Ocie Randle
Ocie Randle, 88, of Bremerton, died of kidney failure Nov. 3, 2000, at Harrison Hospital.
He was born Aug. 25, 1912, in Hearn, Texas, to David and Bell (Grant) Randle.
He married
Eloris Smith Williams on Aug. 10, 1996, in Reno, Nev.
Mr. Randle was a rigger at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard for 35 years, retiring in 1980.
He was a member of Sinclair Missionary Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing and playing dominoes.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Gerald of San Jose, Calif.; a stepson, A.R. Williams of Arizona; three daughters, Patricia Riley of San Jose, Charlene Randle of San Francisco and Betty Hayes of Port Orchard; six grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Fannie Hankins Randle; a brother, Lorenzo Sr.; and three sisters, Thelma, Louise and Essie Mae.
Visitation is scheduled from 1 to 7 p.m. today at Miller-Woodlawn Funeral Home. A funeral service is planned for 11 a.m. Thursday at Sinclair Baptist Church in Bremerton. Interment
will follow at Miller-Woodlawn Memorial Park.

Jamie Wilson
Former Bremerton resident Jamie Louise Wilson, 43, of Portland, Texas, died Oct. 13, 2000, in Portland.
She was born May 9, 1957, in Seattle to James Hein and Marjorie (MacArthur) Lane. She graduated from Bremerton High School.
She enjoyed crafts.
Survivors include her husband, Christopher Wilson; her mother; a son, Damien Louviere of Houston; a daughter, Jessica Long of Silverdale; two brothers, Randy Hein of Tracyton and Craig Schechert of Poulsbo; and a sister, Kimberly Novak of Silverdale. She was preceded in death by her father.
Ralph Smith
Ralph Kyle Smith, 59, of Bremerton, died of cancer Nov. 4, 2000, at Harrison Hospital.
He was born Aug. 8, 1941, in Long Beach, Calif., to Melvin and Ruth (Kyle) Smith. He graduated in 1959 from West High School in Bremerton and attended Olympic College.
Mr. Smith served in the Army from 1965 to 1967, achieving the rank of specialist fourth class.
He later was an equipment specialist at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard for 39 years.
Mr. Smith was a member of Kitsap County Poggie Club and enjoyed hunting.
He is survived by a sister-in-law, Patricia Smith of Belfair. He was preceded in death by a brother, Robert, in 1999.
Inurnment will take place at Tahoma National cemetery in Kent. Arrangements are under the direction of Pendleton-Gilchrist Funeral Home at Rill Chapel.

Mary Clements
Mary M. Clements, 83, of Bremerton, died Nov. 4, 2000, at Forest Ridge Health and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born Feb. 19, 1917, in Columbus, Ind., to William and Anna Reed.
She married
John A. Clements on Dec. 25, 1940, in Zionsville, Ind. He preceded her in death in 1944.
Mrs. Clements was the assistant manager in the kitchen at the children's hospital in San Francisco for 30 years.
She is survived by a daughter, Sandra Porter of Bremerton; a sister, Fay Jean of McKamey, Ind.; five grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. She also was preceded in death by four brothers, George, Louie, Richard and Joseph; two sisters, Margaret and Oma Ann; and a daughter, Dorothy J. Klontz.
A graveside service is planned for 3 p.m. Friday at Sunset Lane cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Pendleton-Gilchrist Funeral Home at Rill Chapel.

Donald Storhoff
Donald R. Storhoff, 77, of Poulsbo died of a heart attack Nov. 3, 2000, at Harrison Hospital.
He was born Jan. 20, 1923, in Poulsbo to Edward and Edna (Sather) Storhoff.
He was a Seabee in the Navy from 1941 to 1943.
He married
Mary Beaton on June 5, 1946. She preceded him in death in 1994.
Mr. Storhoff worked at Fred Hill Materials for 38 years, retiring in 1984. He was a member of Operating Engineers.
He enjoyed fishing and yard work.
Survivors include a son, Donald Jr. of Poulsbo; three daughters, Dana Forsyth of Quartzsite, Ariz., Farrel Alexander of Poulsbo and Kristine Butter of Indianapolis; eight grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
A private service will be held at a later date.
Gunnar Carlberg
Gunnar Carlberg, 91, of Bremerton died Nov. 3, 2000, at Belmont Terrace Convales-cent Center of natural causes.
He was born April 9, 1909, in Huskvarna, Sweden, to Johan and Alfreda (Ward) Karlberg. He attended school in Sweden.
He married
Marie Andersen on June 4, 1934, in Everett. She preceded him in death in 1986.
Mr. Carlberg was a milkman for Price's Dairy in Port Orchard for six years. He then opened Gunnar's Trading Post in Bremerton and operated it for 32 years. He retired in 1979.
He is survived by two sons, Russ of Bremerton and Gary of Hoodsport; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.
At his request, there will be no service. Arrangements are by Miller-Woodlawn Funeral Home.

Ralph Wilkin
Ralph C. Wilkin, 89, formerly of Port Orchard, died Nov. 3, 2000, at Lighthouse Adult Family Home in Kennewick.
He was born Dec. 21, 1910, in Hillsboro, Ohio, to Karl and Anna (Paley) Wilkin.
He married
Evelyn Tyner on Dec. 27, 1942, in Yakima. She preceded him in death in 1989.
Mr. Wilkin was an electric-ian at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard during World War II. He then became a foreman of the Pope & Talbot log yard in Sequim, retiring in 1975.
He was a member of Lincoln Avenue Bible Church. He enjoyed golfing.
Survivors include four sons, Ralph Jr. of Siloam Springs, Ark., Richard of Fallbrook, Calif., Harry of St. Petersburg, Fla. and Paul of Selah; four daughters, Phyllis Hotman of Riverside, Calif., Edna Ylinen of Lynden, Mary George of Seattle, and Martha Cole of Pasco; a brother, William of Bothell; a sister, Helen Murphy of Mesa, Ariz.; 19 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Harold; and two sisters, Margaret and Mildred.
Visitation is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. today at Pendleton-Gilchrist Funeral Home at Rill Chapel. A funeral service is planned for 11 a.m. Wednesday at Lincoln Avenue Bible Church. Interment
will take place at Sunset Lane cemetery.

Stanley Widdas
Stanley G. Widdas, 72, of Port Ludlow died of natural causes Oct. 31, 2000, at Jefferson General Hospital in Port Townsend.
He was born Dec. 7, 1927, in Detroit, to Eric and Evelene (Wilkes) Widdas. He graduated from Marine City High School in Marine City, Mich., in 1946, and from Western Michigan University in 1953.
Mr. Widdas served in the Army and was attached to the Air Force from 1951 to 1953, achieving the rank of sergeant.
He married
Beatrice M. Lloyd on May 9, 1953, in Eaton Rapids, Mich.
Mr. Widdas worked as a mechanical draftsman for 40 years, retiring in 1933.
He enjoyed sailing and model trains.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Scott of Kingston; two daughters, Tracy MacDonnell of Silverdale and Susan Milton; a brother, Harold of Arlington, Texas; and seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Wade; and a sister, Loretta Smith.
A private service is planned. Arrangements are by Kosec Funeral Home in Port Townsend.

Wesley Dibert
Former Bremerton resident Wesley J.L. Dibert, 86, of Ocala, Fla., died Oct. 29, 2000, in Ocala of natural causes.
He was born July 14, 1914, in Pittsburgh, to John Lee and Golden Dibert.
He served in the Navy from 1934 to 1953, achieving the rank of chief.
He married
Joyce DeLaye on June 20, 1959, in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.
Mr. Dibert worked as a marine machinist at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard for 25 years, retiring in 1978.
He was a member of the Lutheran church and Upton Lodge 206. He enjoyed square dancing.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Art Mitchell of Fall City; two daughters, Teri Patterson of Allyn and Cathy Moore of Los Angeles; and two granddaughters.
A memorial service is to take place in Ocala, Fla., on Dec. 1.

John Jacobsen
John W. Jacobsen, 68, of Port Orchard died Oct. 28, 2000, at his home.
He was born Oct. 11, 1932, in Tyler, Minn., to Theodore and Louise Jacobsen. He graduated from Puyallup High School in 1950 and attended the University of Puget Sound.
Mr. Jacobsen served in the Army during the Korean War, achieving the rank of private first class.
He worked as a Boeing engineer for 31 years, retiring in 1990.
He enjoyed wooden boats and aviation.
Survivors include two sons, Mark of Port Orchard and John of Silverdale; two brothers, Kenneth of Albuquerque, N.M., and Louis of San Antonio; a sister, Alta Reed of Everett; and a grandchild. He was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Diane (Bithell) Jacobsen in 1984; and a sister, Osma.
A memorial service is planned for 1 p.m. Thursday at Pendleton-Gilchrist Funeral Home at Rill Chapel.
Benjamin Seal
Benjamin H. Seal, 91, of Poulsbo died of Alzheimer's disease Nov. 4, 2000, at Harbor House at Liberty Shores.
He was born March 13, 1909, in Picayune, Miss., to Cyrus and Isabelle (Seale) Seal.
He married
Helen Jorgensen on July 22, 1938, in Honolulu, Hawaii.
Mr. Seal served in the Army Air Corps from 1933 to 1938, achieving the rank of staff sergeant.
He owned and operated West Valley Insurance Agency in San Fernando Valley, Calif., for 40 years, retiring in 1986.
Mr. Seal enjoyed golf and music from the Big Band era.
He is survived by his wife; two sons, William of Silverdale and Benjamin H. of Moorpark, Calif.; two daughters, B. Diane Seal of Thousand Oaks, Calif., and H. Darlene Elliott of The Colony, Texas; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by all 12 of his siblings.
Arrangements are under the direction of Miller-Woodlawn Funeral Home.
