Georgia Porter
Georgia L. Porter, 84, died of natural causes Dec. 6, 2000, at her Bremerton home.
She was born Aug. 22, 1916, in Oklahoma City.
She is survived by three nieces, Nonnie Ranstrom of Bremerton, Sheila Scoby of Seward, Alaska, and Nancy Van Drunen of Burnsville, Minn.
A memorial service is scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday at Cypress Gardens Assisted Living Center.
Memorial donations may be made to the Kitsap Humane Society, 9167 Dickey Road NW, Silverdale, WA 98383, or a charity of the donor's choice.

Phyllis Russell
Phyllis L. Russell, 65, of Bremerton died of natural causes Dec. 2, 2000, at her home.
She was born Aug. 2, 1935, in Crawfordville, Ind., to Bryan William Petro and Juanita Rosella (Paxton). She graduated from South Kitsap High School.
Mrs. Russell was a homemaker.
She is survived by a son, James W. Russell of Bremerton; two daughters, Ruth Jobes of Bremerton and Connie Babcock of Seattle; a brother, Duane Petro of Port Orchard; a grandchild; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Juanita Veit.
Services will be private. Arrangements are under the direction of Kitsap Cremation and Burial Society.

Stephanie Sobiecki
Stephanie Helen Sobiecki, 84, of Poulsbo died Dec. 7, 2000, at Martha & Mary Health Care Center.
She was born July 29, 1916, in Hamtramck, Mich., to Jacob and Bernice (Zyczynski) Muter. She graduated in 1934 from high school in Hamtramck.
She married John J. Sobiecki on May 28, 1938, in Hamtramck. He preceded her in death in 1978.
Mrs. Sobiecki was a homemaker. She served as secretary for the senior center in Poulsbo, and as president of the resident council of Martha & Mary Health Care Center.
She was a member of the Catholic church.
Survivors include a daughter, Alicia Jacobs of Poulsbo; a sister, Stella Gadawski of Detroit; two brothers, Joseph Muter of Warren, Mich., and Casmir Muter of Dearborn, Mich.; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She also was preceded in death by a daughter, Barbara Saracson, in 1983, and a sister, Helen Saj, in 1998.
A memorial service is planned for 10 a.m. Dec. 16 at Martha & Mary Health Care
Center, with inurnment at Forest Lawn cemetery in Bremerton. Arrangements are under the direction of Poulsbo Mortuary, The Stone Chapel.

Cherry Ingram
Cherry Lou Ingram, 61, died Dec. 7, 2000, at her Port Orchard residence.
She was born June 5, 1939, in Tabernash, Colo., to Julius and Nellie (Estes) Cross.
She was a 1957 graduate of Franklin High School in Stockton, Calif. She attended Delta College in Stockton, Southwestern Bible College in Oklahoma City and graduated in 1985 from Pacific Coast Bible College in Sacramento, Calif.
She married Norman W. Ingram on Oct. 27, 1967, in Stockton.
She was a shipping and receiving clerk with the Army Supply in Lathrop, Calif., until retiring in 1994. She then taught kindergarten at Nazarene Christian School in Stockton.
She enjoyed her grandchildren and reading. She was a member of the Belfair Assembly of God.
Survivors include her husband; her mother of Port Orchard; two daughters, Annette Revis and Andrea Ingram, both of Port Orchard; a brother, Jerry Cross of Belfair; four sisters, Jecquetta Baker and Jenell Cross, both of Port Orchard, Fern Brautcher of Albuquerque, N.M., and Beverly Hooper of Oklahoma City; and four grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. Monday at Pendleton-Gilchrist Funeral Home at Rill Chapel. A graveside service will follow at 11 a.m. at Sunset Lane cemetery. A memorial service will take place at 7 p.m. Monday at Belfair Assembly of God.

Anna Hahn
Anna M. Hahn, 95, of Bremerton died Dec. 6, 2000, at Bremerton Health and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born Sept. 20, 1905, in Buckskin, Ind., to Anton and Lydia (Korte) Baker. She attended Buckskin School.
Mrs. Hahn was a grocery store clerk in Elberfeld, Ind., and was a homemaker.
She was a member of the Blue Grass Senior Center in Indiana and Zion United Church of Christ in Elberfeld.
Survivors include a son, Fred Jr. of Port Orchard; three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Hahn, in 1981.
Visitation is scheduled from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Simpson-Volkman Funeral Home in Elberfeld, Ind. A funeral service is planned for 11 a.m. Saturday at Zion United Church of Christ in Elberfeld. Interment icon will take place at the church cemetery.
Local arrangements are under the direction of Pendleton-Gilchrist Funeral Home at Rill Chapel.
Memorial donations may be made to First Lutheran Church of Port Orchard, 2483 Mitchell Road SE, Port Orchard, WA 98366, or Zion United Church of Christ, Second and Elm, Elberfeld, IN 47613.

Sophie Robinson
Sophie Robinson, 86, of Bremerton died Dec. 6, 2000, in Bremerton.
She was born March 29, 1914, in Port Orchard to Tony and Grace (Grosso) Rossi.
She was a member of the Eastern Star Club. She enjoyed arts and crafts.
Survivors include two sons, Jack Archer of Renton and Ted Robinson of Belfair; a daughter, Barbara Knight of Bremerton; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Merrill J. "Robbie" Robinson, in 1992.
A funeral service is planned for 11 a.m. Tuesday at Miller-Woodlawn Funeral Home. Interment icon will be at Ivy Green cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to the Eastern Star, 878 Fifth St., Bremerton, WA 98337, or the Alzheimer's Association, Western and Central Chapter, 12721 30th Ave. NE, Suite 101, Seattle, WA 98125.

Zachory Welpman
Zachory Ryan Welpman was stillborn Nov. 19, 2000, at Harrison Hospital.
He is survived by his parents, Michael and Ladye (Childress) Welpman of Bremerton; a brother, Garret of the family home; and his grandparents, Ruben and Sandra Gutierrez of Anza, Calif.
Private services will be held. Arrangements are under the direction of Pendleton-Gilchrist Funeral Home at Rill Chapel.

Anne Everist
A. Anne Everist, 52, of Port Orchard died of a stroke Nov. 30, 2000, at Harborview Medical Center.
She was born Dec. 22, 1947, in Bremerton, to Bill and Ruth (Weisel) Everist. She attended South Kitsap High School and was a 1985 graduate of Olympic College.
Ms. Everist was a purchasing agent at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, Naval Supply Center for 15 years.
Survivors include two sons, Bill and Michael, both of Port Orchard; a daughter, D'Anne Cook; two brothers, Gary of Port Orchard and Jim of Bellevue; and four sisters, Kathie and Jeannie Everist, both of Port Orchard, Debbie Grayson of Melbourne, Fla., and Janice Johnsen of Seattle.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.

William Campbell
William R. Campbell, 83, of Bremerton died Dec. 3, 2000, at Forest Ridge Rehabilitation Center.
He was born April 20, 1917, in Anthony, Kan., to William T. and Alta P. (Gore) Campbell.
He married Ellen Mowry on May 10, 1940, in Reno, Nev. She preceded him in death in 1998.
Mr. Campbell worked at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard for 46 years, retiring in 1975.
He was a member of the Elks. He enjoyed golf and was a member of the Presbyterian church.
Survivors include a daughter, Donna Morgan of Shelton; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Inurnment will take place at Forest Lawn cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel.

Herbert Williams
Herbert N. Williams, 82, of Hoodsport died Dec. 5, 2000, at Mason General Hospital in Shelton.
He was born Feb. 26, 1918, in Port Angeles to Alpha and Verna (Fosdick) Williams. He attended school in Port Angeles.
He married Alice Walls in January 1958, in Seattle. She preceded him in death in 1988.
Mr. Williams served in the Army from 1941 to 1947.
He later worked for Great Northern Railroad and was a machinist at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, retiring in 1980.
He was a member of the Shriners in Bremerton. He enjoyed railroading.
He is survived by his companion, Cleo Parks of Port Orchard; and a daughter, Goldie Haldeman of Seattle.
Visitation is scheduled from 1 to 5 p.m. today and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at Pendleton-Gilchrist Funeral Home at Rill Chapel. Interment icon will take place at Sunset Lane cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to any Shrine hospital for children.

Paul Moore
Paul Bruce Moore, 83, of Bremerton died Nov. 29, 2000, at Belmont Terrace Convalescent Center.
He was born July 10, 1917, in Des Moines, Iowa, to Fred A. and Ola M. (Peak) Moore. He graduated from high school in Des Moines. He attended Colorado State Teachers College in Greeley, Colo., and graduated in 1964 from the University of Oregon.
Mr. Moore served in the Army Air Force Band during World War II.
He later was a professor of music at the University of Portland and in the Beaverton School District in Oregon.
He participated in community symphonies and volunteered for Meals on Wheels.
Survivors include two daughters, Suzanne Moore-Ullrich of Bremerton and Marilee Byers of Kirkland; one sister, Marjorie Medford of Fort Worth, Texas; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Verne and Donald; and two sisters, Gail Boothe and Catherine Woodman.
At his request, no service will be held. Cremation will take place at Cherry Grove Crematory in Poulsbo. Arrangements are under the direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel.
Memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.

Gloria Lobberegt
Gloria Vicki Lobberegt, 77, of Hansville died Dec. 1, 2000, in Seattle.
She was born Jan. 30, 1923, in Vancouver, British Columbia, to Christopher and Vera (Evanoff) Stamatis. She attended high school in Vancouver and graduated from the University of Washington.
She married Clifford E. Lobberegt on Aug. 4, 1947, in Seattle. He preceded her in death this year.
Mrs. Lobberegt was a teacher in the Mount Vernon area and in the Lake Washington School District for more than 30 years.
She was a member of the Episcopal church, the United States Power Squadron and the Poulsbo Yacht Club.
Survivors include a son, Clifford Jr. of El Cerrito, Calif.; two daughters, Vikki Lobberegt of Hansville and Kerry McCracken of Bellevue, Neb.; a sister, Shirley Keilty of Fairfax, Calif.; and four grandchildren.
Services will be held at a later date. Cremation will take place at Poulsbo Mortuary, The Stone Chapel.
Memorial donations may be made to the trauma unit at Harbor Medical Center.
