Charles Johnson Jr.
Former resident Charles Dean "Johnny" Johnson Jr., 80, of Kingman, Ariz., died Feb. 16, 1999.
He was born Aug. 15, 1918, in Forsythe, Mont.
Mr. Johnson was employed at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, retiring in 1970.
He served in the Marine Corps and was a member of the Disabled American Veterans, Fraternal Order of Eagles and the Fleet Reserve.
Survivors include his wife, Hazel; two daughters, Muriel Bishop of Kingman and Judy Wagner of Great Falls, Mont.; one son, Jim R. Stancil of Lake Havasu City, Ariz.; a sister, Marian Ball of Tacoma; a brother, Bill of Kalispell, Mont.; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Memorial services were conducted Feb. 20 at Sutton Memorial Funeral Home in Kingman. Cremation was by Sutton Crematory in Kingman.

Floyd Scott
Floyd James Scott, 87, of Bremerton died Feb. 22, 1999, at his home.
He was born March 3, 1911, in Port Republic, Va., to Newton and Lottie (Reed) Scott.
He was raised and educated in Port Republic, and had resided in Kitsap County for 18 years.
On July 20, 1967, he married
Michiko Tokeshi in Okinawa, Japan.
Mr. Scott served in the Army Air Corps and Air Force from 1930 to 1957, retiring as a warrant officer.
He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Japan.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, Andy of Lakewood, Floyd Jr. of Orlando, Fla., and Michael of Pittsburgh, Pa.; two daughters, Barbara and Kathy; a sister, Laurena Scott of Pennsylvania; and three grandchildren, Kristopher, Andy Jr., and Jacob.
Cremation is by Cherry Grove Memorial Park, with inurnment at Tahoma National cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel.
Dale Arnold
Dale Eugene Arnold, 44, of Bremerton died Feb. 22, 1999, at his home.
He was born June 9, 1954, in Torrance, Calif., to Tom and Helen (Gillette) Arnold.
Mr. Arnold served in the Navy and worked at Chico Towing for five years prior to his retirement.
He was a Mason.
Survivors include his fiancee, Gina Flory; his mother, Helen of Torrance; a son, David of San Diego, Calif.; a daughter, Terri Arnold of San Diego, Calif.; two sisters, Janet Mingus of Silverdale and Judy Reich of Sandy, Utah; his grandparents, Harold and Eveylon Gillette of Torrance; and one grandchild, Ashley Arnold of San Diego. He was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Donnie.
Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. today at Miller-Woodlawn Funeral Home, with inurnment at Miller-Woodlawn Memorial Park.

Lowell Sederberg
Lowell G. Sederberg, 87, of Port Orchard died Feb. 24, 1999, in Port Orchard.
He was born May 18, 1911, in Kiron, Iowa, to Oscar and Anna (Anderson) Sederberg.
He graduated from Kiron High School in 1929.
On June 6, 1947, he married
Gertrude A. Barker in Arthur, Iowa. She preceded him in death in 1997.
Mr. Sederberg served in the Army Air Corps during World War II in the European Theater. He retired from Puget Sound Naval Shipyard in 1972.
He was a member of the Port Orchard Church of The Nazarene.
Survivors include a daughter, Jean Simonson of Olympia; a brother, Roy of Port Orchard; and two grandchildren, Jason and Stefanie Simonson, both of Olympia. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Russell and Marvin.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday and from 9 to 11 a.m. Monday at Rill Chapel.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Port Orchard Nazarene Church with interment following at Sunset Lane cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Pendleton-Gilchrist Funeral Home at Rill Chapel.
Wayne Koehler
Wayne Eldon Koehler, 72, of Bremerton died Feb. 19, 1999, in Tacoma.
He was born June 23, 1926, in Topeka, Kan., to Russel J. and Elizabeth M. (Foley) Koehler. When he was in the 11th grade he moved to Camas. He graduated from high school there.
On June 18, 1955, he married
Shirley E. Smith.
Mr. Koehler served in the Navy and worked at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard for more than 30 years.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Debbie Glenn of Bremerton; a sister, Carolyn Scholl of Bakersfield, Calif.; a brother, Wilton of Topeka; and two grandchildren.
A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. today at Forest Lawn cemetery. A reception will follow at Manette Community Church.

Anna Brousseau
Anna Brousseau, 104, of Bremerton died Feb. 22, 1999, in Bremerton.
She was born Oct. 1, 1894, to Jack and Mary (Bridgeman) Carlow in Wamblee, S.D.
In 1912, she married
Joseph Brousseau in Bremerton. He preceded her in death in 1971.
Mrs. Brousseau was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church and a charter member of the Eagles.
Survivors include two daughters, Vivian Tinney Oard and Lois "Dolly" Hage, both of Bremerton; two grandchildren, Jeri Lynn Kalmbach of Silverdale and Ann C. Brown of Bremerton; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one great-grandchild.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Paul's Episcopal Church. A private graveside service is today at Miller Woodlawn Memorial Park.

Consuelo Hotelling
Consuelo S. Hotelling, 77, of Bremerton died Feb. 12, 1999, at her home.
She was born Sept. 13, 1921, in Seattle to Frank and Consuelo (Welty) Strong.
Her husband, Robert P. Hotelling, preceded her in death in 1968.
Survivors include a son, Roger of Lynnwood; two daughters, Consuelo Poth of Seattle and Sally Parson of Kirkland; and two grandchildren, Darcie Poth and Ian Parsons.
Cremation is by Cherry Grove Crematory, with inurnment at Arthur Wright on Queen Anne Hill in Seattle "Butterworth's."
Arrangements are by Lewis Funeral Chapel.
John Russell
John Edward Russell, 68, of Bremerton died Feb. 19, 1999, at Harrison Hospital.
He was born May 3, 1930, in Yakima to John E. and Ruth (Ellington) Russell.
He grew up in Yakima, moving to Kitsap County 10 years ago.
Survivors include a nephew, James Russell of Bremerton; and a niece, Ruth Jobes of Bremerton.
Cremation is by Cherry Grove Crematory. Arrangements are by Lewis Funeral Chapel.

Demetrius Katsikapes
Demetrius "Jimmie" Katsikapes, 69, of Port Hadlock died Feb. 22, 1999, in Bremerton.
He was born Nov. 8, 1929, in Seattle.
Mr. Katsikapes served in the Navy during World War II. He later worked as a builder in the area, and participated in various business ventures up to the time of his death.
Survivors include his wife, the former Nancy Lou Lake; three sons, Jay of Livermore, Calif., Christopher of Poulsbo and Matthew of Walnut Creek, Calif.; three daughters, Vicky Bergamini of Carlsbad, Calif., Roberta Palacios of Port Angeles and Trisa Chomica of Canmore, Alberta, Canada; two brothers, Hazli of Port Hadlock and Andrew of Seattle; three sisters, Helen Steele of Westport, Olga Skinner of West Seattle and Mary Rutter of Norland; 22 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Irondale Evangelical Free Church in Port Hadlock. A private family burial will be in Seattle.
Arrangements are by Kosec Funeral Home in Port Townsend.
