Nema Nordberg
Nema Evelyn Nordberg, 87, of Poulsbo died Feb. 4, 1999, at Harrison Hospital.
She was born Oct. 23, 1911, in Kooskia, Idaho, to Percy and Wildred (Keith) Dunlap. She was raised and educated in Carlsborg, Wash.
On July 17, 1944, she married
Einar Nordberg in Poulsbo.
Mrs. Nordberg was a homemaker.
She was a member of the Royal Neighbors of America.
Survivors include her husband; seven sons; seven daughters; five brothers; one sister; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Si and Jack Dunlap.
A private family service was conducted Feb. 7.
Arrangements are under the direction of Poulsbo Mortuary, The Stone Chapel.

Debra Rasmussen
Debra R. Rasmussen, 43, of Port Orchard died Feb. 4, 1999, at Harrison Hospital, following an extended illness.
She was born April 18, 1955, in Rockford, Ill. She was raised and educated in Mount Morris, Ill., graduating from Mount Morris High School in 1973. She later graduated from the University of Southern Illinois with a bachelor of arts degree in 1977.
On June 10, 1981, she married
Gerald Rasmussen in Boulder, Colo.
Mrs. Rasmussen worked as a sales associate with Arnold's Lazy-Boy Home Furnishings in Bremerton.
She was a member of the South Kitsap School Board from 1994 to 1998, the Republican Party of Kitsap County, the Port Orchard Yacht Club and St. Bede's Episcopal Church in Port Orchard.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Benjamin of the family home; a daughter, Natalie of the family home; and a brother, William Allenfort of Brooklyn, N.Y.
A memorial service will be at 2:30 p.m. today at Rill Chapel, with inurnment immediately following at Sunset Lane cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Pendleton-Gilchrist Funeral Home at Rill Chapel.

Lena Andersen
Lifetime Kitsap County resident Lena Eleanor Andersen, 92, died Feb. 8, 1999, at the Washington Veterans Home.
She was born June 15, 1906, in Silverdale to Karl and Fredereicka (Braendlein) Kraft. She was raised and educated in Kitsap County, graduating from Union High School (now Central Kitsap) in 1927. She later graduated from the Bremerton Business College.
On July 20, 1927, she married
Philip Andersen in Bremerton. He preceded her in death in 1980.
Mrs. Andersen was a homemaker.
Survivors include two sons, Raymond and Leonard, both of Bremerton; eight grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Lewis Funeral Chapel. A private interment will be conducted at Forest Lawn cemetery.

Sharron Akins
Sharron Kaye Akins, 59, of Olalla died of natural causes Feb. 1, 1999, at her home.
She was born July 8, 1939, in Lansing, Mich., to Harold and Agnes McCuaig. She attended West Phoenix High School.
Survivors include her companion, John Iverson; a daughter, Sheri Galluci of Nevada; two brothers, Gary and Larry; and a sister, Janice Winguard of Port Orchard.
A memorial service will be at noon today at First Lutheran Church.

Wilma George
Wilma Irene George, 72, of Suquamish died after an extended illness Jan. 30, 1999, at her home.
She was born May 15, 1926, in Prairie Grove, Ark., to Winnie and Jim Mourning. She was raised and educated in Prairie Grove.
On Oct. 10, 1964, she married
Cecil P. George in Winslow.
Mrs. George was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Lewis of Suquamish; a brother, Jim of Springfield, Ill.; three sisters, Marcy Lampe of Tracyton, Betty Dryden of Bonnie Lake and Peggy Ann Hodges of Prairie Grove; and one grandchild, Wanda of Marysville.
A memorial service will be at noon Saturday, Feb. 13, at the Suquamish Tribal Center.

Harry Armstrong
The Rev. Harry L. Armstrong, 85, of Sunnyslope died Feb. 3, 1999, at Harrison Hospital.
He was born Feb. 9, 1913, in Navy Yard City to George and Effie (Flux) Armstrong. He was raised and educated in Bremerton.
On June 27, 1937, he married
Larlie A. Mallette in Aberdeen. She preceded him in death in 1993.
Mr. Armstrong worked at an Aberdeen paper mill for 12 years before returning to Bremerton to work as a shipfitter at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard. He retired in 1978. In 1994, he became an ordained minister with the Conservative Evangelical Association in Bremerton.
He was a member of the Trinity Bible Fellowship.
Survivors include a daughter, Phyllis of Sunnyslope; and two grandchildren, Summer and Danielle Young, both of Sunnyslope.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday at Rill Chapel, with a graveside service at 3 p.m. at Sunset Lane cemetery.

Rosell Milke
Longtime Port Orchard resident Rosell L. Milke, 84, died Feb. 2, 1999, at Harrison Hospital.
She was born Feb. 11, 1914, in Burns, Ore.
Mrs. Milke was a homemaker.
Survivors include a daughter, Lavonne Patnode of Port Orchard; four grandchildren, Cindy Crum and Leslie Skjordal, both of Bremerton, and Tammie Russall and Michele Patnode, both of Port Orchard; and six great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Haven of Rest Chapel, Gig Harbor.
Interment will be at Haven of Rest Memorial Park.
Rose Hatlem
Rose A. Hatlem, 92, of Port Orchard died Feb. 4, 1999.
She was born Jan. 10, 1907, in Minominee, Mich., where she was raised and educated.
On July 31, 1926, she married
Harry E. Hatlem in Minominee.
Mrs. Hatlem worked for Hughes Cleaners for 20 years, and then for Park Avenue Cleaners for 25 years, retiring in 1965.
She was a member of the Lady Eagles of Port Orchard.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Harry Jr. of Belfair and Arthur of San Angelo, Texas; a daughter, Beverly Harris of Port Orchard; three grandchildren, Bobby, Dickie and Brad, all of California; 18 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
No services are scheduled.
