Francis Brazier
Francis C. Brazier, 82, of Silverdale died March 15, 1999.
He was born Aug. 21, 1916, in Staunton, Ill., to Bernard and Lucia (Schumacher) Brazier. He was raised and educated in Stevensville, Mont., graduating from Stevensville High School in 1934.
Mr. Brazier served in the Army. He later worked as a quality control inspector at the Boeing Co.
Survivors include two daughters, Bert Johnson of Poulsbo and Christine McMullen of Seattle. He was preceded in death by his wife, Simone Brazier in 1998.
Arrangements are under the direction of Kass Funeral Home.
Cheryl Brecheen
Cheryl Dianne Brecheen, 47, of Bremerton died March 17, 1999, at Harrison Hospital.
She was born Nov. 7, 1951, in Milledgeville, Ga. She attended Brigham Young University for four years.
She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her mother and father, Catherine and William Broome of Silverdale; a son, James II of Fort Bragg, N.C.; two daughters, Catherine and Kristina, both of Silverdale; and two brothers, William Jr. of Edmonds and Thomas of Portland, Ore.
A private visitation will be conducted.
A funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on Nels Nelson Road in Silverdale.
Arrangements are under the direction of Tuell-McKee Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to the Kidney Dialysis Center of Bremerton.
Cimone Lieseke
Cimone Reneenenes Lieseke, 20, of Tapanga, Calif., died March 11, 1999, in California.
She was born Oct. 11, 1978, in Bremerton.
Survivors include her father and stepmother, Steve Lieseke and Seyneva Newman of Port Orchard; her mother and stepfather, Renae and Mark Gander of California; two stepbrothers, Scott Newman of Bremerton and Corey Newman of Port Orchard; a half-brother, Mika; two stepsisters, Shona Newman of Gorst and Amanda Benavidez of Port Orchard; a half-sister, Joy; and grandparents Ramona and Kendell Lieseke.
Services were conducted in California.
Robert Seaforth
Robert Arthur Seaforth, 78, of Shoreline died March 13, 1999, at the Veterans Hospital in Seattle.
He was born July 6, 1920, in Seattle to Arthur and Isabelle (Torgeson) Seaforth.
He served in the Army during World War II and then worked for the ferry system.
He is survived by a sister, Shirley I. Hudson of Poulsbo.

Betty Olson
Former Belfair resident Betty G. Olson, 66, of McMinnville, Ore., died March 14, 1999, at the Williamette Valley Medical Center in McMinnville.
She was born Oct. 26, 1932, in Glasgow, Mont., to Clarence and May (Pierson) Henningsen. She moved to Belfair in 1940, graduating from South Kitsap High School in 1950.
On Jan. 20, 1956, she married
Rodger E. Olson in Belfair.
Mrs. Olson had worked for the Federal Bureau of Investigation as a stenographer, the Navy, and then the Presbyterian Church in Seattle.
She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in McMinnville.
Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Laura McPherson of San Rafael, Calif., and Nancy Olson of Salem, Ore.; two sisters, Bonnie Jean Boyer of Bremerton and Beverly Ramsey of Chehalis; a brother, William Henningsen of Belfair; a son, Scott of Philomath, Ore.; and four grandchildren.
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. March 20 at the Bethel Baptist Church. Private family interment will be at Evergreen Memorial Park in McMinnville. Arrangements are under the direction of Macy & Son in McMinnville.

Ronald Johnson
Ronald Johnson, 75, of Bainbridge Island died March 15, 1999, at Harrison Memorial Hospital.
He was born Feb. 25, 1924, in Breidablik to Nick and Maren (Olson) Johnson. He was raised in Poulsbo where he graduated from North Kitsap High School in 1942.
On Aug. 1, 1992, he married
Nadine Ey Johnson on Bainbridge Island.
He served in the Navy during World War II, from 1944 to 1946, in the Pacific Theater.
Mr. Johnson worked at Sears in Bremerton for 26 years where he was a service manager and furniture and carpeting salesman, retiring in 1975. He then moved to Marrowstone Island, retiring from Indian Island in 1985.
He was a member of the Elks and Eagles lodges.
Survivors include his wife; four daughters, Judi Wheeler of Monroe, Linda Amdal of Imperial Beach, Calif., Paula Crumb of Federal Way, and Laura Devereaux of Bainbridge Island; two sisters, Audrey Mills and Agnes Matheson, both of Seattle; and six grandchildren, Jeannette Wheeler of Monroe, Edson Wheeler Jr. of Lake Stevens, Ben Amdal of Hansville, Travis and Aaron Crumb, both of Federal Way, and Valerie Devereaux of Bainbridge Island. He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Johnson, in 1989; a brother, Jim Johnson, and a sister, Margaret Harmon.
A private family memorial service will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday at Bethany Lutheran Church on Bainbridge Island. A celebration of his life will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Friday at the Elks Lodge on Pine Road, in Bremerton.
Memorials may be made to a charity of choice.
August Andrews
August Leroy Andrews, 74, of Bremerton died March 14, 1999, in Silverdale.
He was born April 27, 1924, in Springfield, Mo., to Elva Mae (Gott) and August Andrews. He was raised in Springfield, graduating from Springfield High School in 1942. He attended Olympic College.
On June 4, 1948, he married
Betty Jane Dennison in Bremerton.
Mr. Andrews served in the Army from 1943 to 1945 in Normandy, Northern France, Ardennes, Rhineland, and Central Europe. He received the American Theater Service medal, European African Middle Eastern Service medal, Victory medal and Good Conduct medal.
He was a planner and estimator at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard for 33 years, retiring in 1977.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Richard of Kirkland; two daughters, Irene Brehmer of Bremerton and Nancy Andrew-Dienes of Mesa, Ariz.; nine grandchildren, Rich Andrews of Everett, Jerry Andrews of Kirkland, Jeffrey Pitts, Army, Alana Dienes of Huntington Beach, Calif., Greg and Lisa Brehmer, both of Bremerton, Rachel Black of Prairie Grove, Ark., Stephanie Pitts of Bellevue, and John Dienes of Utah; and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Noah Andrews.
Visitation will be at 10 a.m. today at Miller-Woodlawn Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 11:30 a.m. Interment
will be at Forest Lawn cemetery.

Joseph Izzo
Joseph P. Izzo, 66, of Bremerton died March 15, 1999.
He was born Feb. 1, 1933, in Waterbury, Conn., to John and Marcella Izzo.
Mr. Izzo served in the Navy, retiring in 1973. He later worked at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard as a marine machinist, retiring in 1979.
He was a past Northwest Regional President of the Fleet Reserve Association and a life member of Branch 29 in Bremerton. He was also a life member of the Disabled American Veterans, Chapter 5 in Bremerton.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Ellen Izzo; four sons, Joe, Roy, Steve and Bob, all of Waterbury; five stepchildren, Terry Leno of Idaho, Robert Leno of Portland, Ore., Tim Leno of Bremerton, Sharon Robinett of Snohomish and James Leno of Seattle; a sister, Angela Crudell of Daytona Beach, Fla.; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Johnny.
At Mr. Izzo's request, there will be no services.
Arrangements are under the direction of Miller-Woodlawn Funeral Home.
William Blunt Jr.
William Blunt Jr., 73, of Bremerton died March 14, 1999, at his home.
He was born July 19, 1926, in Alexandria, La., to William and Alberta Blunt. He was raised in Alexandria.
Mr. Blunt served in the Navy from 1951 to 1953. He later worked at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard for 24 years, retiring in 1978.
He was a member of the Sinclair Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Bernard of Port Orchard and Larry of Bremerton; a daughter, Katrina Aseltine of Bremerton; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, Ann Carter in 1984.
Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Friday at Miller-Woodlawn Funeral Home. A funeral service will be at 1 p.m. at Sinclair Baptist Church. Interment
will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Miller-Woodlawn Memorial Park.
Lisa Ballard
Lisa Ann Ballard, 43, of Port Orchard died March 14, 1999, at her home.
She was born July 19, 1955, in New Castle, Wyo., to Maurice and Julia (Tamagnine) Rogers. She was raised in Hanover, Ill.
Mrs. Ballard was a manager at McDonald's, retiring in 1998 after 20 years of service.
On Oct. 25, 1975, she married
Lee A. Ballard, in Port Orchard.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Jack and Lee; and three brothers, Rick Rogers of Maryland, and Jim and Barry Rogers of Illinois.
A celebration of her life will be 1 p.m. Saturday at the family home.
