Joshua Kumar
Joshua Baza Kumar was stillborn Nov. 21, 2000, at Group Health Hospital in Seattle.
He was the son of Davinder Kumar and Zina Baza of Port Orchard.
Survivors include a brother, Roy Baza of Port Orchard; grandparents Roke and Maria Baza of Port Orchard and Mahgat Kumar and Ram Piare of India.
Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Monday at Sunset Lane cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Pendleton-Gilchrist Funeral Home at Rill Chapel.
Eric Webb
Eric E. Webb, 37, of Bremerton, died Nov. 15, 2000, at Tacoma General Hospital.
He was born Aug. 11, 1963, in Rockford, Ill., to Coley and Lillie (Reedy) Webb. He attended South Kitsap High School.
Mr. Webb worked as a cook at various restaurants for two years.
He enjoyed football.
Survivors include a son, Denzel; two daughters, Kayona and Lillie Webb; three brothers, Coley, Victor and Coledale; three sisters, Lucille Lowe, Laura Webb and Kathy Webb; and a grandmother, Lucille Dal.
Visitation is scheduled from 2 to 7 p.m. today at Miller-Woodlawn Funeral Home. A funeral service is planned for 11 a.m. Wednesday at Miller-Woodlawn Chapel. Inurnment will take place at Miller-Woodlawn Memorial Park.
Cleo Perry
Cleo D. Perry, 71, of Port Orchard died Nov. 18, 2000, at her home of a heart attack.
She was born Aug. 2, 1929, in Lincoln, Neb., to Jay and Estella (Harris) Thompson. She graduated from Peninsula High School in Gig Harbor.
She married
Duane H. Perry on Oct. 14, 1950, in Tacoma.
Mrs. Perry was a homemaker who enjoyed crafts. She was a member of Paws and Taws Square Dance Club.
She is survived by her husband; three sons, Greg of Kirkland, David of Portland, Ore., and Ron of American Fork, Utah; a daughter, Julie Van Stekelenburg of Bremerton; 14 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. today at Pendleton-Gilchrist Funeral Home at Rill Chapel. A funeral service is planned for 11 a.m. Wednesday at Rill Chapel. Interment
will take place at Sunset Lane cemetery.

Katharine Hall
Katharine C. "Kit" Hall, 87, of Port Orchard died Nov. 19, 2000, at Harrison Hospital.
She was born June 1, 1913, in Seattle to Charles and Helen (Maxwell) Croasdill Jr. She graduated from Roosevelt High School in Seattle in 1931 and attended the University of Washington.
She married
Russell Sweany on Oct. 27, 1933, in Seattle. He preceded her in death in 1974. She then married
Ray Hall on May 10, 1980, in Port Orchard. He preceded her in death in 1997.
Mrs. Hall worked in insurance, retiring in 1980.
She was a member of the Jennie L. Miller Orthopedic Guild and St. Bede's Episcopal Church in Port Orchard. She enjoyed knitting.
Survivors include two sons, Russell Sweany Jr. of Gig Harbor and Charles Sweany of Fountain Valley, Calif.; two daughters, Kay Maris of Buckley and Sara Jones of Gig Harbor; a stepdaughter, Janis Hall of Huntington Beach, Calif.; a brother, Walter Croasdill of Seattle; 14 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Croasdill III.
Visitation is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. today at Pendleton-Gilchrist Funeral Home at Rill Chapel. A funeral service is planned for 2 p.m. Wednesday at St. Bede's Episcopal Church. Interment

Vennita McMinn
Vennita L. McMinn, 75, of Belfair, died Nov. 17, 2000, at her home.
She was born Feb. 7, 1925, in Duvall to Wallace and Betty Hobson.
She married
Earl McMinn on May 5, 1945, in Seattle.
Mrs. McMinn was a mother and homemaker who enjoyed cooking. She was a member of the Eagles of Port Orchard and Belfair.
She is survived by her husband; a son, Bill of Bremerton; a daughter, Sharon McGiver of Port Orchard; a sister, Norma Smith of Seattle; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Karen Wirch; a brother, Wallace Jr.; and a sister, Betty.
A funeral service is planned for 2 p.m. Wednesday at Miller-Woodlawn Funeral Home. Interment
will take place at Miller-Woodlawn Memorial Park.

James Smith
James Page Smith Jr., 43, of Bremerton died Nov. 16, 2000, at his home of complications from diabetes.
He was born Aug. 22, 1957, in Seattle, to James P. and Katherine M. (Sellick) Smith. He attended Central Kitsap High School and Olympic College.
Mr. Smith worked as a machinist at Lighthouse for the Blind in Seattle for five years.
He enjoyed music and listening to books on tape.
Survivors include two brothers, Mark of Port Orchard and Kevin of Bonney Lake; two sisters, Sharon Vicic of St. Paul, Minn., and Mary Kay Fridley of Renton.
Service arrangements are pending, and are under the direction of Tuell-McKee Funeral Home.

Michael Bruner
Michael Bruner, 40, of Port Orchard died Nov. 16, 2000, in Kenmore.
He was born Aug. 6, 1960, in Uetersen, Germany, to Robert and Inge (Scheld) Bruner. He graduated from Smithon High School in Canyon Lake, Texas, in 1978.
Mr. Bruner served in the Navy from 1978 to 1998. Before retiring, he achieved the rank of fire control technician first class.
He married
Diana Klinko on April 20, 1990, in Charleston, S.C.
Mr. Bruner enjoyed computers.
Survivors include his wife; his parents of San Antonio, Texas; two sons, Andrew and Devin, both of Port Orchard; a sister, Adeline Godby of Ohio; and two brothers, Eberhard of Rawlins, Wyo., and Siegfried of Port Orchard.
A memorial service is planned for 11 a.m. Wednesday at Lewis Funeral Chapel. Inurnment will take place at Tahoma National cemetery in Kent.
Janet Carnaghi
Janet Leilani Carnaghi, 50, of Bremerton died Nov. 15, 2000, at Harrison Hospital.
She was born July 5, 1950, in Honolulu, Hawaii, to Virgil and Phyliss (Kelly) Scheer. She graduated from Canby High School in Canby, Ore., and from Southern Oregon College in Ashland, Ore.
She married
Henry J. Carnaghi on Sept. 6, 1975.
Mrs. Carnaghi was a registered nurse for 24 years, most recently at Harrison Hospital.
She is survived by her husband; her father of Canby, Ore.; a brother, Steven Scheen of Tigard, Ore.; and a sister, Janice Scheen of Portland, Ore.
A memorial service is planned for 1 p.m. Saturday at Miller-Woodlawn Funeral Home.

Debra Gordon
Debra J. Gordon, 45, of Bremerton died Nov. 15, 2000, in Bremerton.
She was born Oct. 28, 1955, in Anchorage, Alaska, to Gordon and Patricia (Smith) Sloan. She graduated from West High School in 1974 and from Olympic College in 1992.
She was an accountant at the Salvation Army in Bremerton for nine years. She also was a Salvation Army member and volunteer.
Survivors include her former husband, Frank Gordon III; her father, Gordon Sloan of Bremerton; her mother, Patricia Sloan of Bremerton; a son, Timothy of Bremerton; a brother, Mike Sloan of Bremerton; and a grandmother, Edna Harrington of Port Orchard.
A memorial service is planned for 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Salvation Army. Interment
will be at Miller-Woodlawn Memorial Park.

Thelma Dame
Thelma E. Dame, 83, of Port Orchard died Nov. 14, 2000, at Ridgemont Terrace Convalescent Center.
She was born June 27, 1917, in Evansville, Ind., to Crit and Stella (Blunk) Conway. She graduated in 1933 from Central High School in Evansville.
She married
Walter C. Dame on Nov. 11, 1933, in Evansville. He preceded her in death in 1988.
Mrs. Dame owned and managed several restaurants for most of her life. She then worked for H & R Block as a tax preparer in Arizona and Port Orchard, retiring in 1985.
She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Port Orchard. She enjoyed traveling.
Survivors include two grandsons, Don Dame of Sparks, Nev., and Joey Dame of Port Orchard; two granddaughters, Betty Lash of Southworth and Bonnie Oswald of Port Orchard; and four great-grandchildren. She also was preceded in death by an infant son, Walter, in 1946, a son, Don, in 1967; and a daughter, Betty, in 1943.
A memorial service is planned for 7 p.m. Monday at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Port Orchard. Inurnment will take place at Sunset Lane cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Pendleton-Gilchrist Funeral Home at Rill-Chapel.
