Elizabeth Marker
Elizabeth Marker, 89, of Seattle died April 16, 1999, in Bremerton.
She was born Feb. 23, 1910, in St. Joseph, Mo., to Benjamin and Lola (Smith) Webster. She was raised in St. Joseph.
In 1929, she married Cliffton Marker. He preceded her in death in 1982.
Mrs. Marker was a member of the Daughters of the Nile, the Bridge Club and a bowling league.
Survivors include a son, Don of Port Orchard; a brother, Milton of Kansas City, Mo.; seven grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. She also was preceded in death by a daughter, DeNeece Genther, in 1989.

Timothy Miller
Timothy "Tim" P. Miller, 44, of Lake Tapps died April 24, 1999.
He was born Sept. 17, 1954, in Bremerton to James J. and Georgette (Porgie) Miller. He graduated from Our Lady Star of the Sea School, West High School and Central Washington University.
Mr. Miller worked more than 19 years for the King County parks system and most recently was the president of MITI Power Resources Inc.
Survivors include his parents; his wife, Sandra; a son, Adam; two daughters, Jessica and Sarah; two brothers, James Jr. and Michael; and two sisters, Virginia "Ginger" and Teri.
Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. today at Beck's Funeral Home in Edmonds. Rosary recitation will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, followed by a funeral Mass at 11 a.m., both at St. Andrew Catholic Church, 704 Kincaid Ave., Sumner.
The family suggests memorials be made to the Church Building Fund.

Teri Wittig
Teri Ann Wittig, 41, of Port Orchard died of cancer April 25, 1999, in Bremerton.
She was born May 25, 1957, in Spokane to Richard and Kathleen (Walter) Gumenberg. She was raised in Port Orchard, graduating from South Kitsap High School in 1975. She later attended Olympic College.
She was in the apprenticeship program at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard. Before entering the program, she was employed for more than 10 years with Farmers Insurance in Port Orchard.
Survivors include her parents; a son, Nathan of Port Orchard; a daughter, Nichole of Port Orchard; a brother, Kip Gumenberg of Kent; and three sisters, Mary Eslava, Kim Howarth and Kristin Gumenberg, all of Port Orchard.
Visitation will be from noon to 8 p.m. Thursday at Rill Chapel. A funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday, also at Rill Chapel. Interment icon will follow at 3 p.m. at Sunset Lane cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Education Fund for Surviving Children, Peninsula Federal Credit Union, 1081 Bethel Road, Port Orchard, WA 98366.

Russell Englund
Russell "Russ" O. Englund, 70, of Manchester died of natural causes April 21, 1999, in Manchester.
He was born July 7, 1928, in Yonkers, N.Y. He was raised and educated in South Kitsap.
Mr. Englund served in the Marine Corps in Okinawa, Japan and Hawaii. He later worked with Grinnell Fire Protection as a pipefitter for 33 years, retiring in 1983.
He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Eagles.
He is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday at Rill Chapel. A funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, also at Rill Chapel. A private interment will take place at Sunset Lane cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Pendleton-Gilchrist Funeral Home at Rill Chapel. Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.

James Fargo
The Rev. James J. Fargo, 76, of Port Orchard died April 25, 1999, at Ridgemont Terrace Convalescent Center.
He was born May 5, 1922, in Indianapolis to the Rev. Myron and Nellie (Sisk) Fargo.
On May 28, 1944, he married his wife, Zola, in Vallejo, Calif.
The Rev. Fargo served in the Navy during World War II. Following the war and his graduation from Northwest Nazarene College in Nampa, Idaho, he and his wife pastored churches in California, Oregon, Nebraska and Idaho. After retiring from the ministry, he worked in civil service in Indianapolis and retired from Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, completing 16 years of service.
He was a member of a men's quartet.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, James of Port Orchard and J. Steven of Coppell, Texas; a half-brother, Donald Fargo of Butlerville, Ind.; six grandchildren, Jerilyn Fargo of Coppell, Keith Fargo of Bremerton, David Fargo, Emily Vail, Stephen Vail and Melissa Price, all of Port Orchard; and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by a brother, John.
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Grace Bible Church in Port Orchard. A private inurnment will be at Sunset Lane cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Pendleton-Gilchrist Funeral Home at Rill Chapel.
Memorials may be made to the Grace Bible Church, Music Department, 7070 Bethel Burley Road SE, Port Orchard, WA 98367.

Florence Muller
Former Port Orchard resident Florence Muller, 90, died March 29, 1999, in Spokane.
She was born Oct. 21, 1908, in Thief River Falls, Minn., to Svend and Marie Erwick. She was raised in Port Orchard, graduating from South Kitsap High School in 1928.
Survivors include a daughter, Susan Withey of Spokane; a brother, Stanley of Nampa, Idaho; two sisters, Marian Baker of Kirkland and Gladys Mosser of Bremerton; one grandchild, Ann Marie McElvaine of Burlington, N.J.; and two great-grandchildren.

Harry Sullivan
Harry L. Sullivan, 89, of Port Orchard died April 22, 1999, at Ridgemont Terrace Convalescent Center.
He was born Feb. 15, 1910, in Hillsboro, N.M., to John and Rose (Higgens) Sullivan.
He was raised in Hillsboro and graduated from high school in Truth or Consequences, N.M.
On July 3, 1937, he married Lucille Anaya in Socoro, N.M.
Mr. Sullivan worked as a rigger at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard for 27 years, retiring in 1972. Previous to that, he held a civil service position on Guam.
After retirement, he worked at the Olympic Restaurant in Bremerton and later at a doctor's clinic.
He was a member of St. Gabriel Catholic Church.
In addition to his wife, survivors include a son, Gene of Tacoma; two daughters, Louella Biss of Port Orchard and Ada Price of Gig Harbor; two sisters, Ella Mae Romero of Albuquerque, N.M., and Edith Forsling of Sunny Vale, N.M.; 12 grandchildren, Terrie Kreissler and Cindy Stewart, both of Tacoma, Mark Vanshur and Lisa Hall, both of Port Orchard, Kari Sorenson of Shelton, Chuck Sullivan of the Ukraine, Jeff Price of Florida, Joan Barry of Ollala, Jolene Price of Las Vegas, Debbie Parish of Eugene, Ore., Cyndy Louvier of Indiana and Pam Stuart of Poulsbo; and 27 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at Miller-Woodlawn Chapel with a graveside service to immediately follow at Miller-Woodlawn Memorial Park.

Bruce Wilson
Bruce Evans Wilson, 77, of Indianola died April 18, 1999, in Indianola.
He was born May 2, 1917, in St. Paul, Minn., to Anthony and Florence (Evanson) Wilson.
He was raised and educated in St. Paul and Forest Lake, Minn.
He was graduated from Mechanics Arts High School and received a master's degree in biology from McCalister College in Minnesota.
On Nov. 14, 1942, he married Jane Schroeder in St. Paul. She preceded him in death in 1996.
Mr. Wilson served in the Army during World War II and was stationed in New Orleans.
He taught biology in Minnesota before moving to the Northwest, where he taught biology and history at Garfield High School in Seattle from 1956 to 1965. In 1965, he became vice principal at Cleveland High School in Seattle and remained in that position until he became vice principal at Bellevue High School until his retirement in 1975.
Mr. Wilson was an active Mason, belonging to the Franklin Lodge No. 5 of Port Gamble, Nile Temple AAONMS, Viking Shrine Club of Pouslbo and the Bremerton Elks.
Survivors include two sons, Geoffrey of Lafayette, Colo., and Gregory of Honolulu; and two grandsons, Nick and Erik Wilson of Honolulu.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Anthony's Episcopal Church, 10239 Old Frontier Road NW, Silverdale.
Memorials may be made to St. Anthony's Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 2822, Silverdale, WA 98383.
Arrangements are by Poulsbo Mortuary, The Stone Chapel.

Louisa Jackson
Louisa Jackson, 86, of Poulsbo died April 20, 1999.
She was born Jan. 14, 1913, in Cadishead, England to Mary and Alfred Marsden.
In June 1940, she married John B. Jackson in Cadishead Ward. He preceded her in death in 1989.
Mrs. Jackson moved to Malibou Lake, Calif., in 1950 and then to Poulsbo in 1997.
She was a member of the Malibou Lake Mountain Club of Agoura, Calif., and had been a volunteer in St. John's Ambulance Association in Irlam Brance, England.
When she was born, she received the Insurance Act Souvenir Silver Cup as the first baby born in Cadishead Ward under England's National Insurance Act, which went into effect the day before her birth.
Survivors include a son, Brian Jackson of Poulsbo; a daughter, Joan Foster of Santee, Calif., and four granddaughters.
Inurnment is through Kitsap Cremation and Burial Society.
Letters of thanks may be sent to the staff at Island Health and Rehabilitation Center, 835 Madison Ave. N, Bainbridge Island, WA 98110 and donations may be made to the American Red Cross, 2700 Wilshire Blvd., P.O. Box 57930, Los Angeles, CA, 90057-0930.

Helen Crouch
Helen M. Crouch, 83, of Bremerton died April 21, 1999.
She was raised in Snohomish and married her husband of 64 years, Leonard S. Crouch, there.
She worked as a receptionist for a doctor's office and was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Roger and Dennis; three brothers, Theodore, Victor and Howard Mathison; a sister, Anna Kinch; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
No services are planned.
Remembrances are suggested to the donor's chosen charity.
Inurnment will be at Haven of Rest Memorial Park in Gig Harbor.
