Sylvia M. Edgar
Sylvia M. Edgar, 88, of Yakima died Thursday at Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Edgar was born in Palmer, Neb., and moved to Yakima in 1946. She also lived in Cowiche and worked for the Highland School District for 27 years.
Survivors include two daughters, Donna Balke of Yakima and Jenae Harris of Tieton; six grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday at Shaw and Sons Funeral Directors. The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Shaw and Sons Funeral Directors.

Janet D. Blakely
Janet D. Blakely, 66, of Selah died Tuesday.
Mrs. Blakely was born in Gary, W.Va.
Survivors include her husband, John Blakely; two daughters, Bonnie Andrews and Karen Lair of Yakima; one brother, Russell Reeves of California; and four grandchildren.
Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. today at Terrace Heights Memorial Park.

Ludwig Roller
Ludwig Roller, 82, of Yakima died Wednesday.
Mr. Roller was born in Stark County, N.D., and moved to the Yakima area in 1953. He worked as a maintenance engineer for Central Memorial Hospital in Toppenish.
Survivors include six brothers, Adolf Roller of Yakima, Joe Roller and Nick Roller of Mesa, Ariz., Clifford Roller of North Dakota, Ted Roller of Espanola, N.M., and Robert Roller of Alamogordo, N.M.; three sisters, Rosie DuBord of Fargo, N.D., Cecilia Warner of Glendive, Mont., and Pauline Haagenson of Auburn, Wash.
At his request, there will be no services.

Donna Lee Pratt Kishwalk
Donna Lee Pratt Kishwalk, 58, of Wapato died Wednesday at Yakima Regional Medical and Cardiac Center.
Mrs. Kishwalk was born in Redmond, Ore., and raised in White Swan (Medicine Valley). She worked as a bookkeeper.
Survivors include her husband, Louis Kishwalk of Wapato; three sons, Derek Kishwalk, Eric Kishwalk and Donald Kishwalk of Wapato; two daughters, Jacqueline Kishwalk and Manuella Colwash of Wapato; one brother, Merris Whiz of Wapato; two sisters, Aleatha McConville of White Swan and Sally Suppah of Warm Springs, Ore.; and 12 grandchildren.
Dressing service will be 10 a.m. today at Merritt Funeral Home. Following the dressing service, she will be taken to the family home. Following services at the family home, she will be taken to the Toppenish Creek Longhouse in White Swan for overnight services. Sunrise burial will be Saturday at Yemowit Cemetery in Ahtanum.

Clara Marie Linder
Clara Marie Linder, 96, of Grandview died Thursday in Prosser.
Mrs. Linder was born in Kansas. She worked as a nurse's aide at Prosser Memorial Nursing Home until retiring in 1985.
Survivors include one daughter, Margie Linder of Tacoma; four sons, Junior Linder of Yakima, Ken Linder of Oakhurst, Calif., Del Linder of Tacoma, and Wayne Linder of Sunnyside; 24 grandchildren and numerous great and great-great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday and from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. Tuesday at Smith Funeral Home, Sunnyside. Graveside service will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Sunnyside Cemetery.

Jack Clay Rider
Jack Clay Rider, 89, of Yakima died Thursday at Landmark Care Center.
Mr. Rider was born in Roseville, Ohio, and served in the Army during World War II. He worked 35 years for the Ohio Telephone Co., retiring in 1978. After retiring, he moved to Yakima.
Survivors include his wife, Glenda Rider of Yakima; two sons, Steven Rider of Roseville, Minn., and Craig Rider of Yakima; and two grandchildren.
Viewing will be from noon to 5 p.m. Sunday at Langevin-Mussetter Funeral Home. Graveside service will be at noon Monday at Calvary Cemetery. Those planning to attend should meet at the cemetery.
