Edgar Wolfe
Edgar L. Wolfe, 71, of Hansville died Sept. 29, 2002, in Bremerton.
He was born Oct. 16, 1930, in Woodinville to the Rev. Welty Wolfe and Jessie (Pence) Wolfe.
Mr. Wolfe worked for Sullivan Heating and Cooling of Bremerton.
He enjoyed fishing, golfing, gardening and spending time with his dogs, Lacey and Cole. He was a member of the Port Townsend Elks and the Poulsbo Eagles.
Survivors include his wife; his mother-in-law, Blanche Delby of Hansville; three sons, Daniel Wolfe of Seattle, Edward Wolfe and his wife, Diana, of Suquamish and David Rasmussen of Edmonds; three daughters, Deborah Huxford and her husband, Chuck, of Wenatchee, Christine Todd and her husband, Gary, of Suquamish and Janet Malone of Hansville; a brother, Welty Wolfe and his wife, Marlene, of Yuma, Ariz.; and nine grandchildren.
A memorial service will be at noon Oct. 12 at the Eagles Lodge, 4230 NE Lincoln Road in Poulsbo.
Arrangements are under the direction of The Stone Chapel at Cherry Grove in Poulsbo.

James Reeves
James Neil Reeves, 77, of Port Orchard died Sept. 28, 2002, at Harrison Hospital from complications of Parkinson's Disease.
He was born Nov. 24, 1924, in Bainbridge, Ind., to John and Alice (Fisher) Reeves.
He married
Shirley E. Kamholtz on June 21, 1944, in Port Orchard.
Mr. Reeves served in the Navy during World War II in the Pacific Theater aboard USS West Virginia. He worked for more than 30 years at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard as a machinist, retiring in 1981.
He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. Other interests were fishing and woodworking.
Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Cheryl Mannick and her husband, Dennis, of Port Orchard, Marcia Parker and her husband, Wayne, and Bonnie Thorsen and her husband, Tom, all of Bremerton; a sister, Edith Lawson of St. Petersburg, Fla.; five grandchildren, Neil and Lynn Sherk, Ryan Parker, Michelle Welch and Kellie (Parker) McClain and her husband, Jason; and two great-grandchildren, Damien Johnson and Makaylee McClain.
He was preceded in death by five sisters and two brothers.
A private family Mass will be celebrated. Interment
will be at Sunset Lane cemetery in Port Orchard under the direction of Pendleton-Gilchrist Funeral Home at Rill Chapel.

Jeanne Loomis
Jeanne Sophia Loomis, 84, of Poulsbo died Sept. 24, 2002, in Bremerton.
She was born Sept. 5, 1918, in Mason, Mich., to Schuyler L. and Eula (Foerch) Marshall. She graduated from Rodney B. Wilson High School in St. Johns, Mich., and Michigan State College (now Michigan State University) in East Lansing, Mich.
She married
Stanley R. Loomis on June 11, 1949, at the First Methodist Church in St. Johns. Mr. and Mrs. Loomis were Master Gardeners and enjoyed traveling together throughout the United States and Canada.
Upon her retirement from the trust department of Clinton National Bank in St. Johns, Mrs. Loomis became a volunteer at Clinton Memorial Hospital there.
Her father, a former publisher of the Clinton County Republican News, helped establish the hospital.
Mrs. Loomis was a devoted wife and mother.
She is survived by her husband; a son, Theodore Schuyler Loomis, and his wife, Megan Somerville-Loomis, of Seattle; a sister, Martha Tillotson of Beaver Creek, Ohio; and a brother, Bill Schuyler Marshall Jr. of Santa Maria, Calif.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Marshall, and sisters Ruth Clohset and Mary Stuckey.
There will be no funeral. A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in the chapel at Martha & Mary Health Care Center in Poulsbo.
A celebration of her life will be scheduled at a later date. Interment
will be at Tahoma National cemetery in Kent.

Ben Warren
Michael Ben Warren, 24, of Silverdale died Sept. 27, 2002, in Poulsbo.
He was born July 21, 1978, in Savannah, Ga. He attended North Kitsap High School.
Mr. Warren worked as a brick mason.
He enjoyed video games, Garth Brooks music and Karaoke. He also was a fan of the late Dale Ernhardt.
Survivors include his father and stepmother, Jackie and Amy Warren; his step-father and mother, William H. and Anna Maria (Brown) May of Silverdale; three brothers, Lance Warren of Springfield, Ga., and Joe and Chris May, both of Silverdale; a sister, Savannah May of Silverdale; and his grandparents, Victor Berliner and Naomi Brown Berliner of Savannah, Ga., and William H. May Sr. and Donna Mae May of Necedah, Wis.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. today at The Stone Chapel at Cherry Grove Memorial Park, 22272 Foss Road NE in Poulsbo. A funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday also at The Stone Chapel.
Mary Morris
Mary M. Morris, 84, of Port Orchard, formerly of Bremerton, died Sept. 28, 2002, at Willow Creek Adult Care Home in Port Orchard.
She was born Feb. 14, 1918, in Hammon, Okla., to Ira and Lena (Freeman) Stewart. She graduated from Canton High School in Canton, Okla., and took business classes at a community college in Olympia.
She was a department store saleswoman in Idaho and Spokane, and she was a field office assistant with the state highway department.
She enjoyed singing with the Sweet Adelines, flowers, entertaining and sewing. She also enjoyed being with young people and was in a Tacoma "Grandparents Group."
She belonged to the Church of Christ in Port Orchard.
Survivors include a son, Doyle D. Morris of Kennewick; a daughter, Patricia L. Woodrow of Port Orchard; two brothers, Ira M. Stewart of Cassville, Mo., and Jim Stewart of Spring Hill, Fla.; a sister, Alice Matchell of Belgrade, Mo.; and eight grandchildren, Pamela, Renny, Diana, Christopher, Theodore, Steven, David and Carey. She was preceded in death by a sister, Jane Beck.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. today and Thursday at Pendleton-Gilchrist Funeral Home at Rill Chapel in Port Orchard. A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, also at Rill Chapel.

Cindy Johnson
Cindy Johnson, 48, died Sept. 25, 2002, at her home in Silverdale.
She was born Dec. 15, 1953, in Bremerton to Ralph and Dorothy Elkins Grace.
She graduated from South Kitsap High School in 1972 and attended Olympic College and the University of Washington Nursing School.
She married
Ron Johnson on Aug. 2, 1986, in Belfair.
Mrs. Johnson was the owner-operator of Kitsap Hospitality Services.
Survivors include her husband and a daughter, Chloe Quinn Johnson, living at home; a brother, Gene Grace of Bremerton; and five sisters, Judy Callaghan and Linda Grace of Port Orchard, and Cheryl Anderson of Belfair, and Cathy Rogers and Betty Anderson of Bremerton.
Visitation will be from noon to 5 p.m. Tuesday at Rill Chapel.
Funeral services will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Pendleton-Gilchrist Funeral Home at Rill Chapel.
Maurice Lane
Maurice James Lane, 86, of Silverdale died Sept. 23, 2002, at his home.
He was born May 2, 1916, in Silverdale to Henry and Lucy (Watkins) Lane. He graduated from Port Washington Bay Union High School in Silverdale in 1935.
He married
Inez Olson in August 1941 in Bremerton. She preceded him in death in 2001.
Mr. Lane worked in industrial and commercial pipe-covering for 34 years, retiring in 1972. He was a member of Asbestos Workers Local 7 in Seattle.
He was a member of a Masonic lodge. He was a Mariners fan and enjoyed fishing and travel.
Survivors include two sons, Gary Lane of Silverdale and Stephen Lane of Poulsbo; a daughter, Cristi Strycharski of Poulsbo; a sister, Violet Baker of Vale, Ore.; four grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. today and from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday at Miller-Woodlawn Funeral Home in Bremerton. A funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Miller-Woodlawn Memorial Park chapel, followed by a graveside service.
A reception will follow at Mr. Lane's home.

Sandra Loudy
Sandra Lou Loudy, 60, of Clark Fork, Idaho, died on Sept. 24, 2002, in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.
She was born on Nov. 30, 1941, in Huntington, W.Va., to Harold and Mary Loudy. She grew up and attended schools in Port Orchard, graduating from South Kitsap High School.
She married
Joseph Goss on February 12, 1961, and they were later divorced. She married
James Doll in 1977 and the couple moved to Clark Fork in 1980. She worked as a caregiver in the Clark Fork area for several years.
She enjoyed reading, canning, gardening and her friends.
She is survived by two sons, Brian Lincoln Goss of Belfair and Paul Loran Goss of Phoenix, Ariz.; a daughter, Kelli Lynn Fifield of Mead; three sisters, Liz Stockton of Port Orchard, Becky Edson of Seattle and Debbie Little of Federal Way; a brother, Harold Loudy Jr. of Seattle; and three grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. today at Coffelt's Moon Chapel in Sandpoint, Idaho, with Pastor Jimmy Cox of the River Valley Baptist Church officiating. Burial will take place in Heron, Montana cemetery.

Daniel B. Sherwood
Daniel B. Sherwood, 36, of Bremerton died on Sept. 26, 2002, at his home in Bremerton.
He was born on July 14, 1966, in Bremerton to Steve and Diane Barnett Sherwood.
He graduated from South Kitsap High School in 1985 and owned Empire Nightclub in Bremerton the past five years.
His hobbies included music.
He is survived by his father; his mother; his step-father, Arthur Hart; and his step-grandparents, Arthur and Evelene Hart of Bremerton.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Sunset Lane cemetery under the direction of Pendleton Gilchrist Funeral Home at Rill Chapel.
Roy Sandahl
Roy Christian Sandahl, 71, of Bremerton died Sept. 26, 2002, of a heart attack at his home.
He was born April 4, 1931, in Bellevue to Roy Christian and Mildred Mary (Wheeler) Sandahl Sr. He graduated from North Kitsap High School in 1949.
Mr. Sandahl served in the Navy from 1948 to 1952, achieving the rank of boatswain's mate third class. He was awarded the Korean Service Ribbon with one star, the United Nations Service Medal, the Navy Occupation Medal and the China Service Medal.
He worked as a dispatcher for concrete companies in San Diego and Los Angeles. While living in Kitsap County, he worked with Headstart, as a finish carpenter and silversmith, and owned and operated the Kingston Inn, which his parents also had owned.
Mr. Sandahl also volunteered at the Keyport Naval Undersea Museum.
Survivors include his wife, Suzanne Sandahl; a son, Ron L. Sandahl Jr. of Seattle; two daughters, Michelle Nichol and her husband, Paul, of Kingston and Renee Hoglan and her husband, Pat, of Poulsbo; a stepson, Lonnie D. Hushman; a sister, Rosemary Harrison of Turner, Ore.; and three grandchildren, Sean and Brian Hoglan and Jennifer Held; and one great-grandchild, Cody Held.
A memorial graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Kingston cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel in Bremerton with cremation at Cherry Grove Crematory in Poulsbo.
