Harry Chinn
Harry L. Chinn, 74, of Port Orchard died Aug. 17, 2001, at his home.
He was born Oct. 28, 1926, in Seattle to Lung and Louie (Shee) Chin.
Mr. Chinn served in the Navy during World War II and the Korean War.
He was an equipment specialist at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard for 32 years, retiring in 1981.
He is survived by one brother, Charles of Bremerton; and one sister, Mary Ann Louie of Las Vegas.
A funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Pendleton-Gilchrist Funeral Home at Rill Chapel. Inurnment will be at Miller-Woodlawn Memorial Park.
Robert Madden
Robert Ellis Madden, 75, of Bremerton died following a long illness Aug. 16, 2001, in Bremerton.
He was born Dec. 4, 1925, in Latah to Chet and Ethel Fine. He graduated from West Seattle High School and completed a pipefitting apprenticeship at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard in 1952.
He married
Etta Plummer on March 5, 1945.
Mr. Madden served in the Navy from 1943 to 1946, achieving the rank of seaman first class. He was awarded the World War II Victory Medal and the Asiatic-Pacific Area Campaign Medal.
He later was a leadingman pipefitter at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard in Shop 56. He retired as a supervisor in 1975 after 31 years.
Mr. Madden enjoyed hunting and fishing with his family.
Survivors include his wife; one son, Robert J. of Bremerton; two daughters, Donna Dengler of Wye Lake and Kathy Hudgins of Port Orchard; one brother, Jack of Hansville; two stepbrothers, Leonard Madden and James Landers; one sister, Marge Landerville of Edmonds; four half-sisters, Janet Mahan, Mary Gibbs, Jackie Berlogar and JoAnn Ramos; four stepsisters, Jackie Higbee, Pat Price, Jean Mitchell and Louella Bernadine; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a half-brother, James Madden and a step-brother, Bud Landers.
A remembrance will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the home of Kathy and Virgil Hudgins, 1688 Mountain View Road E. in Port Orchard.
Jamie Maxon
Jamie Michelle Maxon, 33, of Bremerton died Aug. 17, 2001, at Harrison Hospital.
She was born July 25, 1968, in Bremerton to Gary and Mary Lou (Livick) Maxon. She attended Central Kitsap schools.
She was a clerk at a convenience store.
She is survived by her mother; two sisters, Melanie Sorgenfrei of Port Orchard and Melinda Mottner of Bremerton; and her maternal grandparents, Claudine and Jim Elliott of Union. She was preceded in death by her father in 1981.
Private family services were held at Forest Lawn cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel.
Willy Wilson
Jim W. "Willy" Wilson, 71, of Bremerton died of cancer Aug. 18, 2001, in Silverdale.
He was born Dec. 9, 1929, in Seattle to William and Mary (Kneff) Wilson. He attended schools in Clearwater, near Hoquiam.
On March 10, 1967, he married
Mary Titus in Hoquiam.
He served in the Navy during the Korean War. He drove logging trucks as a youth, later was a truck driver for Ace Paving. He retired in 1991.
He enjoyed digging razor clams and was an avid fisherman.
Survivors include his wife; one stepson, Chuck Skillen of Montesano; two stepdaughters, Sandy Keely of Springfield, Ore., and Jewel Hurley of Newburg, Ore.; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Private family services will be held. Arrangements are under the direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel with cremation at Cherry Grove Memorial Park.

Gladys Keyes
Gladys Keyes, 75, of Bremerton died July 21, 2001, in Port Orchard.
She was born May 12, 1926, in South Dakota to Lester and Sadie (Tessin) Redman.
She married
Aaron Keyes in Minnesota in January 1945. He preceded her in death in 1991.
Mrs. Keyes was a cook at Forest Ridge Convalescent Center in Bremerton for 10 years. She enjoyed cooking and baking.
Survivors include two sons, Aaron of Belfair and Jerry of Bremerton; one daughter, Betty Goodrow of Port Orchard; one brother, Walter Redman of Bremerton; two sisters, Wava Bjerken of Luverne, Minn., and Mary Aws of Renton; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She also was preceded in death by a daughter, JoAnn Olason of Belfair.
Private services are planned. Inurnment will be at Miller-Woodlawn Memorial Park.
Hadie Neuson
Hadie F. Neuson, 47, of Bremerton died Aug. 13, 2001, in Bremerton.
She was born Feb. 8, 1954, in Spanish Town, Jamaica. She graduated from Kelly Girls School in England, and in 1988 from Olympic College.
She married
Audie Neuson on May 21, 1981, in Bremerton.
Mrs. Neuson was a customer representative for Puget Sound Energy for more than 21 years.
She was a member of Toastmasters and Credit Professionals International. She was a pastoral council member at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Bremerton.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Allen Cherry and Christian, both of Bremerton; one daughter, Brittany of Bremerton; and brothers and sisters in England and Jamaica. She was preceded in death by her parents, Reuben and Carmen Mathis.
Visitation will be at 9 a.m. Saturday at Lewis Funeral Chapel, followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m. Interment
will be at Forest Lawn cemetery.
Marian Trauth
Marian L. Trauth, 83, of Suquamish died Aug. 20, 2001, at Island Health and Rehabilitation Center on Bainbridge Island.
She was born April 26, 1918, in Laramie, Wyo., to William and Catherine (McCay) Edwards. She graduated from Bremerton High School.
She married
Charles Trauth on July 15, 1935, in Bremerton. He preceded her in death in 1998.
Mrs. Trauth enjoyed reading and going to the movies.
Survivors include one son, Charles Jr. of Bainbridge Island; two daughters, Mary Lou Tate of Suquamish and Patricia Beggerow of Suquamish; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
A private graveside service will be held at Ivy Green cemetery in Bremerton. Arrangements are under the direction of Poulsbo Mortuary, The Stone Chapel.

William LeClair
William Earl LeClair, 90, of Tahuya died of a stroke July 29, 2001, in Port Angeles.
He was born Jan. 17, 1911, in Seattle to John Dominick and Ina May (Robb) LeClair.
He married
Lottie Irene Parr in Seattle in 1937. She preceded him in death in 1974.
He married
Lucille in December 1974 in Riverside. She also preceded him in death.
Mr. LeClair was a lineman for Seattle Transit.
He enjoyed golfing and was an avid sportsman.
Survivors include one daughter, Donna Andersen of Sequim; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
No service is planned.
Arrangements are under the direction of Harper-Ridgeview Funeral Home in Port Angeles.
Sally Netzell
Sally Netzell, 64, of Silverdale died of pneumonia Aug. 17, 2001, at Harrison Hospital.
She was born June 26, 1937, in Seattle to Sidney Madge and Mavis Blenz.
She married
Richard Netzell in 1982.
Mrs. Netzell was a Catholic.
Survivors include her husband; and one stepdaughter, Tracy of Portland, Ore. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Julie Counterman; and a son, Mike Sijota.

Raymond Demastus
Raymond G. Demastus, 80, of Bremerton died of heart failure Aug. 8, 2001, in Bremerton.
He was born Nov. 1, 1920, in Tacoma to Andrew and Kelsie (Blair) Libsack. He graduated from high school in 1938 in Tacoma.
Mr. Demastus served in the Marine Corps from 1942 to 1944, receiving the Honorable Service lapel button.
He later was a logger.
He enjoyed fishing and the outdoors.
He is survived by his brother, Ralph Libsack of Silverdale.
No service is planned. Interment
will be at Tahoma National cemetery in Kent.
Denise Doucette-Sund
Denise Kay Doucette-Sund, 47, of Port Orchard died of pneumonia Aug. 20, 2001, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Puyallup.
She was born Jan. 13, 1954, in Waukegan, Ill., to Don and Donna (Eagle) Doucette. She attended South Kitsap High School and Olympic College.
She worked in food service.
Survivors include her companion, Pat Delvo of Port Orchard; two daughters, Dawn Rowe of Renton and Tawnya Olson of Kent; four brothers, Mike, Bruce, Cubby and Pat, all of Port Orchard; and one sister, Juanita Doucette of Port Orchard.
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Sept. 1 at the home of her brother, Mike, 9815 Glenwood Road in Port Orchard.
Theo Fernan
Theo F. Fernan, 80, of Silverdale died Aug. 18, 2001, of cancer in Bremerton.
She was born Jan. 14, 1921, in Carpenter Creek, Mont., to Herbert and Florence Atkinson. She graduated in 1939 from Bothell High School.
She married
William Fernan in Seattle in 1951. He preceded her in death in 1987.
Mrs. Fernan was a homemaker.
She enjoyed cake decorating and had served as a 4-H Club leader. She was a member of Silverdale United Methodist Church.
Survivors include one son, Thomas of Gig Harbor; three daughters, Roberta White of Poulsbo, Patricia Cotton of Snoqualmie and Sharon Wyllys of Snohomish; one brother, Al Atkinson of Blaine; one sister, Lois McKee of Seattle; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. She was also preceded in death by a son, William, and a sister, Charlotte Steenmeyer.
A memorial service is planned for 11 a.m. Friday at Silverdale United Methodist Church. Private interment will be at Miller-Woodlawn Memorial Park.
