Age 79. 11/26/1922 - 5/27/2002. He was died peacefully at his home on Thursday January 10, 2002 after struggling with an illness for several months. He was 79. Frank retired as a Farmers insurance agent after having a successful practice on Mercer Island. He was active in the Lions Club for over 35 years serving in many positions of leadership including District Governor. Frank was a member of the Nisei Veterans and American Legion. A loving father, he was devoted to his family and community. His family extends thanks and appreciation for the outpouring of support from friends. JAMES A. ROBBINS, born August 4, 1942 at Swedish Hospital in Seattle. He grew up in Blue Ridge and graduated from Ballard High School. He went to Bremerton Community College and graduated with a degree in Business. He worked at his grandfather’s bakery, 'Best Pie' from the time he was 13 years old, and he retired from Gais Bakery at the age of 53. Jim was a member of the Elks for 34 years. He enjoyed gambling, in any form. In his last 3 years of lung cancer, he played the stock market, and as always, 'he was lucky'. Jim was truthful, tough, and a solid man.
