrating Leah's life will be held from 1 to 8 p.m. today at her mother's home, 1201 Oyster Bay Ave. S, Apt. A, in Bremerton.

Cecelia Kirkman
Cecelia Beatrice Kirkman, 96, of Poulsbo died Jan. 10, 2000, at Liberty Shores in Poulsbo.
She was born July 15, 1903, in South Bend, Wash., to Vincent and Annie (McCormick) Kirkman. She grew up in South Bend, graduating from South Bend High School in 1922.
After high school she was employed in office work. Later, she became a homemaker.
She married
Robert Kirkman on Oct. 24, 1923, at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in South Bend. He preceded her in death in 1978.
Survivors include her daughter-in-law, Jerry Kirkman of Poulsbo; three grandchildren, Thomas Kirkman of Redmond, Teresa Hamilton of Port Gamble and Nancy Breuer of Monroe; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a son, "Bud, " and daughters, Marjorie and Theresa.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, 1112 Blake St. in Raymond. Interment
will follow the Mass at Fern Hill cemetery in Menlo. Arrangements are under the direction of Poulsbo Mortuary, The Stone Chapel.

Vernon Warmbo
Vernon A. Warmbo, 83, of Port Orchard died Jan. 8, 2000, at home of a heart attack.
He was born Aug. 22, 1916, in Henning, Minn., to Axel and Ethel (Simonson) Warmbo. He grew up in Henning and in Grand Forks, N.D., graduating from high school in Grand Forks. He moved to Port Orchard in 1941.
Mr. Warmbo was a shipfitter at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard for 24 years, retiring in 1971. Previously, he had been employed at a paper mill in Port Townsend, as a shipfitter at a naval base in Adak, Alaska, and as a welder at Tacoma Boat Builders.
He was a former volunteer firefighter with the Port Orchard Fire Department.
He married
Jean Taylor on Feb. 9, 1994, in Parker, Ariz.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, Vernon of Federal Way, Donald of Allyn and Larry of Bremerton; two daughters, Cheryl Farner of Port Orchard and Donna Franklin of Olalla; one stepson, James Peterson of Port Orchard; two stepdaughters, Virginia Karst of Puyallup and Faith Creswell of Kent; one brother, Leland of Minneapolis; three sisters, Rosemarie Lish and Edith Kasperson, both of Minneapolis, and Dolly Penn of Medford, Ore.; 10 grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Virginia, in 1993, and by four grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled for 9 to 11 a.m. Monday at Pendleton-Gilchrist Funeral Home at Rill Chapel, with a funeral service at 11 a.m. Interment
will follow at Sunset Lane cemetery in Port Orchard.

Berta Fry
Berta A. Fry, 81, of Bremerton died Jan. 3, 2000, at her home of natural causes.
She was born May 8, 1918, in Klamath Falls, Ore., to Joseph and Venus (Thomas) Lloyd. She grew up in Imbler, Ore., graduating from Imbler High School in 1937.
She graduated from Eastern Oregon College in La Grande, Ore., in 1940 and from Central Washington University in Ellensburg in 1969.
She married
Raymond Fry in 1947 in Yakima. The couple divorced in 1969. He preceded her in death.
She was a teacher at Central Kitsap Elementary School for 15 years until her retirement.
She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi and Delta Kappa Theta.
Survivors include two sons, Lance of Kent and Eric of Gold Bar; one daughter, Kelle of Gaithersburg, Md.; two sisters, Celia Lloyd of Pendleton, Ore., and Laurel Boone of Lake Oswego, Ore.; and one grandson, Raymond of Orlando, Fla. She was preceded in death by a son, Alex, in 1952.
Arrangements are by Miller-Woodlawn Funeral Home.

John Sullivan
John E. Sullivan, 76, of Bremerton died Jan. 12, 2000, in Bremerton.
He was born March 16, 1923, in Holyoke, Mass., to John and Delia (Crean) Sullivan.
Mr. Sullivan served in the Navy from 1942 to 1945.
He married
Cecelia Szarek on April 6, 1944, in Massachusetts. She preceded him in death in 1979.
Survivors include one son, John III of California; one daughter, Mary Lou of Port Orchard; and three grandchildren, Jennifer Kapsch of Port Orchard and Michele and Julie Sullivan, both of California.
A funeral service is planned for 3 p.m. today at Miller-Woodlawn Chapel on the Hill. Interment
will take place at Holy Cross cemetery in Culver City, Calif., near Los Angeles.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Kitsap County.
Lois Wilkins
Former Port Orchard resident Lois Wilkins, 83, of Gig Harbor died Jan. 12, 2000, at Cottesmore of Life Care in Gig Harbor.
She was born June 30, 1916, in Havre, Mont., to Henry and Cora Smith. She grew up in the Olympia area.
She married
William Wilkins on June 5, 1937, in Olympia.
Mrs. Wilkins was a homemaker. She had been secretary of the Women's Auxiliary of the Port Orchard Yacht Club and a member of two orthopedic guilds in the Port Orchard area.
Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Lorinda of Seattle and Jennifer of Bellevue; two grandchildren, Jeffrey and Gregory Knox; and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled for 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday at Pendleton-Gilchrist Funeral Home at Rill Chapel. A funeral service is planned for 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, also at Rill Chapel. Interment
will take place at Tahoma National cemetery in Kent.
Bette Perucca
Bette L. Perucca, 77, of Poulsbo, formerly of Redmond, died Jan. 12, 2000.
She was born Dec. 6, 1922, in Cle Elum to John and Neoma Morrison. She grew up in the Cle Elum area, graduating from Easton High School.
She married
John Perucca in Seattle on Feb. 19, 1942. In 1981, they moved to Redmond and in 1997, to Poulsbo.
Mrs. Perucca had been employed as a cost accountant for The Boeing Co. until her retirement in 1983.
She was a member of Scandia Bible Church in Poulsbo.
Survivors include her husband of 57 years; two daughters, Terre Rottler of Poulsbo and Judy Perucca of Kettle Falls; and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, John, in 1990.
A memorial service is planned for 11 a.m. Saturday at Flintoft's Issaquah Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Children's Hospital Foundation, M/SCH-23, P.O. Box 5371, Seattle, WA 98105, or to a charity of the donor's choice.
Allan Loken
Allan Aubrey Loken, 69, of Manchester died Jan. 7, 2000, at Harrison Hospital of pneumonia.
He was born June 23, 1930, in Belview, Minn., to Steffen and Olina (Falaas) Loken. He grew up in Sacred Heart, Minn., attending South Sacred Heart Grade School.
Mr. Loken served in the Army from 1951 to 1953 as a corporal. He participated in the Korean War.
He served in the Air Force from 1956 to 1959 as an airman third class stationed in Germany. He also completed his GED while serving in the Air Force.
Mr. Loken attended Olympic College and completed an apprenticeship at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard in 1966. He worked as a shipfitter at PSNS in Shop 11 from 1961 to 1986, retiring after 25 years.
He also owned and operated the Windsor Hotel on First Street in Bremerton from 1965 to 1975. Previously, he worked for Conley Chemical in Spokane from 1959 to 1960.
He married
E. Jeanne Farnam Lane on Dec. 14, 1960, in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.
Survivors include his wife; one son, Allan Jr. of Seattle; one stepdaughter, June Lane Keller of Bremerton; one brother, Edwin of Hopkins, Minn.; three sisters, Verna Gullickson and Ellenore Knutson, both of Granite Falls, Minn., and Inga Hagen of Minnetonka, Minn.; two grandchildren, Lane Keller of Cashmere and Amy Keller Pheasant of Bremerton; and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled for 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 2 p.m. Friday, all at Pendleton-Gilchrist Funeral Home at Rill Chapel. Interment
with full military honors will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Tahoma National cemetery in Kent.

Joann Silva
Joann P. Silva, 68, of Bremerton died Jan. 8, 2000, at Later Years Adult Family Home in Bremerton after an extended illness.
She was born May 20, 1931, in Enumclaw to Ruben and Lily (Naslund) Bergh. She grew up in Gilberton, graduating from Central Kitsap High School in 1949.
She married
Glenn Allen of Bremerton in March 1952 in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. They divorced in 1974.
She married
Manuel Silva on July 10, 1977, in Bremerton. He preceded her in death in 1991.
She was a homemaker, a past member of the Manette Community Church and had been involved in the PTA and in Campfire Girls with her children.
Survivors include her former husband; two daughters, Darcy Phelps of Silverdale and Julie Cooper of Seabeck; one stepdaughter, Sue Sandahl; one brother, Duane Bergh of Silverdale; five grandchildren, Emily Phelps of Seattle, Erika and Evan Phelps, both of Silverdale, and Brittany and Jesse Cooper, both of Seabeck; and three stepgrandchildren, Lonnie Hushman and Tony and Michael Silva.
A memorial service is planned for 2 p.m. Saturday at Living Word Christian Center in Silverdale. Inurnment will take place at Miller-Woodlawn Memorial Park.
