Roger Larson
Roger L. Larson, 57, of Gig Harbor died Nov. 11, 2001, in Tacoma.
He was born April 28, 1944, in Brandon, Minn., to James W. and Simie Larson.
He was a logger in Pierce, Kitsap and Mason Counties.
Survivors include his wife, Cheryl Lane of Gig Harbor; three daughters, Sheila Reynold, Tina, and Regina Ashe, all of Port Orchard; a brother, Ronnie of Shelton; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Haven of Rest Chapel in Gig Harbor.
William Clark
William Emmer Clark, 85, of Poulsbo died of cancer Nov. 4, 2001, at home.
He was born Sept. 29, 1916, in Salida, Colo., to William and Bessie (Galbreath) Clark. He graduated in 1935 from Queen Anne High School in Seattle and attended college in Portland.
He served in the Army from 1941 to 1945, achieving the rank of sergeant.
He married
Patricia Finrow on July 27, 1957. She continues to reside in Poulsbo.
He was active in missionary work as a chaplain for Youth for Christ. He was a member of North Kitsap Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Maj. William E. Clark Jr. of Puyallup and Christopher W. Clark of Poulsbo; two daughters, Michelle Clark of Sedalia, Colo., and Pamela Marquardt of Parker, Colo.; a sister, Lois Scott of Seattle; and 10 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Sterling and Warne Clark; his first wife, Ida Casci; and five children, Michael, Thomas, Mary, William and an infant son.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Nov. 25 at Island Lake Bible Camp in Poulsbo. Interment
will take place at Mount View cemetery. Arrangements are under
the direction of Miller-Woodlawn Funeral Home.

George Taylor
George Gayle Taylor, 76, of Silverdale died Nov. 8, 2001, in Bremerton.
He was born Sept. 30, 1925, in Turley, Okla., to Cooper and Zona (Stephens) Taylor.
He married
Naomi Renfro on July 21, 1946, in Yuma, Ariz.
Mr. Taylor served in the Army from 1943 to 1946, achieving the rank of sergeant. He was assigned to the European Theater.
He worked later as a general contractor, owning and operating George Taylor Construction Co. in Paramount, Calif., for 32 years. He retired in 1980.
Mr. Taylor was a member of the Carpenters Union in Compton, Calif., and First Christian Church of Bremerton.
Survivors include his wife; one son, Todd of San Ramon, Calif.; one daughter, Trudy Timko of Crowley, Texas; two brothers, Merle of Santa Maria, Calif., and Billy Jay of Twin Falls, Idaho; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be held at 1 p.m. today at Poulsbo Mortuary, The Stone Chapel.

Thelma Lewis
Thelma B. Lewis, 85, of Silverdale died Nov. 7, 2001, at Martha & Mary Health Center in Poulsbo.
She was born Feb. 8, 1916, in Shawnee, Kan., to Robert and Agnes (Mitchell) Jenkins. She graduated from high school in Seattle in 1932.
She married
Garth A. Lewis on July 12, 1946, in Seattle. He preceded her in death in 1997.
Mrs. Lewis was a homemaker, and worked in her husband's Seattle grocery and catering business.
She enjoyed flying small planes, golf and gardening. She was a member of the Silverdale First Ward of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Survivors include a son, Mark of Bremerton; three daughters, Linda Nyland of Bremerton, Diane Dorman of Bellevue and Sherrie Bonsell of Gig Harbor; a brother, Robert Jenkins of Sparks, Nev.; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She also was preceded in death by two brothers, James Jenkins and Thomas Willis.
A memorial service will be at 12:30 p.m. today at the Silverdale Stake Center of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 9256 Nels Nelson Road NW. A private interment will follow at Miller-Woodlawn Memorial Park.

Einar Nordberg
Einar Carl Nordberg, 95, of Poulsbo died Nov. 7, 2001, in Poulsbo.
He was born Aug. 13, 1906, in Kingston. He married
Nema Dunlap on July 17, 1944. She died in 1999.
Survivors include seven sons, Cliff Norberg, Einar Norberg Jr. and Ernest Johnson, all of Poulsbo, Jerry Nordberg of Bremerton, Delbert Nordberg and Vernon Stevens, both of Suquamish, and Cliff Johnson of Indianola; seven daughters, Lucy Currie of Indianola, Ellen Porter of Port Gamble, Elva Shipley and Linda Cooper, both of Kennewick, Karla Rogers of Forks, Lila Berg of Bremerton and Melba Vinson of Poulsbo; a sister, Ruth Sutherland of Seattle; and numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren.
A private memorial service is planned.

Eunice Hudson
Eunice Hudson, 93, of Bremerton died of natural causes Nov. 6, 2001, in Bremerton.
She was born Sept. 1, 1908, in Yakima to Asa and Fannie (Druse) Schwartze. She graduated from Yakima High School in 1926 and from Washington State University in Pullman in 1930.
She married
Phillip L. Hudson on June 11, 1932, in Yakima. He preceded her in death in 1977.
Mrs. Hudson was an interior designer for 40 years. She retired in 1990.
She was a member of the American Society of Interior Designers, Soroptimist International and the First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a son, David of Gig Harbor; a sister, Florence McMechan of Yakima; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Rodney.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Nov. 17 at First United Methodist Church, 1150 Marine Drive in Bremerton. Arrangements are by Lewis Funeral Chapel.

Rosalina Oliveria
Rosalina T. Oliveria, 70, of Bremerton died of lung cancer Nov. 6, 2001, in Bremerton.
She was born April 22, 1931, in the Philippines to Benigno and Flora (Lobo) Talavera. She graduated from Plaridel High School in the Philippines and attended Far Eastern University in Manila, Philippines.
She married
Simeon C. Oliveria in May 1955 in Bataan, Philippines. He preceded her in death in 1981.
She enjoyed serving as a foster grandparent from 1992 to 1998.
She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Bremerton. She served the church as a Third Order Carmelite and as a member of the Legion of Mary.
She is survived by a son, Emmanuel of Olongapo City, Philippines; four daughters, Wilhelmina Amlag of Bremerton, Cleofas Oliveria, Zorayda Oliveria and Frederika Patriarca all of Melbourne, Australia; three brothers, Dan, Tony and Rolly Talavera, all of Manila; a sister, Nora Calumpang of Dumaguete City, Philippines; and 16 grandchildren. She also was preceded in death by a daughter, Elizabeth Oliveria, in 1988.
Visitation will be at Holy Trinity Catholic Church at 7 p.m. Sunday. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday, also at the church with a reception following. Interment
will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Forest Lawn cemetery. Arrangements under the direction of Tuell-McKee of Bremerton.
Bud Hennum
Gordon Dean "Bud" Hennum, 74, of Retsil died of cancer Oct. 14, 2001, at the Washington Veterans Home in Retsil.
He was born May 18, 1927, in Seattle to Martin and Hilda (Halvorsen) Hennum. He attended Lincoln High School in Seattle.
Mr. Hennum served in the Navy as a seaman first class. He was honorably discharged in 1946.
He later was a toll collector on the Hood Canal Bridge.
Survivors include a son, Michael of Montana; two daughters, Marcia Hoover of Olympia and Maria Carrell of Kingston; a brother, Martin of Poulsbo; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Arrangements are under the direction of Miller-Woodlawn Funeral Home.
Margo Rahkola
Matsuyo "Margo" Rahkola, 79, of Bremerton died at the Seattle Keiro Nursing Home on Nov. 4, 2001, where she had been a resident for 1-1/2 years.
She was born May 16, 1922, in Japan and received her education there.
She and her husband, Arvo Rahkola, were married
at the American Consulate in Tokyo on Dec. 9, 1954. He was a United Nations employee in that area.
As a 40-year resident of Manette, she enjoyed family life, gardening and the friendship of neighbors in the area. She was active with the Peninsula Japanese Women's Club, of which she was one of the original members in the early 1960s.
Survivors include her husband of Bremerton; two sons, Eric of Sammamish and Tadahiko Shimizu of Japan; and four grandchildren.
At her request, there will be no services.
Earl Troche
Earl Donald Troche, 69, of Bremerton died of a brain tumor Nov. 6, 2001, in Bremerton.
He was born Jan. 5, 1932, in Morgan Hill, Calif., to Manuel and Eulalia (Santiago) Troche. He graduated from Jefferson Union High School in Daly City, Calif., in 1952.
Mr. Troche served in the Air Force from 1952 to 1956 as an airman first class with the Strategic Air Command. He was awarded the Korean Service Medal and the National Defense Medal.
He married
Vicki Lynn Ochoa on April 27, 1974, in Burlingame, Calif.
Mr. Troche was a truck driver for 45 years, retiring in 1996. He was a member of the Teamsters Union.
After his retirement, he delivered prescription medication part-time in Bremerton.
He was a dedicated blood donor and the recipient of a nine-gallon pin from the Puget Sound Blood Center. He loved animals and actively rescued strays.
He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Bremerton.
Survivors include his wife; a brother, John of Fremont, Calif.; four sisters, Virginia Hanes and Marie Troche, both of San Mateo, Calif., Diana Logan of San Antonio, Texas, and Pauline Curalli of Las Vegas. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Manuel, Norman and Paul; and by four sisters, Ida, Emma, Flora and Minnie.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Inurnment will take place in Tahoma National cemetery in Kent at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Tuell-McKee of Bremerton.

Helen Eisenhardt
Helen Ann Eisenhardt, 87, of Poulsbo died Nov. 4, 2001, in Poulsbo.
She was born March 20, 1914, in Saginaw, Mich. She graduated from Holy Names Academy in Seattle, from Marylhurst College in Marylhurst, Ore., and from Seattle Pacific University.
She married
William R. Eisenhardt on June 15, 1940, in Suquamish. He preceded her in death.
Mrs. Eisenhardt was retired from a 28-year teaching career at David Wolfle Elementary School in Kingston.
Survivors include two sons, Norman and Jim; three daughters, Sue Kaizuka, Jan Eisenhardt and Mary Eisenhardt; one brother, Richard Pierce; one sister, Elizabeth Mortell; 12 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
A memorial Mass will be at 1 p.m. Friday at St. Olaf's Catholic Church in Poulsbo. Inurnment will take place at Miller-Woodlawn Memorial Park. Cremation is by Poulsbo Mortuary, The Stone Chapel at Cherry Grove.
