Donna Pratt
Donna Pratt, 76, of Bremerton died Nov. 5, 2002, of a heart attack at her home.
She was born Oct. 25, 1926, in Lakota, N.D., to John and Margaret (Trask) Keitzman.
She married Clarence Pratt on May 12, 1946, in Shelton. He died in 1976.
While living in Okanogan County, Mrs. Pratt worked for 15 years as a legal secretary and as a secretary with the office of the Okanogan superintendent of schools. She retired in 1988.
Her favorite pastimes were gardening and crochet.
Survivors include two daughters, Kaye (Pratt) Feller and her husband, Stephen, of Camarillo, Calif., and Patricia (Pratt) Kahler and her husband, Edward, of Kenmore; one brother, Leland Keitzman of Bremerton; two sisters, Rosemary Blumberg-Green of Silverdale and Sharon Braget of Bremerton; four grandchildren, Lori, David, Kristine and Kelli; and five great-grandchildren, Mariha, Elisha, Jackson, Logan and William.
She also was preceded in death by a sister, Ardis Bullard, in 1951.
A funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Miller-Woodlawn Funeral Home in Bremerton. A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Omak at Omak Memorial cemetery.

Pat Donahue
Theodore R. "Pat" Donahue, 91, of Bremerton died Nov. 1, 2002, at Harrison Hospital.
He was born Jan. 16, 1911, in Columbus, Texas, to Joseph Lee and Alice Anna (Stull) Donahue.
He married Vivian Donahue on Feb. 14, 1958, in Bremerton. She died in 1998.
Mr. Donahue served in the Navy during World War II. He went on to work as a rigger at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard for 35 years until his retirement.
Survivors include one son, Theodore C. "Pat" Donahue and his wife, Dorothy, of Lynnwood; one daughter, Darlene Wall of San Jose, Calif.; one stepson, Michael D. Taylor of Silverdale; one sister, Jewell Harpst of Marshall, Mo.; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
At the family's request, there will be no services. Arrangements are by Lewis Funeral Chapel in Bremerton with cremation at The Stone Chapel at Cherry Grove in Poulsbo. Inurnment will be at Forest Lawn cemetery in Bremerton.

Mac McDermott
Hugh C. "Mac" McDermott, 56, of Silverdale died Nov. 1, 2002, at his home.
He was born June 24, 1946, in Butte, Mont., to Hugh V. and Josephine (Propp) McDermott. He graduated from Boys Central Catholic High School in Butte.
Mr. McDermott served in the Marine Corps from 1963 to 1966. He went on to work in torpedo maintenance and inspection at Naval Undersea Warfare Center at Keyport, retiring this year after 34 years.
He enjoyed spending time at the Old Time Pub in Silverdale with friends whom he considered family. Cribbage also was a favorite pastime.
Mr. McDermott was affiliated with the Catholic faith.
Survivors include one son, H. David McDermott of Seattle; one daughter, Kathleen Dunn and her husband, Greg, of Tacoma; two sisters, Mary Jo Hamaker and her husband, Tom, and Celeste Turner and her husband, Tom, all of Butte; and one grandson, Grayson Dunn.
A memorial service will be held at a later date in Butte.
Arrangements are under the direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel in Bremerton with cremation at The Stone Chapel at Cherry Grove in Poulsbo.

Leta-Rae Buckholtz
Leta-Rae Buckholtz, 61, of Port Orchard died Nov. 6, 2002, at Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma.
She was born June 13, 1941, in Lewiston, Idaho.
She married Robert Buckholtz on June 13, 1958, in Ansbach, Germany. The couple was married for 44 years.
Mrs. Buckholtz was devoted to her family and loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. Her favorite pastimes were ceramics, reading, bow making, gift wrapping, cooking and family gatherings.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Robert Buckholtz of Dundee, Ore., and Dennis Buckholtz of Bremerton; eight daughters, Patricia Lee, Debra Krueger, Barbara Wilson, Janet Jackson and Lori Fort, all of Port Orchard, Tammy Huguenin of Spokane, Bonnie Polner of Alaska, and Heidi Smith of Westport; three sisters, Billie Timmons of Ashland, Ore., Nancy Tingle of Yuma, Ariz., and Velma Bone of Summerville, S.C.; 23 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and her stepfather, George Kiger.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph William Potter and Lois Katherine (Buchanan) Kiger.
A memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Pendleton-Gilchrist Funeral Home at Rill Chapel in Port Orchard. Inurnment will be at Sunset Lane cemetery in Port Orchard.

Katherine St Hill
Former Union resident Katherine St Hill, 88, of Manhattan Beach, Calif., died of pneumonia Oct. 30, 2002, in Manhattan Beach.
She was born April 17, 1914, in Los Angeles. She graduated from high school there.
She married Don St Hill on Sept. 1, 1932, in Los Angeles. He died in 2000.
Mrs. St Hill was a resident of Union for 20 years. She and her husband were active Lions Club members in Bremerton and in California.
Survivors include two daughters, Donna St Hill of Manhattan Beach and Judy Shiner of Gig Harbor; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Memorial donations may be made to the Bremerton Lions Club.

Clarence Dohrmann
Clarence Elsworth Dohrmann, 83, of Poulsbo died Nov. 6, 2002, at Forest Ridge Health and Rehabilitation Center.
He was born Nov. 7, 1918, in Oakland, Calif., to Max and Louise (Speith) Dohrmann. He graduated from high school in Oakland and won a football scholarship to college.
He and his wife, Clarice, were married Nov. 7, 1941. She died in 1995.
Mr. Dohrmann served in the Army for a short time.
He went on to work as a large-crane operator with an iron works company, retiring in 1979. He was a member of Operating Engineers Local 3 in California.
Mr. Dohrmann loved people and was devoted to his family. He donated to many charities and helped others.
He also enjoyed sports, especially golf. At the age of 79, he scored a hole in one.
Survivors include one son, Fred Dohrmann and his wife, Marie; two sisters, Miriam Olsen of Idaho and Delores Ricks of California; and three grandchildren, John Dohrmann, Bonnie Peloquin and Connie T. Meine.
At the family's request, there will be no services. Arrangements are under the direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel in Bremerton with cremation at The Stone Chapel at Cherry Grove in Poulsbo. Inurnment will be in Placerville, Calif.

Estelle King
Estelle Marie King, 98, of Silverdale died Oct. 1, 2002, at Northwoods Lodge in Silverdale.
She was born Feb. 2, 1904, in Alameda, Calif.
She studied at The Sorbonne in Paris for one year.
She married Dr. Barry G. King. He died in 1972.
Mrs. King was a homemaker and had been a yoga instructor. In the 1930s, she performed on Broadway as an actress and comedian.
Mrs. King had been a member of Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church in Bremerton for four years.
Survivors include a son, Dr. Barry G. King Jr. and his wife, Maria, of El Paso, Texas; one daughter, Aloysia F. Hard of Poulsbo; and two grandsons, Barry G. King III and his wife, Jean, of New York City and Cyrus B. King of Boston.
Services will be held at Our Lady Star of the Sea at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of The Stone Chapel at Cherry Grove in Poulsbo.
Memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.

Vance Mottinger
Vance Mottinger, 57, of Bremerton died Nov. 5, 2002, at Harrison Hospital.
He was born May 11, 1945, in Tracy, Minn.
Mr. Mottinger served in the Marine Corps from 1964 to 1968. He later worked for the Port of Bremerton.
Survivors include three sons, Ian Mottinger and Boe Barnett, both of Bremerton, and Jeff Mottinger of Seattle; one daughter, Annette Mottinger of Sumner; his father, Archie Mottinger of Bremerton; and eight grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother and by a daughter, Danielle, in 1988.
A memorial service will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Washington Veterans Home in Retsil.

Lynda Schroeder
Lynda B. Schroeder, 89, of Bremerton died Nov. 2, 2002, at Harrison Hospital.
She was born Jan. 11, 1913, in Lewiston, Maine, to L. Edward and Mabel (Monto) Bedell. She received a master's degree in social work from Bates College in Lewiston.
She married Harry Dale Schroeder on May 27, 1955, in Bremerton.
Mrs. Schroeder worked as a psychological social worker and in adoption placement and home studies with the Children's Home Society of Washington, Tacoma Branch.
She enjoyed gardening, fishing, bridge and travel. She wintered for many years in Yuma, Ariz., and spent many summers fishing in Westport.
Mrs. Schroeder was a member of First Christian Church of Bremerton.
Survivors include her husband; and one niece, Carol of Maine.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Eugene Aitchison
Eugene Aitchison, 81, of Suquamish died of heart failure Nov. 3, 2002, at Harrison Hospital.
He was born Jan. 21, 1921, in Alderwood Manor, Wash., to William and Ivy (Yonker) Aitchison. He graduated from Edmonds High School in 1940.
He married Mary E. Wynne on May 15, 1944, in Tacoma.
Mr. Aitchison served in the Navy from 1945 to 1946, achieving the rank of motor machinist third class. He went on to work for 35 years as a machinist at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, retiring as a general foreman with Shop 06 in 1976.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting and sports. He was a fan of the Huskies, Seahawks and Mariners.
Survivors include his wife; six sons, Larry Aitchison of Salida, Calif., Terry Aitchison of Silverdale, Kevin Aitchison of Venice, Italy, Kenneth Aitchison of Auburn, John Aitchison of Poulsbo and Robert Aitchison of Kidder, Mo.; one daughter, Ruth Ellen "Penny" Jefferson of San Jose, Calif.; 20 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by siblings Arthur, William and John Aitchison, and Elizabeth Kenniston.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. today at Miller-Woodlawn Funeral Home in Bremerton. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.

Stanley Pierce Sr.
Stanley Dean Pierce Sr., 84, of Ann Arbor, Mich., and formerly of Port Orchard, died of emphysema at Arbor Hospice in Ann Arbor.
He was born March 6, 1918, in Port Orchard to Dean and Mary (Young) Pierce. He graduated from South Kitsap High School in 1936.
He married Harriett Wendt on Sept. 16, 1948, in Lewistown, Mont.
Mr. Pierce served in the Coast Guard and the Merchant Marine. He went on to work at Washington State University in Pullman for 25 years in married student housing maintenance, retiring in 1985.
He enjoyed spending time with his family and exploring nature.
Survivors include his wife; six children, Stanley Pierce Jr. and his wife, Maria, of Salem, Ore., Roger Pierce and his wife, Jan, of Vancouver, Wash., Jan Fyall and her husband, Don, of Saline, Mich., Kathleen Pierce of Boise, Idaho, Wayne Pierce of St. Charles, Ill., and April Coggins and her husband, Russ, of Pullman; a brother, Richard Pierce of Seattle; 10 grandchildren, Jill, Todd, Josh, Sara, Nate, Amelia, Christy, George, Daniella and David; eight great-grandchildren, Shaun, Emma, Sarah, Jacob, Allison, Levi, Brittany and Elijah; many nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Debbie Hall.
He was preceded in death by a grandson, B.J. Schaeffer, and two brothers, Reed and Harold Pierce.
A private memorial service was held Oct. 11 at Arbor Hospice.
Arrangements were under the direction of Robison-Bahnmiller Funeral Home in Saline.
