Rosario Pagaduan
Rosario R. Pagaduan, 75, of Silverdale died Sept. 9, 2000, in Bremerton.
She was born Jan. 1, 1925, in the Philippines to Agustin and Visitacion (Ordona) Rimando.
She married Leandro Pagaduan on March 13, 1952, in the Philippines. He preceded her in death in 1986.
Mrs. Pagaduan was a homemaker. She enjoyed gardening and cooking for family gatherings.
She was a member of the Catholic church at Naval Submarine Base Bangor.
Survivors include two sons, Rodolfo and Renato, both of the Philippines; a daughter, Norma Lozano of Silverdale; 12 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A funeral Mass and interment will take place in the Philippines. Arrangements are by Miller-Woodlawn Funeral Home.

Faye Johnson
Faye Johnson, 81, of Bremerton died of a heart attack Sept. 5, 2000.
She was born Dec. 21, 1918, in Winnsboro, Texas, to James Marvin and Pearl (King) Funderburg. She graduated from Mount Vernon High School in Texas in 1935.
She married Robert Murray Johnson on Dec. 30, 1962, in Michigan. He preceded her in death in 1999.
Mrs. Johnson was a civil service executive secretary until retiring in 1971.
She was a member of the Washington State Association for Family and Community Education, formerly known as Homemakers Association of Kitsap County.
Survivors include two sons, Robert of Seattle and Kenneth of Manassas, Va.; two daughters, Laurella Badia Johnson of Carpinteria, Calif., and Patricia Badia Williams of Salem, Ohio; two sisters, Mary Robertson of Bryson City, N.C., and Jamie Carlson of Burleson, Texas; nine grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. She also was preceded in death by a sister, Deane Farris.
Arrangements are by Kitsap Cremation and Burial Society.

Ken Stemkoski
Ken Stemkoski, 45, of Port Orchard died Sept. 6, 2000, in Port Orchard.
He was born Jan. 24, 1955, in Toledo, Ore., to Joe and Pat Stemkoski. He graduated from James Campbell High School in Ewa Beach, Hawaii, in 1973.
He worked for NAPA Auto Parts in Port Orchard for 10 years.
Mr. Stemkoski enjoyed model railroads and automobile restoration.
Survivors include his parents of Alsea, Ore.; a daughter, Kimberly Rachel Steiner of Port Orchard; a brother, Joe of McMinnville, Ore.; and two sisters, Patty Bernhard of Bremerton and Jill Tabberer of Englewood, Colo.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday at Pendleton-Gilchrist Funeral Home at Rill Chapel. A funeral service will follow Thursday's visitation.

Jean Sanson
Jean Marie Sanson, 16, of Federal Way died Sept. 8, 2000, at Highline Community Hospital of an unknown cause.
She was born Aug. 7, 1984, in Renton to Danny and Rita Sanson. She attended Thomas Jefferson High School in Federal Way.
She enjoyed writing poetry and being on the swim team.
She was a member of Our Savior's Baptist Church in Federal Way.
Survivors include her parents, Danny and Carol Sanson of Bremerton and Dean and Rita Sallee of Federal Way; a brother, Darrell of Federal Way; and a grandmother, Erma Jean Brass of Seattle.
A memorial service is planned for 3 p.m. Wednesday at St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Federal Way.
Memorial donations may be made to Our Savior's Baptist Church, 701 S. 320th St., Federal Way, WA 98003 or a local Medic One service.

Joshua Story
Joshua Edward Story, 2-1/2 months, the son of Stephen and Sheri (Harris) Story and the grandson of B remerton resident Betty Potter, died of respiratory arrest Sept. 2, 2000, at Aviano Airbase, Italy.
He was born June 16, 2000, in Udine, Italy.
In addition to his parents and grandmother, survivors include brothers, Brian and Kyle; a sister Ashley; and grandparents, Gene and Jean Ohlman.
He was preceded in death by maternal grandfathers, Robert Potter and Francis Harris, and paternal grandfather, Orron Story.
Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Miller Woodlawn Memorial Park.

Irmgard Wheeler
Irmgard Minna Wheeler, 75, of Bremerton died Aug. 17, 2000, in Bremerton.
She was born July 24, 1925, in Bantolfelde, Germany, to Karl and Lina (Voight) Peters.
She married Beryl Wheeler on Feb. 8, 1965, in Blythe, Calif. He preceded her in death in 1991.
She enjoyed cooking and gardening.
Survivors include a son, Siegbert Falk of Germany; and a sister, Erna Katenz of Dortmund, Germany.
At the family's request, no services are planned.

Marion Orcutt
Marion Dorothy Orcutt, 79, of Poulsbo died Sept. 7, 2000, of Alzheimer's disease at Martha & Mary Health Care Center.
She was born Feb. 1, 1921, in Seattle to George and Anne (Marshall) Wille. She graduated from Ballard High School in 1939 and attended Seattle Pacific College.
She married Donald Orcutt on Sept. 16, 1943, in Poulsbo.
Mrs. Orcutt was a piano teacher and homemaker. She retired in 1977.
She enjoyed gardening and was a member of the Seattle Garden Club. She was a member of the Presbyterian church.
Survivors include her husband; three sons, Clifton of Bainbridge Island, Russell of Enumclaw and Douglas of Anchorage, Alaska; a daughter, Sandra Jeanne Klein of Bainbridge Island; a sister, Betty Jean Leasure of Kingsport, Tenn.; and four grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Poulsbo Mortuary, The Stone Chapel at Cherry Grove.

Donald Jones
Donald Wayne Jones, 65, of Kingston died Sept. 6, 2000, at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Seattle.
He was born April 16, 1935, in Thomas, Okla., to Russell and Virginia (Saling) Jones. He attended Burney High School in Burney, Calif.
Mr. Jones served in the Army from 1951 to 1964. He was a sergeant.
He married Elvira Schrock on Feb. 27, 1959, in Karlsruhe, West Germany.
He was a millwright for 19 years with Pope and Talbot in Port Gamble, retiring in 1985.
Mr. Jones was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7329 in Kingston and Eagles Aerie 3586 in Poulsbo.
Survivors include his wife; his father of Kingston; three sons, Hans of Tyler, Texas, and Leon and William, both of Kingston; two daughters, Virginia Calahan of Poulsbo and Vivian Weaver of Gig Harbor; four brothers, Ronald of Fresno, Calif., Larry of Bend, Ore., Tom of Yucaipa, Calif., and Danny Bush of Mineola, Texas; four sisters, Jean Weaver of Eastman, Ga., Connie Voss of Kennewick, Gayle Musgrove of Mesa, Ariz., and Barbara Bush of Kingston; and nine grandchildren. He was p receded in death by a son, Michael, in 1996.
A memorial service is planned for 12:30 p.m. today at Eagles Aerie 3586. Arrangements are under the direction of Poulsbo Mortuary, The Stone Chapel at Cherry Grove.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association.

Joyce Littlejohn
Joyce Littlejohn, 65, of Bremerton died of cancer Sept. 7, 2000, in Bremerton.
She was born Feb. 20, 1935, in Grafton, N.D., to Joseph and Hilda (Zeller) Larson. She attended Grafton High School.
She married Alfred Littlejohn on June 28, 1954, in Grafton.
Mrs. Littlejohn was a bakery clerk for 30 years and with the Bremerton School District for six years. She retired in 1997.
She enjoyed her grandchildren and flower gardening. She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Bremerton.
Survivors include her husband; three daughters, Connie Lebeau, Becky Kirk and Shirley Edde, all of Bremerton; a brother, Richard Larson of Grafton; four sisters, Evelyn, Phyllis, Beatrice and Janice, all of North Dakota; and seven grandchildren. She was preceded in death by brothers, Myron "Hap" and Noel, and by a sister, Marlyn.
Visitation is scheduled for noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday at Miller-Woodlawn Funeral Home, followed by a memorial service at 1 p.m.
Memorial donations may be made to Peace Lutheran Church.

Glenn Buchanan
Glenn Leroy Buchanan, 65, of Seabeck died of cancer Sept. 4, 2000, at Harrison Hospital.
He was born Nov. 22, 1934, in Port Townsend to Glenn A. and Arleen F. (Keller) Buchanan. He graduated from Bremerton High School in 1953.
He married Bonnie Jean Bass on June 21, 1963, in Bremerton.
Mr. Buchanan served in the Navy. He later was a mechanic working for various contractors for 37 years and with Kitsap County for the past 12 years, retiring in 1999.
He enjoyed model trains and visiting with friends.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Paul of Seabeck; a daughter, Jennifer of Seabeck; a sister, Gloria Just of Shelton; and one granddaughter.
At his request, no services are planned. Inurnment will take place at Forest Lawn cemetery in Bremerton.
Memorial donations may be made to American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 2383, Bremerton, WA 98310.

Vernon Pudas
Vernon Peter Pudas, 80, of Bremerton died Sept. 5, 2000, at Crista Shores in Silverdale.
He was born June 28, 1920, in Sebeka, Minn., to John and Sophia (Rank) Pudas. He graduated in 1939 from Northfield High School in Northfield, Minn.
He married Eloise H. Collins on April 11, 1946, in Bremerton.
Mr. Pudas served in the Army Air Corps from 1941 to 1945. He was a sergeant.
Following World War II, he worked at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard for 34 years, retiring in 1975 as a physical science technician.
Mr. Pudas enjoyed gardening and the outdoors. He was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Bremerton.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Terry of Newport, R.I.; a daughter, Bonnie Mace of Bremerton; two sisters, Sylvia Reidel of Port Angeles and Ann Westberg of Poulsbo; a brother, Lawrence of Northfield; and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by brothers, Hjalmar, Art and Ernest, and sisters, Edith, Effie and Lyla.
Visitation is scheduled for 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. today and Saturday at Lewis Funeral Chapel. A funeral service is planned for 11 a.m. Monday at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, followed by a graveside service at Forest Lawn cemetery in Bremerton.
