Tracy E. Davis, 20, of Olalla died June 24, 2001, at home.
She was born Aug. 23, 1980, in Seattle. She attended South Kitsap High School.
She enjoyed music and sports. She attended Port Orchard Church of Christ.
Survivors include her guardians, Minnie Tade and Debbie Adamson; a brother, China; and her extended foster family.
Family visitation will be today and open visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, both at Pendleton-Gilchrist Funeral Home at Rill Chapel. A memorial service will be at 4:30 p.m. Thursday at Port Orchard Church of Christ, 2585 Carr Lane SE.

Jack Sanford
Jack E. Sanford, 45, of Port Orchard died following an extended illness June 23, 2001, at home.
He was born Sept. 23, 1955, in Bremerton to Jackie and Anita (Price) Sanford. He was a 1974 graduate of South Kitsap High School.
He married
Colleen Haselman on Aug. 29, 1975, in Port Orchard.
He was a roofer for 25 years.
He enjoyed the rodeo and was a member of Little Britches and South Kitsap Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include his wife; his mother; two sons, Jacob and Jeremy, both of Port Orchard; a daughter, Emily of Port Orchard; a brother, S. Joe; a sister, Mary Sanford Pugh of Port Orchard; and three grandchildren.
A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at the family home, 2260 West Ave., in Port Orchard.
Arrangements are under the direction of Kitsap Cremation and Burial Society.
Winnifred Eads
Winnifred May Eads, 84, of Bremerton died June 22, 2001, at Forest Ridge Health and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born Nov. 2, 1916, in Colorado Springs, Colo., to George and Mary (Roddy) Peck. She attended Kimberly High School in Kimberly, Idaho.
She married
Joseph Eads Jr. on Sept. 26, 1936, in Twin Falls, Idaho.
She was a clerk and seamstress for 25 years.
She enjoyed playing the organ and singing.
She was a member of Abundant Life Four Square Church.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Jack of Port Orchard; a daughter, Jo Anne Spohn of Poulsbo; a stepbrother, Robert Rice of Vancouver, Wash.; a sister, Helen Askew of Seattle; two stepsisters, Virginia Lavender of Bremerton and Vyonda Riddle of Mountain Home, Idaho; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert and Clarence Peck.
A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Charleston Baptist Church, 1302 Lafayette N., in Bremerton. Arrangements are under the direction of Miller-Woodlawn Funeral Home.

Andrew Maier
Andrew Maier, 88, of Port Orchard died June 25, 2001, at Harrison Hospital.
He was born Jan. 28, 1913, in Eureka, S.D. He was educated in South Dakota.
He served in the Army from 1934 to 1938.
He was a building inspector for the City of Port Orchard before going to at the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard where he worked for 28 years. He retired in 1972.
He enjoyed gardening and horseshoe pitching. He was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church.
Survivors include his wife, Marie (Hinsz) Maier of Port Orchard; two sons, Dale and Steve, both of Port Orchard; three daughters, Darlean Hanner of Bellevue, Audrey Samuelson of Hansville and Beverly Godfrey of Silverdale; two brothers, Gottheilf of Jamestown, N.D., and Alfred of Austin, Texas; a sister, Hildegard Baumann of Ashley, N.D.; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by seven siblings.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m to 1 p.m. Saturday at Pendleton-Gilchrist Funeral Home at Rill Chapel. A funeral service will follow at 3 p.m. at Bethany Lutheran Church in Port Orchard. Interment
will be at Sunset Lane cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Pendleton-Gilchrist Funeral Home.

Curley Arnold
Norbert J. "Curley" Arnold, 70, of Puyallup died of cancer June 21, 2001, in Bremerton.
He was born Jan. 10, 1931, in Hays, Kansas, to Wendelin and Leonora Arnold.
He married
Estelynn Moss on May 15, 1953. She preceded him in death in 1994.
He served in the Army from 1947 to 1950.
He worked for the International Association of Heat and Frost Insulators and was a member of Local 97 in Anchorage.
He enjoyed gardening and spending time with his grandchildren.
He was a Catholic.
Survivors include his mother of Puyallup; two sons, Bradley of Bremerton and Todd of Belfair; a sister, Ida of Tacoma; a brother, Reuben of Tacoma; and four grandchildren. He also was preceded in death by a sister, Jeanette; and a brother, Merle.
Private services are planned. Arrangements are under the direction of Miller-Woodlawn Funeral Home.

Michael O'Herron
Michael O'Herron, 52, of Bremerton died June 21, 2001, at Harrison Hospital.
He was born March 1, 1949, in Seattle to Spence and Jane O'Herron. He graduated from Franklin High School in Seattle.
He enjoyed all sports, particularly baseball.
Survivors include a son, Michael of Seattle; a daughter, Allyson McGavick of Federal Way; and a sister, Kathy O'Herron of Santa Cruz, Calif.

Betty-Ann
Kehaulani Lovaas
Betty-Ann Kehaulani Lovaas, 53, of Bremerton died of cancer June 23, 2001, at Harrison Hospital.
She was born Jan. 31, 1948, in Honolulu, Hawaii, to William and Florence Miller. She attended Yokahama High School in Japan.
She was a beautician for 10 years, retiring in 2000.
She enjoyed reading and spending time with friends and family.
Survivors include two sons, Jimmy of Port Orchard and Christen James of South Bend, Ind.; three brothers Edward Lee of Wahiqwa, Hawaii, and Bill and Tom Miller, both of Poulsbo; and one granddaughter.
A memorial will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Illahee State Park.

Norm Hermanson
Norbert "Norm" Hermanson, 59, of Silverdale died June 25, 2001, at Harborview Medical Center.
He was born Dec. 10, 1941, in Waukon, Iowa, to Roy and Bernice Hermanson.
He served in the Navy from 1959 to 1963.
He married
Mattie Lorene Clement on July 19, 1963, in Las Vegas.
He was a superintendent for Puget Sound Naval Shipyard for 14 years. He later was a division manager for Johnson Controls for six years.
He enjoyed spending time with his family and was a member of the Masons. He was a Protestant.
Survivors include his wife; his mother of Huran, S.D.; a son, Norbert of Kent; two daughters, Norene Hermanson of Bremerton and Jennifer Moore Hermanson of Kent; four brothers, Al, Jim, Earl and his twin, Herbert; a sister, Janice Dosch; and two grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Haven of Rest Funeral Home in Gig Harbor. A funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday following by a graveside service, also at Haven of Rest.

David Boede
David W. Boede, 59, of Bremerton died of cancer June 20, 2001, in Bremerton.
He was born Sept. 22, 1941, in Bremerton to Winfred and Pauline Boede. He was a 1959 graduate of Central Kitsap High School.
He married
Nenita Garcia in Angeles City, Philippines, on Jan. 19, 1963.
Mr. Boede served in the Air Force from 1961 to 1965.
He worked in shop stores at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard for 25 years, retiring in 1997.
Mr. Boede enjoyed spending time with his family and he built models. He belonged to a model club for many years.
He is survived by his wife; his mother; a son, J. Boede of Bremerton; and a sister, Nancy Green of Anchorage, Alaska.
A private family memorial service was held Saturday at Miller-Woodlawn Funeral Home.

Kimberly Bunting
Kimberly Bunting, 44, of Belfair died of complications from liver disease June 23, 2001, at Harrison Hospital.
She was born April 3, 1957, in Bremerton to Allen and Charlotte (Garfield) Combs Sr. She was a 1975 graduate of West High School in Bremerton.
She was a homemaker. She enjoyed helping others. She was a member of the Assiniboine-Sioux Tribe and Hillcrest Assembly of God.
Survivors include her father of Silverdale; a son, Jason of Shelton; a daughter, April Mae of Shelton; brothers, Tim and Kevin Combs, both of Silverdale, Harry Combs of Bremerton and Allen Combs Jr. of Seattle; and two sisters, Cathleen Squire of Belfair and Louise Myers of Covington, Ind. She was preceded in death by her mother and a granddaughter, Krista.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. today at Lewis Funeral Chapel. A funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, also at Lewis Funeral Chapel, followed by a reception at the home of the Combs Family, 605 Fairwood in Bremerton. Interment
will be at Forest Lawn cemetery.
