Cecil Howard Johnson, 91, of Kennewick died Monday.
Mr. Johnson was born in Payette, Idaho. He lived in the Tri-Cities for about 30 years. Before then, he lived in Yakima.
A graveside service will be 1 p.m. Friday at Terrace Heights Cemetery.

Richard Riggs
Richard Riggs, 52, of Sunnyside died Tuesday at home.
Mr. Riggs was born in Manila, Ark. He joined the Air Force and spent 15 years as a medical services technician.
Survivors include his wife, Susan Riggs of Sunnyside; his mother, Ruby Riggs of Blytheville, Ark.; two sons, Scott Riggs of Blytheville and Billy Berard of Sunnyside; three daughters, Charissa Riggs-Moore of Gosnell, Ark., Chavon Guyer-Covel of Sunnyside and Jennifer Riggs of Greenbrier, Ark.; one brother, Larry Riggs of Yakima; two sisters, Shirley Andrews of Blytheville and Wileen Willis of Winder, Ga.; and 16 grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Chapel of Valley Hills Funeral Home, Sunnyside.

Zeb Harwood
Zeb Harwood, 81, of Yakima died Tuesday.
Mr. Harwood was born in Adams County, N.D., and came to Yakima in 1968. He served in World War II and worked as a watchmaker and jeweler.
Survivors include his wife, Winifred Harwood of Yakima; two daughters, Susan Willing of Port Huron, Mich., and Christine Shirley of Gresham, Ore.; one sister, Joyce McNulty of Port Huron, Mich.; two brothers, Mick Harwood of Menahga, Minn., and Larry Harwood of Yakima; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Keith and Keith Funeral Home.

Verna Marie Weeks, 90, of Yakima died Saturday.
Mrs. Weeks was born in Patchogue, N.Y. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include one son, Lawrence E. Weeks of Kansas City, Mo.; one daughter, Linda M. Thoms of Yakima; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Mildred Ruth Bales
Mildred Ruth Bales, 87, of Naches died Tuesday at Summitview Health Care in Yakima.
Mrs. Bales was born in Dalhart, Texas, and lived in the Yakima Valley for more than 60 years. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, R.C. "Red" Bales of Naches; one son, Marvin Bales of Yakima; two daughters, Peggy Cates of Naches and Marilyn Hoops of Nampa, Idaho; two brothers, Gordon Hagemeier of Caldwell, Idaho, and Art Hagemeier of Othello; one sister, Nelda Carpenter of Zillah; nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Friday at Valley Hills Funeral Home Chapel in Terrace Heights. Memorial service will be 2 p.m. Saturday at West Valley Nazarene Church.

Mary Virginia Splawn, 86, of Yakima died Tuesday at Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Splawn was born in Northport, Wash., and was a long-time Valley resident. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, Homer Splawn of Yakima; one daughter, Sidney Splawn Dolquist; and one son, Erik Splawn.
Memorial service will be 1 p.m. Sunday at St. Michael's Episcopal Church, 5 S. Naches Ave.

Cadence Grace Guier of Selah was stillborn Thursday at Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital.
Survivors include her parents, Justin and Christene Guier of Selah; three brothers, Elijah, Gavin and Brendon, all of Selah; and grandparents Mike and Barb Dorais of Moxee, Trenda Abel of Vancouver, Wash., Bud and Sue Guier of Eatonville, Wash., and Randy and Linda Bechard of Yakima.
No services are scheduled.
