Margaret Avery-Bruemmer
Margaret Violet Avery-Bruemmer, 71, of Seabeck died June 17, 2001, at home.
She was born March 4, 1930, in Bremerton to Dallas and Violet (Waltenburg) Avery. She graduated from Bremerton High School in 1949 and attended Olympic College.
She married
Henry Bruemmer Jr. on March 5, 1950, in Bremerton.
She was a homemaker and co-owner of the Silverdale dump.
She enjoyed reading and writing poetry.
Survivors include her husband of Crosby; two sons, Rodney of Okanogon and Perry of Bremerton; a daughter, Peggy Stutzke of Hoodsport; a stepson, Henry Bruemmer of Gig Harbor; a brother, Dallas Avery Jr. of Bremerton; two sisters, Patricia Rowland of Maui, Hawaii, and Mary Ellen
Lee of Bremerton; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday with a funeral service immediately following at Miller-Woodlawn Funeral Home. Interment
will take place at Forest Lawn cemetery.

Keven Tessier
Keven Michael Tessier, 32, of Bremerton died June 11, 2001, at Harrison Hospital.
He was born Nov. 4, 1968, in Anchorage, Alaska, to Bonnie Tessier and Terri Davis.
He married
his wife, Chelsea, on July 4, 1994, in Port Orchard.
He was a tattoo artist for the past 10 years.
He enjoyed auto customizing and camping.
Survivors include his wife; his father of Alaska; two sons, Shane and Todd Clugh, both of Bremerton; three daughters, Occeana, Tiarra and Brittany, all of Bremerton; and a grandmother, Katharyn Previtt of Alaska. He was preceded in death by a son, Karl Lee Davis.
A memorial service will be at 5 p.m. June 30 at Evergreen City Park, on Park Avenue and 14th Street in Bremerton.

Manuel Perez
Manuel Rodriguez Perez, 47, of Bremerton died June 11, 2001, in Bremerton.
He was born May 29, 1954, in Salinas, Calif., to Angel and Ruth (Rodriguez) Perez.
Mr. Perez served in the Army from 1971 to 1974.
He was a data clerk at a shipyard in Vallejo, Calif., and at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard.
Mr. Perez enjoyed camping and fishing.
He is survived by his wife, Rita (Garcia) Perez; his mother, Ruth Alberts of Sunnyvale, Calif.; a son, Manuel of Vallejo; two daughters, Evette of Vallejo and Melissa of Port Orchard; and three grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 1 to 5 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday at Haven of Rest Funeral Home in Gig Harbor. A funeral service will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday, also at Haven of Rest. Interment
and a graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Tahoma National cemetery in Kent.
Bobbie Johnson
Bobbie L. Johnson, 60, of Poulsbo died June 10, 2001, at Harrison Hospital.
He was born Nov. 10, 1940, in Kelso to Victor and Merle (Enos) Johnson.
He married
Lisa A. Gould on Sept. 7, 1996, in Bremerton.
Mr. Johnson worked in logging and well drilling. He was a member of the Kitsap County Destruction Derby Association.
Survivors include his wife; four sons, Robert of Poulsbo; Butch of Montana, Jim of Kentucky and Tom of Astoria, Ore.; two daughters, Tammy Brown of Astoria and Bonnie Johnson of Walla Walla; two brothers, Tiny Ray of Kelso and Rick of Castle Rock; two stepsons, Joseph Durham and Cody Johnson, both of Poulsbo; a stepdaughter, Ashley Durham of Poulsbo; his former wives, Patricia Johnson of Toledo and Mercedes Kalista of Astoria; and 19 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Larry and Bruce.
A gathering for family and friends will be from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday at the family home on Island Lake. Arrangements are under the direction of Pendleton-Gilchrist Funeral Home at Rill Chapel.
Clifford Brown
Former Bremerton resident Clifford Cox Brown, 80, of Chimacum died of Parkinson's disease June 13, 2001, at Kah Tai Care Center in Port Townsend.
He was born Dec. 22, 1920, in Pacific City to Clifford and Helen (Frederickson) Brown Sr. He graduated from Bremerton High School.
He married
Elizabeth Anne Johnston on Dec. 1, 1962.
Mr. Brown served in the Army Air Force from 1942 to 1945. He later was a federal civil servant for 28 years, retiring in 1973.
He enjoyed track and field and was a member of the Seattle Mountaineers.
Survivors include his wife; and a sister, Florence Abbey of LaConner. He was preceded in death by a brother, Donald.
Inurnment will be at Evergreen-Washelli Memory Glen in Seattle. Arrangements are under the direction of Kosec Funeral Home in Port Townsend.

Eugene Winslow
Eugene Dale Winslow, 81, of Bremerton died June 13, 2001, in Olalla.
He was born March 30, 1920, in Waverly to Hardin and Clarissa (Biggs) Winslow. He graduated in 1939 from South Kitsap High School in 1939.
He married
Irene Ohman on June 29, 1940.
Mr. Winslow served in the Navy from 1944 to 1946. He later was a truck driver, delivering home heating oil throughout Kitsap County. He retired in 1982.
He was a member of the Sons of Norway, Oslo 35 in Bremerton.
Survivors include his wife; four sons, Dale of Kirkland and Dan, Roy and Brian, all of Olalla; two daughters, Nadine Haberman of Southworth and Linnea Nash of Olalla; 16 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Haven of Rest Funeral Home and cemetery in Gig Harbor. Committal will follow, also at Haven of Rest.

Honey Everett
Gladys "Honey" Everett, 70, of Bremerton died of heart failure June 13, 2001, at Harrison Hospital.
She was born May 15, 1931, in Bremerton to Bill and Gladys (Williams) Pease. She attended Bremerton High School.
She married
Don Everett on Sept. 3, 1955, in Tracyton.
Mrs. Everett enjoyed the ocean and camping. She was a member of Summit Avenue Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Donny and Steve, both of Bremerton; four daughters, Terra of San Diego, Melody of Bremerton, and Debbie Sharrow and Claudia, both of Olympia; a brother, Bill Pease of Bremerton; 10 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
A gathering for family and friends will be from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the family home, 1919 Sylvan Way in Bremerton.

Warren Lutton
Warren Wayne Lutton, 80, of Bremerton died June 11, 2001, at Harrison Hospital.
He was born April 3, 1921, in Edmonds to Howard and Mary Louise (Dixon) Lutton. He graduated from high school in Iowa.
He married
Mary M. Cox. She preceded him in death in 1983.
Mr. Lutton served in the Marines from 1942 to 1946, achieving the rank of staff sergeant. He was awarded the World War II Victory Medal and the Presidential Unit Citation.
He was an auto mechanic for 30 years, retiring in 1980.
Survivors include three sons, Larry of Tahuya, Don of Yakima and Ron of Cashmere; a stepson, Jim Whittaker of Kent; a sister, Shirley Hutchins of Portland, Ore.; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He also was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Mary; and six siblings, Peggy, Grace, Murray, Gene, David and Richard.
A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. June 22 at Evergreen Memorial Park in East Wenatchee.
Local arrangements are under the direction of Tuell-McKee of Bremerton.
Mike Warren
Jerry Michael "Mike" Warren, 50, of Silverdale died in a plane crash June 10, 2001, near Ferndale.
He was born July 9, 1950, in Cairo, Ill., to Guy and Nadine (Minetree) Warren. He graduated in 1968 from Hopkinsville High School in Hopkinsville, Ky.
Mr. Warren served in the Navy as a submariner for six years. He later worked in civil service for 29 years until retiring.
He enjoyed airplanes and snowmobiling.
Survivors include his mother of Danville, Va.; a son, Jason of Port Orchard; a brother, Don of Danville; and a half-sister, Sue Warren Burrier of Lexington, Ky. He was preceded in death by his father; his grandparents; and a brother, Tim.
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. today at his home on the grounds of the Apex Airport, 6195 Apex Road in Silverdale. Inurnment will be in Kentucky.
Buck Morrissey
Former Silverdale resident Harland "Buck" Morrissey, 73, of Apache Junction, Ariz., died of cancer May 16, 2001, in Apache Junction.
He was born Sept. 4, 1927, in Pontiac, Mich., to John and Rena (Burke) Morrissey.
He married
Jewell Nelson on Sept. 12, 1948, in Medford, Ore.
Mr. Morrissey served in the Navy from 1945 to 1967, retiring as a chief hospital corpsman.
He then worked 14 years in federal positions as an X-ray technician with Trident submarines at the Naval Submarine Base Bangor and then as a safety inspector at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard. He retired from PSNS in 1986.
Mr. Morrissey enjoyed square dancing and spending time with his grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife; four sons, Michael of Issaquah, Shawn of Honolulu, Mark of Chandler, Ariz. and Matthew of Silverdale; a daughter, Theresa Clowes of San Diego; a brother, John of Jacksonville, Fla.; four sisters, Patricia Bedford of Clarkston, Mich., Michaela Hagen of Orion, Mich., Maureen O'Neill of Marquette, Mich., and Kathy Hillman of Fibre, Mich.; 16 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, Norma Hundley.
At his request, no service is planned.

Lee Grady
Lee Grady, 70, of Belfair died June 11, 2001, at the Washington Veterans Home in Retsil.
He was born May 6, 1931, in Olympia to Phillip and Cora (Swanson) Grady.
He married
his wife, Sue, on Aug. 5, 1952, in Long Island, N.Y.
Mr. Grady served in the Air Force from 1949 to 1952.
He later worked in auto body repair at Osborn McCann in Tacoma. He retired in 1993.
Mr. Grady enjoyed fishing and motor home traveling.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, Jim of Gig Harbor and Lee and Steve, both of Belfair; a daughter, Debbie Crossley of Belfair; a sister, Adaline Hosfield of Tacoma; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
