Marjorie Lyle Poteet
Marjorie Lyle Poteet, 85, died Friday at Serenity West Adult Family House in Yakima.
Ms. Poteet was born in Michigan and taught reading at a boy's correctional facility in Cheltenham, Md. She moved to Washington later in life to be near her daughters.
Survivors include her daughters, Toniya Kukulka-Cornelius and Janice Kukulka, both of Yakima; seven grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
A service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Langevin Mussetter Funeral Home. The service will conclude in the chapel. Burial will be at West Hills Memorial Park.

Ralph E. Thompson
Ralph E. Thompson, 82, of Yakima died Saturday.
Mr. Thompson was born in Idaho and lived in Yakima since 1956.
Survivors include his wife, Evelyn Thompson; two sons, Ralph Thompson of Yakima and James Thompson of Bellingham, Wash.; four daughters, Carol Turner of Hickory, N.C., Marlyn Marble of Yakima, Maribeth Martin of Seattle and Diana Frick of Tacoma; one sister, Arlene Levy of Yakima and 13 grandchildren.
A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Westminster Presbyterian Church. Keith and Keith Funeral Home is handling arrangements.

Christine Caroline Cotton
Christine Caroline Cotton, 55, died Sunday at Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Cotton was born and raised in Yakima. She worked as a bartender, most recently at the Ranch Tavern.
Survivors include her companion, Kenneth C. Peck of Yakima; her mother, Elizabeth Feist of Yakima; a daughter, Elizabeth Alejandro of Yakima; two sons, Daniel Cotton and James Cotton of Yakima; a sister, Donna Schroeder of Tacoma; and four grandchildren.
A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Calvary Cemetery.
Langevin-Mussetter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Tommy Abara Dandin
Tommy Abara Dandin, 94, of Union Gap died Monday in Yakima.
Mr. Dandin was born in Santa Maria, Ilocos Sur, Philippines, and immigrated to the Hawaiian Islands at age 17. A year later he came to the mainland. He served in the Coast Guard during World War II and later worked as a farm laborer in Wapato for many years. In 1960 he moved to Yakima.
Survivors include a son, Joseph Dandin of Las Vegas, Nev.; three daughters, Nina Quemuel, Frances Powers and Betty Ann Tabayoyon, all of Yakima; 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Monday at Shaw and Sons Funeral Directors. Tribute service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Shaw and Sons. Burial and concluding services will be at Tahoma Cemetery.

Keith D. Fahey
Keith D. Fahey, 35, of Ellensburg died Jan. 6 at home.
Mr. Fahey was born in Sacramento, Calif., where he was adopted and raised. He came to Ellensburg three years ago after being reunited with his birth mother and her family. He worked in a variety of maintenance jobs locally.
Survivors include his parents, Skip and Nancy Fleming of Ellensburg; his adoptive mother, Louise Mishler; two brothers, Jessee of Ellensburg and Karl of Sacramento, Calif.; and his grandparents.
Memorial celebration of life will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Moose Lodge, 206 North Main, Ellensburg, with a reception following.

Rochelle M. Harritt
Rochelle M. Harritt, 50, of Yakima died Friday.
Ms. Harritt was born in Newport, R.I., and grew up in the San Diego area. She worked for a time in the food service industry through Job Corp.
Survivors include two sisters, Jan and Michelle, and four children.
Funeral Mass will be held at a later date.
