Dolores B. Bruns, 71, of Yakima died Thursday at her home.
She was born in Niobrara, Neb., and worked for the Yakima Valley Credit Union for 13 years, retiring in 2001.
Survivors include three children, Darcy Bruns of Yakima, Wendell Bruns of Poulsbo, Wash., and Valerie Voris of Marysville, Wash.; a sister, Darene Ziegler of Yakima; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday and 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at Langevin-Mussetter Funeral Home. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Langevin-Mussetter. Burial will follow at Tahoma Cemetery.

Nina R. Bolen
Nina R. Bolen, 62, of Yakima died Friday at Heritage Grove in Yakima.
She was born in Bishop, Calif., and worked for Farmer Pete Nursery as a garden specialist and cashier.
Survivors include her husband, Earl Bolen of Yakima; a daughter, Ruth Berrell of Yakima; three sisters, Silvia Fink of Spokane, and Norma Burnham and Linda Dobson, both of Ellensburg; five brothers, Norse Dobson of Tacoma, Dale Dobson of Phoenix, Wayne Dobson of Moses Lake, Don Dobson of Spanaway, Wash., and Clifford Dobson of Ellensburg; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Viewing will be from 1 to 5 p.m. Monday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday and 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at Valley Hills Funeral Home. Graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at West Hills Memorial Park.

Raul 'Rudy' Gonzales
Raul "Rudy" Gonzales, 59, of Yakima died Sunday.
Mr. Gonzales was born in Corpus Christi, Texas, and had lived in Texas, Florida and Indio, Calif. He was employed as a field foreman in orchards.
Survivors include his partner, Arlene Miller of Yakima; three sons, Geremy Miller and Nicolas Miller of Yakima and Eddie Gonzales of Indio, Calif.; two daughters, Rhonda Murphy of Yakima and Gracie Gonzales Villarreal of Del Rio Mission, Texas; two sisters, Linda Gonzales and Katie Gonzales of California; one brother, Pete Gonzales; and six grandchildren.
Services are pending.

YAKIMA - W. Ronald "Ron" Jenkins, age 92, of Yakima, died January 4, 2004 at Renaissance Care Center. Ron was born August 17, 1911 in Yakima where he has been a lifetime resident.
Ron attended Yakima Senior High School and graduated in 1931. He later met and married his wife, Dorothy and had been married for 55 years. Ron worked for City Peerless and Crest Company for twenty-six years; Dorothy worked for Sea First Bank for thirty-nine years. They had three boys.
Ron's past hobbies included fishing and dancing. He was a longtime active member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church; was a charter member of the West Valley Lions Club and had been involved with Toastmasters of Yakima.
He leaves his wife, Dorothy, at home; son, Robert Andrew Jenkins, Chehalis; and a sister, Betty Heinl, of Portland, Ore. He was preceded in death by two sons, Ronald F. Jenkins and Rodney Jenkins; brothers, Tom Jenkins and Frederick Jenkins.
Graveside Services will be held at 11:30 AM, Saturday, January 10, 2003 at Terrace Heights Memorial Park. Memorial Services will follow at 12 Noon at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 801 Tieton Drive, Yakima. Visitation will be Thursday and Friday from 4-8 PM at Keith and Keith Funeral Home on Ninth Avenue. Memorial contributions are suggested to Bethlehem Lutheran Church.

Marian O. Edwards
YAKIMA - Marian O. Edwards, 86, of Yakima, was called home to be with her Lord and family January 3, 2004.
Marian was born September 4, 1917, in Ft. Macleod, Alberta, Canada. She was the sixth of seven children born to Harry and Sophia (St. George) Herring. She became a naturalized U.S. citizen February 15, 1945. Marian married her longtime sweetheart and friend, Edmund C. Edwards of Dayton Oregon, January 24, 1946. They moved to the Yakima Valley shortly thereafter to be near other family members.
Marian was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church of Yakima. She was dedicated to her family and friends. In addition to her unconditional love for her family, she is most remembered for her keen sense of humor, quick wit, warm smile and a genuine love for life.
Marian worked at the Freer Trophy House as an assembler for twenty plus years. She also was a fruit sorter for the C.M. Holtzinger Fruit Company, until she retired in 1977. She enjoyed going to the Yakima Senior Center. She was an avid sports enthusiast, and enjoyed bowling, playing tennis and pool.
Marian is survived by her children and their spouses: Thomas and Lanee' Edwards of Tualatin, OR, Sharlene and Wayne Haney of Eugene, OR and Debra and Frans Wood of Yakima; three grandchildren, Stacy Games, Joshua Wood and Jenell Wood; three great-grandchildren, Jerica Games-Conway, Alexis Games-Conway and Naomi Wood; a sister, Gladys Sisson of Grand Island, NE, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Edmund Edwards on August 7, 1958; brothers, Harry and Ted Herring; and sisters, Florence Boisselle, Elsie Roy and Eleanor Roy-Baker.
We will miss her, but take comfort in knowing that she is in Heaven with the Lord and her departed loved ones.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 10, 2004, at the First Baptist Church of Yakima, 515 East Yakima Avenue. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Yakima, or to the charity of your choice.

Moriah Nicola Scott
COLVILLE, WA - Moriah Nicola Scott, 13, of Yakima, passed away Saturday, January 3, 2004, while visiting in Colville, Washington.
Moriah was born June 25, 1990, in Yakima, to Michael and Tammy (Bernath) Scott. She was raised and educated in Yakima and was a student at West Valley Middle School. She touched everyone with her incredible smile, sense of humor and her gentle and giving spirit. She especially loved animals and was planning on being a veterinarian. She was very artistic and loved to draw, she enjoyed music, movies, the telephone, swimming, the outdoors and sledding. She also loved to tease and make others laugh.
Survivors include her parents, Michael and Tammy Scott, of Yakima; her brothers and sisters, Stanley "Stosh" Kotlarz and his fiancée, Briauna Whittlesey, Nancy Kotlarz and Cathrine Kotlarz, all of Yakima, Kami Jernigan and her husband Keith of Arlington, Kayla Callan of Granite Falls, Matthew Scott of Yakima and Justin Hartfield, serving with the U.S. Army at Fort Lewis; her grandparents, Claudia Urquhart of Colville, Ronald Scott of Colorado and Bob Bernath of Yakima; her close friend, Colton Fiedler of Yakima; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.
Moriah was preceded in death by her grandmother, Betty (Akins) Bernath; great grandparents, Stan and Mary Bernath, Mona Beegle, and Fletcher and Audie Scott.
Viewing will be from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, January 8, 2004, at Langevin-Mussetter Funeral Home. Memorial services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 10, 2004, in the Chapel of Holy Family Catholic Church, 5315 Tieton Drive, Yakima. Inurnment will be at Terrace Heights Memorial Park at a later date.
