Elisha Jerry Kasiah Brooks
Let the little children come to me; do not stop them; for it is to such as these that the kingdom of God belongs. ~ Mark 10:14
Elisha Jerry Kasiah Brooks, 7, of Yakima passed away on December 18, 2010 at Children’s Hospital in Seattle. She was born November 21, 2003 in Lincoln, Nebraska to Jeffrey Brooks and Terri Boggs.
Elisha attended 1st grade at Hoover Elementary where she was dearly loved by everyone. Elisha deeply loved all her family and friends, and having family and friends around her brought much happiness.
Elisha’s favorite television shows were I-Carly and Hannah Montana. Elisha loved to play “kitchen” with her play kitchen set. Helping her mom cook was a great joy to Elisha and always said she wanted to be a chef. Elisha was a wonderful and special child that loved the Lord. Elisha always spoke her mind and was extremely honest, never had a problem letting you know how she felt. Playing, helping others, doing crafts, cooking, learning about Jesus and being surrounded by family and friends were the dearest things to Elisha.
Elisha’s favorite thing was going to the movies with her daddy. Elisha had one of the greatest times ever when she went to Disneyland last month, and so many fond memories were made with family. Elisha was such a happy, kind, loving, and beautiful child. She was so precious to all of us, especially to her daddy and mommy.
Elisha taught us so much about life and love.
My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. ~John 15:12

If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you profess your faith and are saved. ~Romans 10:9-10
