Elaine Hall
Elaine Hall, 64, of Bremerton died of cancer April 4, 2001, in Bremerton.
She was born June 9, 1936, in Junction City, Kan., to John and Gladys Cleveland. She was a 1955 graduate of Bremerton High School.
She married
Troy Hall on Dec. 28, 1957, in Bremerton.
Mrs. Hall enjoyed reading and cooking.
Survivors include her husband; her children, Michael of Phoenix, David and Karen (Hall) Thompson, both of Bremerton; a brother, Gary Cleveland of Woodinville; and three grandchildren.
At her request, no service will be held. Arrangements are under the direction of Tuell-McKee of Bremerton.
Harold Hart
Harold Edward Hart, 68, of Bainbridge Island died of cancer March 23, 2001, at his home.
He was born July 15, 1932, in Paducah, Ky., to Horace and Louise Hart. He graduated in 1952 from high school in Paducah.
He married
Carol Cooper on March 19, 1955, in Winslow.
Mr. Hart served in the Navy from 1952 to 1956. He later was a sporting goods representative for 39 years.
He enjoyed fishing and golf.
Survivors include his wife; four sons, Jim of Kennewick and Brian, Jeffrey and Steven, all of Bainbridge Island; a daughter, Rachelle Hart of Des Moines; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be July 21 at the home of Jeffrey Hart. Arrangements are under the direction of Miller-Woodlawn Funeral Home.
Jack Brown
Dr. Jack Ross Brown, 75, of Bainbridge Island died of a stroke April 3, 2001, at his home.
He was born Jan. 20, 1926, in Seattle to Rosswell Keeler and Lee (Deicken) Brown. He graduated in 1943 from Ballard High School in Seattle, in 1950 from the University of Washington and in 1955 from the University of Michigan Medical School in Ann Arbor, Mich.
He married
Judith Reynolds on Sept. 6, 1952, in Seattle.
Dr. Brown was a private in the Army from 1943 to 1946.
He then practiced medicine and later became a psychiatrist. His career spanned 32 years until his retirement in 1990.
Dr. Brown was a founding board member of Transitional Resources in Seattle and also founded the mental health service at Group Health in Seattle.
He was a member of the Society of Friends.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Craig Jacobrown of Indianola and Ross Brown of Newcastle, Australia; two daughters, Leyla Welkin of Olympia and Marcy Summers of Vashon Island; a brother, Charles of Edmonds; a sister, Joyce Johnson of Seattle; and 10 grandchildren.
A memorial service will be at 3:30 p.m. today at the University Friends Meeting, 4001 Ninth Ave. NE in Seattle.

Laura Conner
Former Bremerton resident Laura Mae Conner, 85, of Tacoma died of Alzheimer's disease March 28, 2001, in Tacoma.
She was born Aug. 1, 1915, in Livingston, Mont., to Perry and Bernice (Wise) Guy. She graduated in 1933 from Torrence High School in Torrence, Calif.
She married
Jack Oswell Conner on Nov. 11, 1939, in San Bernardino, Calif. He preceded her in death in 1987.
She and her husband owned Conner Hearing Aid Center in Bremerton for 15 years.
Survivors include two sons, Donald of Tacoma and Dennis of Seattle; a brother, Donald Guy of Woodlawn, Tenn.; and two grandchildren. She also was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Guy.
Inurnment will take place at Forest Lawn cemetery in Bremerton. Memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer's Association, 12721 30th Ave. NE, Suite 101, Seattle, WA 98125.
Lisa Hisaw
Lisa Michelle Hisaw, 32, of Bremerton died April 2, 2001, in Silverdale.
She was born July 13, 1968, in Hutchinson, Kan., to Ace and Beverly (Davis) Arwood. She graduated in 1986 from McKay High School in Salem, Ore., and in 1988 from Portland Community College in Portland, Ore. She attended the University of Hawaii in Honolulu.
She was a homemaker and social worker. She was a volunteer for community fund-raising events and enjoyed outdoor sports.
Survivors include her mother, Beverly Gold of Gold Bar; her father, Ace Arwood of Molalla, Ore.; her children, Brandin and Heather, both of Bremerton; a brother, Jeffrey Arwood of Gold Bar; and her grandparents, Juanita Davis of Troutdale, Ore., Katy DeWalt of Hutchinson and Arnold Arwood of Lyons, Kan.
A rosary was said Wednesday at St. Rose Catholic Church in Gresham, Ore. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. today at St. Mary of the Valley Catholic Church in Monroe. A luncheon will follow.

Sandra Powell
Sandra Powell, 39, of Port Orchard died March 31, 2001, following an automobile accident on Highway 302 in Pierce County.
She was born Feb. 6, 1962, in Bremerton to Douglas and Dorothy Powell. She graduated from Olympic High School.
She was a custodian at the Kitsap County Courthouse for six years. She enjoyed fishing and camping.
Survivors include her stepmother, Peggy Powell of Bremerton; a brother, Donald of Shelton; two sisters, Bonnie Smith of Port Orchard and Pam MacCary of Virginia.
A reception/gathering will be from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday in the hospitality room of Pendleton-Gilchrist Funeral Home at Rill Chapel.

Roni Feeser
Former Port Orchard resident Rhonda "Roni" Feeser, 51, of McCleary died of antilymphocytic syndrome (Lou Gehrig's disease) April 1, 2001, at Columbia Capital Medical Center in Olympia.
She was born May 26, 1949, in Port Orchard to Kenneth and Maxine (Solid) Boyer. She graduated in 1967 from South Kitsap High School and in 1994 from South Puget Sound Community College in Olympia.
She married
Henry "Hank" Feeser on Dec. 6, 1975, in Bremerton.
She was a security systems technician and monitor at Naval Hospital Bremerton for 15 years. She was retired.
Mrs. Feeser enjoyed gardening and making dollhouses and miniature furniture.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Shane of Lacey and Brandon of Elma; a daughter, Ginger of McCleary; a sister, Jacque Morris of Port Orchard; and one grandson.

Dolores Quinn
Dolores Quinn, 77, of Bremerton died of congestive heart failure April 5, 2001, at Martha & Mary Health Care Center in Poulsbo.
She was born Feb. 2, 1924, in Yankton, S.D., to Robert and Florence Flanagan. She graduated in 1942 from Lake Andes High School in Lake Andes, S.D.
She married
Edward Quinn Jr. on June 15, 1946, in Bremerton. He preceded her in death in 1981.
A homemaker, Mrs. Quinn was a teacher's aide with the Bremerton School District for 20 years, retiring in 1990.
She enjoyed playing bingo and was a fan of the Seattle Mariners. She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Bremerton.
Survivors include a son, Edward III of Bremerton; a daughter, Denise Rohman of Silverdale; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She also was preceded in death by a brother, Harry Flanagan.
A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 4215 Pine Road in Bremerton.

Fred Beatty
Fred J. Beatty, 79, of Bremerton died April 4, 2001, at Harrison Hospital.
He was born Oct. 8, 1921, in Vinland, Wash., to Guy and Julia (Berget) Beatty. He was a North Kitsap High School graduate.
Mr. Beatty served in the Army from 1944 to 1946. He received the World War II Victory Medal and the Asiatic-Pacific Service Medal.
He married
Belva Lundhagen in 1978 in Silverdale. She preceded him in death last year.
Mr. Beatty was a welder at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard for 30 years, retiring in 1970.
He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, the Sons of Norway and Vinland Lutheran Church in Poulsbo.
He is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. He also was preceded in death by his brothers, George and Roland.
Plans for a memorial service at Vinland Lutheran Church are pending. Arrangements are under the direction of Miller-Woodlawn Funeral Home.

Matt Lightfoot
Matthew Gordon "Matt" Lightfoot, 18, of Poulsbo died of mitral valve prolapse April 1, 2001, at his home.
He was born Dec. 10, 1982, in Port Washington, Wis., to Gerald and Bonnie Lightfoot. He was a senior at Central Kitsap High School. He had been accepted into the Coast Guard through the delayed entry program. He had planned to enter basic training in July.
He enjoyed sailing and outdoor activities.
He was a member of Liberty Harbor Four Square Church in Poulsbo.
Survivors include his parents, Gerald and Julye Lightfoot of Poulsbo, Bonnie and Thomas Spicer of Kittery, Maine, and Diane Yuhas of Silverdale; two brothers, Christopher Ebright of Phoenix and Eric Ebright of Denver; two sisters, Megan Lightfoot and Elizabeth Larsen, both of Poulsbo; and grandparents, Mary Lightfoot of Merced, Calif., Gordon and Dorothy Lightfoot of East Grand Forks, Minn. and Vera Pflieger of Pennsburg, Penn. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Linwood Pflieger.
A memorial service is planned for 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Charles Episcopal Church, Highway 305 across from Central Market in Poulsbo. Arrangements are under the direction of Miller-Woodlawn Funeral Home.

Frances Weber
Frances L. Weber, 76, of Bremerton, died March 28, 2001, of natural causes at her home.
She was born July 15, 1924, in Emmet, N.D., to Carl and Harda (Ostby) Delbom. She graduated from high school in Garrison, N.D., in 1943.
She married
William Weber in Underwood, N.D., on July 14, 1949. He preceded her in death in 1981.
Survivors include a brother, Chester Delbom; and two sisters, Evelyn Severson of Bremerton and Betty Juel of Bellingham. She was preceded in death by two brothers.
Interment will take place in Garrison.
