Tex Allison
Tex Allison, 74, of Bremerton died Nov. 19, 1998, at Belmont Terrace Convalescent Center, of lung cancer.
He was born Dec. 21, 1923, in White Butte, S.D., to Arch and Mary (Schwellenbach) Allison. He was raised in Camas, Wash., graduating from Camas High School in 1947. He attended Clark College in Vancouver, Wash.
Mr. Allison served in the Army from 1943 to 1946 in the South Pacific. He worked at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard for 13 years until his retirement in 1966.
He was a member of the VFW and the American Motorcycle Association for 18 years.
Survivors include a sister, Elaine Smith of Bremerton; and three grandchildren.
No services are planned.

Donald Huey
Donald Robert Huey, 76, of Hansville died Nov. 21, 1998, at his home.
He was born March 3, 1922, in Seattle to Nathan and Dora (Parker) Huey. He was raised in Seattle, graduating from Roosevelt High School in 1940. He later graduated with honors from the University of Washington, Tau Beta Pi.
On July 7, 1977, he married
Joan Crall in Fairbanks, Alaska.
Mr. Huey served in the Army from 1943 to 1946. He served in the Asian Pacific and in Korea. In 1968, he transferred to the Retired Reserves as a commanding officer. He retired as a Lieutenant Colonel in 1982. He worked as a chief estimator and project manager for Lease-Crutcher-Lewis, General Contractors, for over 25 years, retiring in 1989.
He was a member of the American Arbitration Association Panel of Commercial Arbitrators.
Survivors include his wife; his mother; two sons, Jerry James of Hansville and Marc James of Poulsbo; six daughters, V. Parker Huey of Kirkland, Marsha Fine of Kirkland, Sharon Lulham of Graham, Paula Huffman of Orcas Island, Cindy Ewing of Spokane and Susan James of Snohomish; a brother, Richard of Camano Island; a sister, Dorothy Running of Sisters, Ore.; 12 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Greg in 1992.
A funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Nov. 28 at Poulsbo Mortuary, "The Stone Chapel." A committal service will follow at Hansville cemetery.
Marion Malkowski
Marion Matthew "Mike" Malkowski, 78, of Bremerton died Nov. 23, 1998.
He was born Feb. 25, 1920, in Cedarville, Mich., to John and Victoria (Dumbach) Malkowski. He graduated from Cedarville High School.
Mr. Malkowski served in the Navy from 1942 to 1945, and also in 1950.
He worked at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard for 32 years until his retirement in 1978.
He was a member of the VFW, the West Side Improvement Club, a volunteer firefighter for District No. 8, a member of the Knights of Columbus, the American Legion, Star of the Sea, the Pipefitters Union, past Scout Master for 501 and a Boy Scouts of America participant.
Survivors include his wife, June (Langley) of Bremerton; two sons, Ervin of Port Orchard and Donald of Bremerton; a daughter, Judy Fox of Bremerton; a brother, Frank of Cedarville, Mich.; six sisters, Wanda Dutcher of Cedarville, Mich., Cora Fountain of De Tour, Mich., Mary Whal and Dorothy Stec, both of Stalwart, Mich., Effie Walker of El Paso, Texas, and Francis Pesinski of Sault Ste. Marie, Mich.; three grandchildren, Theresa Vail and Brock Perryman, both of Bremerton and Michael Lane of Port Orchard ; an d five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from noon to 1 p.m. Nov. 28, with a funeral service immediately following, both at Miller Woodlawn Funeral Home.

Ettral Morritt
Ettral La Verne Morritt, 72, of Bremerton died Nov. 25, 1998.
He was born May 10, 1926, in Muskegon, Mich., to John and Wilda (Fast) Morritt. He was raised and educated in Grand Haven, Mich.
On Aug. 14, 1948, he married
Rose Polero in Trenton, N.J.
Mr. Morritt served in the Navy from 1944 to 1967 in World War II, Korea and Vietnam. He achieved the rank of E-8, senior chief commissaryman. He was awarded the National Defense Service Medal. During his service in the Navy, he obtained his GED. After retiring, he attended Olympic Community College for two years. He worked for 13 years at Moe's Custom Meats in Bremerton.
He was a member of the Masons, the Gold Mountain Golf Club and the VFW Post No. 4992.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Krist of San Diego, Calif., and Larry of Seattle; a daughter, Shelly Conrad of Bremerton; and seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Mickey in 1977.
Visitation will be from noon to 5 p.m. Nov. 27 at Lewis Funeral Chapel.
A Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Nov. 28 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Interment
at Forest Lawn cemetery.

Edwin Norman
Edwin Norman, 54, of Poulsbo died Nov. 23, 1998, at Northwoods Lodge.
He was born Oct. 13, 1944, in Bremerton to Catherine (Massett) Norman. He was raised in Belfair.
He worked for 13 years at Kitsap Applied Technology.
Survivors include his mother; and a brother, John of Belfair. He was precede in death by his father, Thomas C. Norman in 1987.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Nov. 27 at Miller Woodlawn Funeral Home, with a graveside service immediately following.

Bradley Wells
Bradley Dale Wells Sr., 53, of Port Orchard died Nov. 17, 1998, at Harrison Memorial Hospital, of Lou Gehrig's Disease.
He was born Jan. 19, 1945, in Burbank, Calif., to Vernon and Helen (Herr) Wells. He was raised in Vashon and Fauntleroy, graduating from Fauntleroy High School in 1963. He graduated from the University of Washington in 1969.
On Jan. 23, 1995, he married
Gayle Lindberg in Reno, Nev.
Mr. Wells worked as an agent for Washington State Ferries for 25 years.
He was a member of the NRA, the American Radio Relay League and 4-H.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, Vernon and Patrick, both of Seattle and Bradley Jr. of Port Orchard; a stepson, Jeff of Port Orchard; four daughters, Theresa, Wanda, Dorothy and Mary, all of Seattle; a stepdaughter, Anissa of Bellevue; a brother, Darryl of Federal Way; a sister, Mary of Seattle; 11 grandchildren, Mercedez, Sharlene, Chris, Julianna, Christopher, Matthew, Kaylee, Brittany, Allison, Katy and Madelyn. He was preceded in death by a son, Eric of Plano, Texas.
A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Nov. 29 at Fauntleroy Church, UCC, 9260 California Ave. SW, Seattle.

Herbert Larsen
Herbert K. Larsen, 69, of Kingston died Nov. 21, 1998, in Kingston.
He was born Nov. 24, 1928, in Seattle.
On Dec. 10, 1949, he married
Barbara McLay in Seattle. She preceded him in death in 1993.
Mr. Larsen served in the Marine Corps. He worked as a manager for Tenneco Inc., an ink manufacturing company, until his retirement in 1992.
Survivors include a son; Ronald; two daughters, Theresa Goodman and Sandra Kelley; and six grandchildren, Kristopher and Angela Goodman, Carmen, Gwen and Joel McMahon and Chelsea Kelley.
A memorial gathering will be from noon to 4 p.m. Nov. 27 at the South County Senior Center, 220 Railroad Ave., Edmonds.

Lorena Entriken
Lorena Entriken, 96, of Bremerton died Nov. 23, 1998, at Oyster Bay Nursing Home.
She was born Oct. 9, 1902, in Milford, Mich., to Dudley and Anna (Wisensell) Long. She was raised in Oregon, graduating from Kettle Falls High School in 1922. She later graduated with a degree in elementary education from Washington State Normal School (now Eastern Washington University).
In 1922, she married
Roscoe Garner. He preceded her in death in 1960. She later married
Wayne Entriken. He preceded her in death in 1973.
Mrs. Entriken worked as a teacher in several school districts in Washington.
She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary.
Survivors include a brother, Albert Long of Entiat; and a sister, Ruby Kahn of Bremerton.
Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Nov. 27 at Greenwood Memorial Park in Bend, Ore.
Arrangements are by Lewis Funeral Chapel.

Stanley Christensen Sr.
Stanley Martin Christensen Sr., 81, of Bremerton died Nov. 16, 1998, at a home care center in Port Orchard.
He was born May 31, 1917, in Grand Forks, N.D., to Louis and Alma (Jacobson) Christensen. He was raised and educated in Grand Forks, N.D.
Mr. Christensen served in the Army during World War II. He was awarded the World War II Victory Medal. He worked at the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and then for the U.S. Postal Service until his retirement.
Survivors include three sons, Doug of Seabeck, Stanley Jr. of Baltimore, Md., and Duane of Albuquerque, N.M.; and eight grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Martin, in July 1998.
Cremation is at Lewis Funeral Chapel.
