Angela Kay (Davenport) Huff
May 6, 1967 – Dec. 26, 2008
Angie’s will to live and the love of her family was so strong that she was there, with her whole heart, to celebrate Christmas with all of them, and passed away the following day at Memorial Hospital.
Angie was joyfully, and with so much love, welcomed into this world on May 6, 1967. She grew up in Gleed, WA and attended Lower Naches Grade School, and graduated from Naches High School in 1985. She had numerous jobs that included Jordan Drug, Garretson Warehouse and Save On Foods.
Angie was the mother of an amazing and beautiful daughter, Breanne Partlow. During Angie’s second round of chemo, thirteen years ago, she was told it would be a miracle if she ever had more children, that miracle is Travis Huff, her son.
Angie was a remarkable, giving and strong willed young lady. She was a friend to all, and we are all so fortunate that our lives were touched by her. She gave hope to everyone, even when there was none to give. Angie had a remarkable love of animals of all kinds. She brought home numerous ones, and animals no one else wanted. She loved her horse, Shasta. It was as if they were “soul” mates. No one could ride her but Angie. She always carried peppermints in her pocket to give Shasta for treats. She loved all of the trips she took with friends to the back-country.
Angie was preceded in death by her grandmother, Idess Stewart and her grandfather, Rue Davenport. She is survived by her parents, Gary and Darlene Davenport of Gleed, WA; her children, Breanne Partlow and Travis Huff of Gleed, WA; grandparents, Frankie Seay of Yakima and Bill Stewart of Gleed; her extended family and many good friends.
Graveside Funeral Services will be held Wed., Dec. 31 at 11 a.m. at Tahoma Cemetery.
“We hold our children’s hand for a little while, their hearts forever.”
“Across the years I will walk with you, in deep green forests; on shores of sand, and when our time on Earth is through, in heaven too, you will find my hand.”
