Michael 'Mike' Angelo Oleson
Michael "Mike" Angelo Oleson, 79, of Yakima died Tuesday at Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Oleson was born in Pendleton, Ore., and moved to Yakima as a child. He worked at Prentice Packing before serving in the Navy during World War II. After the war he returned to Yakima and again went to work for Prentice Packing. He later went to Yakima Manufacturing and worked there for 32 years.
Survivors include his wife, Arline Oleson of Yakima; one daughter, Susan Hubbard of Dayton, Wash.; one sister, Loretta Bowling of Colville, Wash.; and two grandchildren.
Viewing will be from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday at Shaw and Sons Funeral Directors. Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Terrace Heights Memorial Park.

Theo Frances Richardson
Theo Frances Richardson, 89, of Naches died Tuesday.
Mrs. Richardson was born in Rantoul, Kan.
Survivors include her daughter, Patricia Marinelli; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside service will be 1 p.m. Saturday at West Hills Memorial Park.
Arrangements are under the direction of Keith and Keith Funeral Home.

Tomas Alan Tucker
Tomas Alan Tucker, 67, of Yakima died Wednesday.
Mr. Tucker was born in Portland and moved to the Yakima Valley 20 years ago.
Survivors include his companion, Jane L. Sutherland; four daughters, Patsy Brown, Sherry Ramirez, Annette Brown, and Monica Mills; two sons, Christopher Gaul and Nathan Tucker; 15 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Cremation has taken place. At his request, there will be no services.
Shaw and Sons Funeral Directors is in charge of the arrangements.

Ferdinand Fred Vollmer
Ferdinand Fred Vollmer, 70, of Grandview died Wednesday at home.
Mr. Vollmer was born in Nisland, S.D., and served in the U.S. Army. He was retired from Roza Irrigation.
Survivors include his wife, Louise Vollmer of Grandview; three brothers, Albert Vollmer of Grand Coulee, Wash., Carl Vollmer of Mabton and Ruben Vollmer of Salem, Ore.; and two sisters, Clara Kirk of Wenatchee and Martha Neugebauer of Spokane.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Smith Funeral Home, Sunnyside. Burial will be in the Lower Valley Memorial Gardens.

Christopher Thomas Schaub
Christopher Thomas Schaub, 17, of Yakima died Saturday at Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Schaub was born in Ellensburg and graduated from West Valley High School in June. He worked as a lifeguard for the city of Yakima.
Survivors include his parents, Tom and Vicki Schaub of Yakima; one sister, Casey Schaub; and one grandfather, David Schaub of Culver City, Calif.
Viewing is 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Langevin-Mussetter Funeral Home. Vigil service will be at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the same location. Mass of Christian burial will be at noon Thursday at Holy Family Catholic Church, and burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.

Shelly Warren
Shelly Warren, 39, of St. Andrews, Scotland, died June 29.
She was born in Yakima and graduated from Davis High School and Reed College in Portland.
Survivors include her husband, Carl Warren of St. Andrews; her mother, Cora Reynolds of Union Gap; three sisters, Marcelyn Reynolds of Union Gap, Bev McCollum of Yakima and Lola Church of Moxee; and a half-brother, Larry Reynolds of Cheyenne, Wyo.
Services are pending.

Reuben Dieterle
Former Sunnyside resident Reuben Dieterle, 99, of Glendale, Ariz., died Wednesday in Glendale.
He was born in Skogmo, N.D., and farmed on the family homestead and in Drake, N.D., until 1943. He spent the next decade working for Eickhorn Implement Co., then moved to Sunnyside, Peoria, Ill., and Glendale.
Survivors include three children, Allan Dieterle of Arizona, Delven Dieterle of Washington and Geraldine Rothenburer of Illinois; two brothers, Dave Dieterle of Velva, N.D., and Henry Dieterle of Bismark, N.D.; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Monday at Smith Funeral Home in Sunnyside. The funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday at the Calvary Lutheran Church in Sunnyside. Burial will be at Lower Valley Memorial Gardens.
Smith Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
