Sharon Jones
Sharon Rae (Lukkasson) Jones, 56, of Little Boston died of cancer Dec. 11, 2001, at her home.
She was born April 17, 1945, in Stanley, N.D., to Carl and Louise Lukkasson.
She married
Bill D. Jones on May 13, 1986, in Little Boston.
Mrs. Jones was a barber for 15 years. She enjoyed playing bingo and painting wood carvings crafted by her husband.
She was a member of United Full Gospel.
Survivors include her husband; her parents, Carl and Louise Lukkasson of Port Orchard; two sons, Dewane Swenson of Port Orchard and Kevin Swenson of Bremerton; one daughter, Brenda Swenson of Bremerton; two stepsons, Allen and Billy Jones, both of Little Boston; three stepdaughters, Kathleen Jones of Tahuya, Cheryl Jones of Oakville and Yvette Fulton of Little Boston; five brothers, Roger Lukkasson of Yuma, Ariz., Terry and Mark Lukkasson, both of Port Orchard, Jerry Lukkasson of Chino Valley, Ariz., and Larry Lukkasson of Bremerton; one sister, Maxine Braaten, of Seabeck; 23 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to noon Monday at Miller-Woodlawn Funeral Home. A funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the Little Boston Gym. Interment
will be at S'Klallam cemetery in Little Boston.

John Feddock
John Phillip Feddock, 68, of Port Orchard died Dec. 7, 2001, at his home.
He was born Feb. 10, 1933, in Pennsylvania to John G. and Mary (Tylka) Feddock. He graduated from South Kitsap High School.
Mr. Feddock served in the Air Force from 1953 to 1973, achieving the rank of technical sergeant. He later worked for the United States Postal Service for 19 years, retiring in 1992.
He married
Helen M. Smith on March 29, 1983.
Mr. Feddock was a ham radio operator and enjoyed fly fishing.
Survivors include his wife; his mother, Mary Feddock of Long Lake; two sons, Steven Phillip of Port Orchard and Kevin Wayne of Temecula, Calif.; two daughters, Deborah A. Keller and her husband, David, and Carolyn S. Moorman and her husband, Steve; one stepdaughter, Michelle L. White; one brother, John G. Jr. of Port Orchard; four sisters, Dorothy Summerill, Toni Huebert and her husband, Hank, Mary Breaker and Anna McIntyre; and 13 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, Delores Feddock.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Kitsap Cremation and Burial Society.

George Schneider
George Alfred Schneider, 77, of Port Townsend died of heart failure Dec. 8, 2001, at his home.
He was born May 14, 1924, in West Hoboken, N.J., to George and Frances (Paul) Schneider. He graduated in 1941 from the New York City High School of Music and Art and received his bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering in 1947 from the Polytech Institute of Brooklyn.
He served in the Army from 1942 to 1946 in Central Europe and the Rhineland, achieving the rank of private first class. He was awarded the Purple Heart.
He married
Juanita Christina Pasarow in California. She preceded him in death in 1988.
He most recently worked as a nuclear power plant cooling system designer for Bechtel Corporation.
He enjoyed gardening, sailing, music and drawing.
He is survived by his friend, Astrid Adams, and her children, Michelle and Shawn, all of Poulsbo.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Kosec Funeral Home in Port Townsend. His ashes will be scattered at sea by the Coast Guard.

Lillian Olson
Lillian Kathryn Florence Olson, 71, of Poulsbo died of coronary artery disease Dec. 10, 2001, in Seattle.
She was born March 21, 1930, in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, to Frank and Dorothy (Patterson) Evans. She graduated from Verdun High School in Verdun, Quebec, Canada, and attended Williams College in Montreal.
She married
Millard O. Olson on July 19, 1953, in Nashville, Tenn.
Mrs. Olson enjoyed creating art. She also was a draftsman for more than 10 years.
She was a member of the Poulsbo Art League and Christ Memorial Church in Poulsbo.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Paul of Clackamas, Ore., and David of Bremerton; three daughters, Valerie Walker of Auburn, Calif., Kris Roberts of Eureka, Calif., and Nancy Olson of Suquamish; two brothers, Kenneth Evans of New Milford, Conn., and Donald Evans of Salt Springs, New Brunswick, Canada; one sister, Pat Piercey of Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada; and 14 grandchildren.
A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Christ Memorial Church in Poulsbo. Arrangements are under the direction of Poulsbo Mortuary, The Stone Chapel at Cherry Grove.

Bernard T. Evenson
Bernard T. Evenson, 71, of Bremerton died of a heart attack Dec. 10, 2001, in Federal Way.
He was born Dec. 22, 1929, in Minneapolis to Edwin and Isabel (Haskell) Evenson. He graduated in 1948 from Gary High School in Gary, Minn., and in 1956 from Northwest Electronics Institute in Minneapolis.
Mr. Evenson served with the Marine Corps in Korea from 1950 to 1952, achieving the rank of sergeant. He was awarded the Korean Service Medal and the United Nations Service Medal.
He married
Heloise Rinerson on June 6, 1954, in Twin Valley, Minn.
Mr. Evenson worked at Honeywell for 44 years, retiring in 2000.
He enjoyed watching his children and granddaughters play sports. He was a member of the Sons of Norway and Hope Lutheran Church in Silverdale.
Survivors include his wife; one son, Bradley T. of Federal Way; one daughter, Melodee F. Evenson of Moses Lake; one sister, Thelma (Evenson) Berg of Gary, Minn.; and three granddaughters, Jacquie, Jessica and Breann. He was preceded in death by brothers, Arthur Payne, Edwin Jr. and Earl.
A celebration of life will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Sons of Norway in Bremerton. Interment
will be at Tahoma National cemetery in Kent.

Clifford Levenseller
Clifford O. Levenseller, 84, of Southworth died Dec. 12, 2001, at Port Orchard Care Center.
He was born July 26, 1917, in Ruston to Edgar and Ellen (O'Donnell) Levenseller. He was a 1937 graduate of West Seattle High School.
He married
Wilma Kenney on July 26, 1940, in Seattle.
Mr. Levenseller was a shipfitter at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard for 30 years, retiring in 1981.
He was a member of the Knights of Pythias in Port Orchard and Colby United Methodist Church in South Colby. He enjoyed bowling.
Survivors include his wife; one son, Philip and his wife, Jacqueline, of Silverdale; two daughters, Alice Hawkins of Snohomish and Ann Anderson of Bremerton; one sister, Dorothy Hower of Kent; nine grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, John.
A memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Colby United Methodist Church. Inurnment will be at Sedgwick cemetery in Port Orchard. Arrangements are under the direction of Pendleton-Gilchrist Funeral Home at Rill Chapel.

Thomas Bellerby
Thomas Michael Bellerby, 82, of Port Orchard died Dec. 10, 2001, at Harrison Hospital.
He was born March 21, 1919, in Red Deer, Alberta, Canada, to George and Agnes (Burke) Bellerby. He graduated in 1937 from St. Stevens High School in Portland, Ore., and later from the University of Portland.
Mr. Bellerby served in the Army on Iwo Jima during World War II.
He later was a Social Security administrator for the U.S. government for more than 20 years.
Mr. Bellerby enjoyed playing golf. He was a member of St. Gabriel Catholic Church in Port Orchard.
Survivors include his former wife, Barbara Bellerby; a niece, Linda Bellerby; and numerous relatives in the Portland area. He was preceded in death by four brothers.
A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Mount Scott Funeral Home in Portland. Arrangements are under the direction of Pendleton-Gilchrist Funeral Home at Rill Chapel.

Samantha Calhoun
Samantha Rachelle Calhoun, the infant daughter of Ben C. and Elizabeth R. (Spurlock) Calhoun, was stillborn Dec. 9, 2001, at Harrison Hospital in Silverdale.
She is survived by her parents and her grandparents, Ben and Tammy Calhoun, Bob and Debbie Andrews and Steve Spurlock.
Visitation will be from noon to a 1 p.m. service Friday at the Silverdale Fourth Ward of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 11070 Old Frontier Road. Committal will be in Forest Lawn cemetery with arrangements under the direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel.

Marjorie Hagg
Marjorie J. Hagg, 67, of Bremerton died Dec. 8, 2001, in Seattle.
She was born Feb. 11, 1934, in Bremerton to William and Phyllis Paulson. She was a 1952 graduate of Bremerton High School.
She married
George Hagg. He preceded her in death in 1990.
Mrs. Hagg was a federal employee for 41 years until retiring.
She was a member of Ladies of Elks.
Survivors include a son, Richard G. Herman of Bremerton; a brother, William Stan Paulson of Bremerton; and two grandchildren, Sean and Jessica Herman.
A funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Miller-Woodlawn Funeral Home.

Richard Gossett
Richard R. "Spreader" Gossett Sr., 54, of Grapeview died of cancer Dec. 9, 2001, at his home.
He was born Jan. 19, 1947, in Bremerton to Robert C. and Ida May (Bennett) Gossett. He was educated in Bremerton and Belfair.
Mr. Gossett served in the Navy from 1964 to 1966. He later was a truck driver and worked in construction.
He married
Kim E. Medeiros on Dec. 7, 2000, in Reno, Nev.
Mr. Gossett was a member of Teamster's Union 589 and the Eagles. He loved his family and enjoyed fishing and Nascar racing.
Survivors include his wife; his father and stepmother, Robert C. and DeAnna Gossett of Belfair; two sons, Richard R. Jr. of Tacoma and Matthew R. of Roy; a daughter, Shanna Dupea of Tacoma; a stepson, Matthew J. Kennedy; and a stepdaughter, Teresa Griffey of Ocean Park.
A celebration of life will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Belfair Cafe in Belfair. Arrangements are under the direction of McComb Funeral Home in Shelton.
