Irene Timm
Irene Gertrude Timm, 76, of Silverdale died Oct. 16, 2001, of natural causes in Silverdale.
She was born Feb. 20, 1925, in Tacoma to Earl and Bertha (Davis) Brown. She graduated from Lincoln High School in Tacoma in 1942.
She married
Wayne Timm on Oct. 9, 1954, in Crown Point, Ind.
Mrs. Timm had worked for the department of motor vehicles in California.
She enjoyed reading and sewing. She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Bremerton.
Survivors include her husband; one son, Gary of San Jose, Calif.; and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Judy Berrett.
Visitation is scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 4215 Pine Road in Bremerton. A funeral liturgy will follow at 11 a.m. also at Holy Trinity. Arrangements are under the direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel with entombment at Forest Lawn Hillcrest Mausoleum.
Norman Hull
Norman E. Hull, 86, died Oct. 14, 2001, at his Port Orchard residence.
He was born April 9, 1915, in Chicago, Ill., to Charles and Winifred (Edmiston) Hull. He graduated from high school in 1933 in Helena, Mont.
He married
Vivian Mitschke following high school and later married
Jean Gustafson.
He served in the Army from 1945 to 1946 in the Philippines.
He was agency secretary for Western Life Insurance Co. and was the manager for the National Federation of Independent Business for 20 years, retiring in 1977.
Mr. Hull was a member of Morning Star and the Elks 214 in Helena.
He was a Protestant.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Jeffrey of Spokane and David of Helena; a daughter, Lynne Fergusson of St. Albert, Alberta, Canada; nine grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held was Thursday at Lewis Funeral Chapel. Interment
at Tahoma National cemetery in Kent.
Arrangements were under the direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel.

Margaret Swanson
Margaret V. Swanson, 94, of Seattle died Oct. 8, 2001, at Greenwood Park Care Center in Seattle.
She was born July 20, 1907, in Norge, Va.
She married
Anton W. Swanson on Aug. 1, 1931. He preceded her in death in 1985
Mrs. Swanson enjoyed needlework and gardening. She was a Lutheran.
Survivors include five sons, John of Poulsbo, Ronald of Chicago, Jerry and Robert, both of Seattle, and Richard of Kelso; a daughter, Mary Ann Jennings of Seattle; a brother, Ervin Nesseth of Fertile, Minn.; 14 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. She also was preceded in death by three brothers; five sisters; a son, David; and a granddaughter, Elizabeth Ann.
A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Evergreen-Washelli in Seattle.
Memorial donations may be made to Children's Hospital, in the name of her granddaughter's memorial fund, Elizabeth Ann Swanson.
Ruth Hughes
Ruth E. Hughes, 84, of Poulsbo died Oct. 9, 2001, at Martha & Mary Health Care Center.
She was born April 20, 1917, in Cannon Falls, Minn., to Harry and Anna Hines. She graduated from Winona State Teacher's College in Winona, Minn.
She was an elementary school teacher.
She enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
She was a Methodist.
Survivors include two sons, Dr. Peter Mjos of Anchorage, Alaska, and Dr. David Mjos of Colorado Springs, C; a daughter, Julie Mjos MacGregor of Bainbridge Island; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul O. Mjos in 1967.
A memorial service will be held next summer in Willmar, Minn.
Jacklin Fry
Jacklin Otis Fry, 72, of Kingsland, Ga., died Oct. 13, 2001, at Camden Medical Center in Georgia.
She was born March 24, 1929, in Vallejo, Calif., to Nathaniel Lindenmuth and Violet Otis.
She worked at Harrison Hospital for more than 20 years.
She was a member of Kingsland V.F.W. Post 8385 and was a Methodist.
She is survived by a daughter, Jere Ivy of Georgia; two grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Private services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Allison Memorial Chapel of St. Marys, Ga.

William Wesolowski
William Wesolowski, 49, of Bainbridge Island died after a lengthy illness Oct. 14, 2001.
He was born Nov. 16, 1951, in Leominster, Mass., to Matthew and Gloria (Cormier) Wesolowski. He graduated in 1969 from Narragansett High School in Templeton, Mass. He attended the University of Massachusetts and graduated in 1978 from the College of Redwoods in Eureka, Calif.
He married
Susan Bush on Aug. 2, 1981, in Falmouth, Mass.
He was a surveyor for 22 years.
He enjoyed coaching baseball and soccer.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Sam and David, both of Bainbridge Island; two sisters, Sally Oksanish of Westminster, Mass., and Mary Golia of New Jersey.
A memorial service will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Conger Hall, 1310 Madison Ave., on Bainbridge Island. Arrangements are under the direction of Kass Funeral Home.

Joann Notar
Joann Notar, 72, of Bremerton died Oct. 11, 2001, at home.
She was born Feb. 11, 1929, in Nevada, to Louis and Mae (Walker) Notar. She attended school in Bremerton.
She worked at Naval Hospital Bremerton in food service for 29 years, retiring in 1980.
She was a member of Eagles Auxiliary and attended King of Glory Lutheran Church in Purdy.
She enjoyed tube embroidery.
Survivors include a brother, Louis G. of Port Orchard; and a sister, Edith Holt of Bremerton. She was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Kettenring.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday and Oct. 26, both at Miller-Woodlawn Funeral Home. A memorial service will be at 11:30 a.m. Oct. 27 at King of Glory Lutheran Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Miller-Woodlawn Funeral Home.

Jeanette Evans
Jeanette Evans, 48, of Bremerton died of cancer Oct. 14, 2001, in Seabeck.
She was born Oct. 6, 1953, in Carmel, Calif., to Albert and Helen Evans (Gibson). She graduated in 1971 from high school in Monterey, Calif.
She was a waitress for several years at Kitsap Golf and County Club.
She enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include three sisters, Pam Clark and Shirley Feliciano of Bremerton and Thelma Graham of Monterey; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Bobbie Woods in 1999.
A private service will be held.

Willard Beadle
Willard R. Beadle, 84, of Hansville, died Oct. 14, 2001, at Harrison Hospital.
He was born July 25, 1917, in Worland, Wyo., to William and Bertha (Foster) Beadle. He graduated in 1934 from Worland High School and in 1942 from Tri State University.
He joined the Navy in 1934, retiring in 1956 after 22 years.
He achieved the rank of lieutenant commander.
He later worked at Convair Aviation, North American Aviation and McDonnell Douglas, where he worked on the first Apollo Moon Mission.
He also wrote and published a book "Aviation Pioneers."
Survivors include two sons, Willard R. II of Hansville and Donald E. of Alaska; a daughter, Linnea Chase of Seattle; two brothers, Henry of California and William of Wyoming; four sisters, Marguerite of California and Shirley, Ida and Idris all of Wyoming; his former wife, Pauline of Bremerton; and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, Frances.
He will be buried at sea by the Navy. Local arrangements are under the direction of Poulsbo Mortuary, The Stone Chapel.
