Ferol Coiner
Ferol Coiner, 84, of Bremerton died of cancer Aug. 30, 2000, at her home.
She was born Aug. 18, 1916, in Geddes, S.D., to Lew and Florence Collamore. She graduated in 1935 from Geddes High School and in 1936 from dental school in Geddes.
She married
Eugene F. Coiner on Aug. 8, 1969, in Bremerton.
Mrs. Coiner was a homemaker. She was a member of K.B.H. Archery Club and the Washington State Archery Association.
She is survived by her husband; a son, John Zell of Algona; two daughters, Janice Doyle of Graham, and Phyllis Daly of Bremerton; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A funeral service is planned for 10 a.m. today at Miller-Woodlawn Funeral Home. Interment
will take place at Miller-Woodlawn Memorial Park.

Patricia Izzo
Patricia M. Izzo, 25, of Bremerton died of cancer Aug. 31, 2000, in Bremerton.
She was born Nov. 12, 1974, in Bremerton, to Anthony and Patrice (Thomas) Izzo. She graduated in 1994 from Bremerton High School.
She worked at the McDonald's on Kitsap Way for two years.
Miss Izzo loved writing poetry and crafting gifts for family and friends. She was a lifetime member of The Salvation Army Church.
Survivors include her mother; two brothers, Anthony Izzo and Steven Silkett, both of Bremerton; a sister, Shawnta Izzo of Bremerton; and a grandmother, Ramona Thomas of Bremerton.
Visitation is scheduled from 10 a.m. to noon Wednesday at The Salvation Army Church. A funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. Interment
will follow at Miller-Woodlawn Memorial Park.

Donald Lennon Jr.
Donald T. Lennon Jr., 54, of Bremerton, past state chairman for Mothers Against Drunk Driving, died of natural causes Aug. 28, 2000.
He was born Aug. 31, 1945, in Batavia, N.Y., to Donald and Ruth (Herman) Lennon. He graduated in 1964 from Batavia High School and from Columbia College in Missouri in 1985.
Mr. Lennon served in the Navy from 1964 to 1986, achieving the rank of chief torpedoman. He received a National Defense Medal and five Good Conduct medals.
He married
Loie A. Rogers on Feb. 7, 1968, in Seabrook, N.H.
Mr. Lennon was an industrial specialist at Keyport Naval Undersea Warfare Center for 13 years.
In addition to serving as a past state chairman for MADD, he also served on the organization's national board of directors.
He was a member of the Catholic church, the Knights of Columbus and was past president of the Bangor Community Christian Services.
Survivors include a daughter, Tammy Waite of Renton; a brother, Michael of Virginia; and one grandchild. He was preceded in death by a son, Steven, in 1991; and a sister, Sharon Post, in 1996.
Visitation is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at Miller-Woodlawn Chapel. A rosary will be said at 7 that evening. A funeral Mass is planned for 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Subbase Bangor Chapel. Entombment will follow at Miller-Woodlawn Memorial Park.

Mildred Wright
Mildred L. Wright, 74, of Poulsbo died Aug. 30, 2000, in Poulsbo.
She was born July 4, 1926, in Hebron, N.D., to Harry and Katherine (Godes) Sherbesman. She graduated from Silverdale High School in 1945.
She married
Carter A. Wright on Jan. 31, 1948, in Bremerton. He preceded her in death in 1985.
Mrs. Wright was a business owner and housewife for 30 years.
She enjoyed quilting and gardening.
Survivors include a son, Gerald of Poulsbo; a daughter, Marleen Nighswonger of Silverdale; a brother, Bert of Silverdale; two sisters, Marie Schave of Anchorage, Alaska, and Isabell Robinson of California; and two grandchildren. She also was preceded in death by a sister, Esther Sherbesman.
Visitation is scheduled from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday at Miller-Woodlawn Funeral Home. A memorial service is planned for 1 p.m. Tuesday at Silverdale Lutheran Church. Interment
will be place at Miller-Woodlawn Memorial Park.

Jane McDougall
Jane M. McDougall, 62, of Kingston died Aug. 25, 2000, at Harrison Hospital.
She was born Aug. 10, 1938, in Vancouver, British Columbia, to Lloyd and Myrtle (Spencer) Edgett. She graduated in 1956 from York House School for Girls in Vancouver.
She married
Graeme McDougall on May 24, 1958, in Vancouver.
Mrs. McDougall was a homemaker. She was a member of Kingston Cove Yacht Club and the Art Docent Program at David Wolfle Elementary in Kingston.
She is survived by her husband; four sons, David of Atlanta, Ga., John of Quilcene, Michael of Kingston and Christopher of Chicago; and six grandchildren.
A memorial service is planned for 2 p.m. Thursday at Kingston Cove Yacht Club. Cremation will be at Cherry Grove Memorial Park. Arrangements are under the direction of Poulsbo Mortuary, The Stone Chapel.

James Montgomery
Former Bremerton resident James Lyle Montgomery, 51, of Brinnon died Aug. 27, 2000, at his home.
He was born Jan. 11, 1949, in Hawthorne, Nev., to Rue and Garnet (Green) Montgomery. He graduated in 1967 from East Bremerton High School.
He worked in carpentry and home building for more than 20 years.
Mr. Montgomery enjoyed fishing and hunting.
He is survived by a son, James of Kingston; two brothers, William of Seabeck and Dick of Poulsbo; and one grandchild.
A memorial service is planned for Wednesday at Geoduck Tavern in Brinnon. The time is yet to be determined. Cremation will take place at Poulsbo Mortuary, The Stone Chapel at Cherry Grove.

Marjorie Caldwell
Marjorie Marie Caldwell, 77, of Bainbridge Island died following a lengthy illness Aug. 28, 2000, on Bainbridge Island.
She was born Nov. 20, 1922, in Portland, Ore., to Mort and Marie (Hansen) Butler. She attended Jefferson High School in Portland.
She married
Robert Caldwell on April 22, 1945, in Portland. He preceded her in death in 1996.
Mrs. Caldwell worked for Western Union during World War II. She enjoyed gardening and arts and crafts.
Survivors include a son, Sandy of Kingston; a grandchild; and a great-grandchild.
Arrangements are under the direction of Poulsbo Mortuary, The Stone Chapel.
Ruth Garrido
Ruth Garrido, 70, of Bremerton died of breast cancer Aug. 25, 2000, in Bremerton.
She was born Oct. 22, 1929, in Sumay, Guam, to Susana Aquiningoc.
She married
Maximeno T. Garrido on June 3, 1950, in Santa Rita, Guam. He preceded her in death in 1993.
Mrs. Garrido was a member of the Catholic church, Altar Society and Chamorro Club.
She is survived by a son, Allan of San Antonio, Texas; two daughters, Susan Bustos of LaVerne, Calif., and Yvonne Walker of Bremerton; a brother, Gregorio; two sisters, Virginia Fabellano and Cecelia Quitugua; six grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by a brother, Pedro Aquiningoc.
Arrangements are under the direction of Miller-Woodlawn Funeral Home. Services have been held.
Ace Hayes
Layton A. "Ace" Hayes, 81, of Bremerton died Aug. 26, 2000, in Bremerton.
He was born Aug. 7, 1919, in Minnesota to John and Grace (Johnson) Hayes.
He married
Allan Crowley in December 1996 in Port Orchard.
Mr. Hayes served in the Navy from 1937 to 1968, achieving the rank of chief warrant officer fourth class.
He later was a commercial fisherman for a short time. He enjoyed fishing and being at sea.
Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Angela Armstrong and Pamela Fleming, both of Bremerton, and Deborah Castellano of Everett; and eight grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers, John and Robert; and a sister, Beverly.
At his request, there will be no services. Burial will take place at sea.
Jennifer Grimes
Jennifer Sue (Harshfield) Grimes, 48, of Bremerton died Aug. 26, 2000, in Bremerton.
She was born in Casper, Wyo.
She married
Ronald Grimes in 1966. He preceded her in death.
Mrs. Grimes was a waitress and homemaker.
She enjoyed camping and cooking.
Survivors include her companion, Ron Troseth of Bremerton; two sons, Robert Grimes of Seattle and Kevin Hammond of Yakima; a daughter, Angela Toney of Stayton, Ore.; three sisters, Dawn Chike of Keizer, Ore., Rosemary Harshfield of Newport, Ore., and Mischelle Stoner of Mitchell, Neb.; and a grandchild.
Services are planned for
4 p.m. today at Kitsap Lake Baptist Church in Bremerton.

Rose Mary Zaragoza, 82, of Bremerton died Aug. 30, 2000, at Bremerton Health and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born Jan. 7, 1918, in Havre, Mont.
She married
Alfonso Zaragoza in 1932 in Montana. He preceded her in death in 1968.
Mrs. Zaragoza was a homemaker. She enjoyed crocheting and painting ceramics.
She was a member of the Neighborhood Christian Center.
Survivors include seven sons, Mike of Maple Valley, Pete of Milton, Bob of Walla Walla, Jerry and Alfonso, both of Seattle, Raymond of Longview and John of Vancouver, Wash.; six daughters, Maria Zaragoza of Des Moines, Paula Zaragoza of Bremerton, Andrea Conley of Tacoma, Rosie Aldrich of Seattle, Ernestine Goeman of Kent and Josephine Carson of Kalotis, Wash.; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A memorial service is planned for 2 p.m. Saturday at Neighborhood Christian Center. Cremation will be at Cherry Grove Crematory. Arrangements are under the direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel.
