Michael Lee Davis
Michael Lee Davis, 56 of Yakima, went to be with his Lord on Sunday, Dec. 21, 2008 He was born in Yakima July 28, 1952.
Mike was a loving father, son and brother. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his mother, Donna Strange; a daughter, Michelle Rae Davis; two brothers, Raymond and Billy Davis; a sister, Michelle Davis; a step-brother, Robert Layman and two step-sisters, Teresa Lester and Deborah Byrne.
At his request, no services will be held.
Ruth Marie Blaine
UNION GAP – Ruth Marie Blaine, 73, of Union Gap passed away Sunday, Dec. 21, 2008 at home surrounded by her loving family.
Ruth was born Oct. 26, 1935 in Moxee to William S. & Florence Terry. She attended and graduated from Yakima High School. She was a homemaker and mother and enjoyed her work. She was a loving mother, grandmother and caring friend. Ruth was glad to help anyone in need. She loved Christmas time and family gatherings. She was also a foster mother to both foster children and the friends of her children.
She is survived by her loving lifelong companion, Dean Neuleib of Yakima; two sons, Bill Brasker of Richland and Don Brasker ofd Yakima; three daughters, Mary Brasker of Union Gap, Carol Grass of Yakim and Carolyn Bradley of Moxee; 10 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be Friday, Dec. 26 from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Yakima Chapel of Valley Hills Funeral Home. Graveside Funeral Services will be held Friday, Dec. 26 at 2 p.m. at Tahoma Cemetery.
Robert C. Blackburn Jr.
Robert C. Blackburn Jr., 81, of Yakima died Thursday, February 27, 2009 in Union Gap.
Mr. Blackburn was born in Minden, Neb. He was a truck driver.
Survivors include his wife, Florence Blackburn of Yakima; a son, Jody Blackburn of Zillah; three daughters, Jennifer Lynn Underwood of Prosser, Susan Pearson of Granger and Lauretta Halverson of Packwood; two brothers, Delbert Blackburn of Aumsville, Ore, and Frank Blackburn of Great Falls, Mont.; a sister, Louise Warner of Albany, Ore.; nine grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
At his request, there will be no services.
Valley Hills Funeral Home and Crematory in Yakima is in charge of arrangements.
Douglas Ray Roberts
Douglas Ray Roberts, 82, of Toppenish died Monday, February 23, 2009.
Mr. Roberts was born in Panguitch, Utah. He working in mining in his younger years.
Survivors include a brother, Wallace Roberts of Circleville, Utah.
No funeral has been planned at this time.

Moira Jean Milbredt
Moira Jean Milbredt, 75, of Yakima died Saturday, Dec. 20, 2008 at Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital.
She was born in Surrey, England. She was active in the fashion industry as a young woman. She was also a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, Frederick Milbredt of Yakima; her mother, Elsie Bungard of England; two daughters, Samantha Milbredt of Yakima and Leslie Milbredt of Phoenix; one brother, John Bungard; and one sister, Linda Britwell, both of England.
Private family services will be held.

San Juana R. Bernal
MABTON - San Juana R. Bernal, 79, of Mabton has gone to our Lord on December 20, 2008.
San Juana was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved her gardening and kept canning her vegetables and fruits. She loved to joke around with her children and grandchildren.
San Juana is survived by her husband of 55 years, Manuel B. Bernal of Mabton and their 10 children; daughters, Raquel B. Hogue, and spouse, Walter Hogue, of Pasco, WA, Petra Palladares, and spouse, Antonio, of Bakersfield, CA, Delia Garza of Pasco, WA, Norma B. Cortez, and spouse Alberto Cortez of Yakima, WA, Nora B. Escobar, and spouse, Rudy of Yakima, WA, Sofia B. Morales of San Diego, CA, Delia B. Garza of Pasco, WA, sons; Manuel Bernal Jr., of Othello, WA, Ricardo Bernal, and spouse, Maggie, of Sunnyside, Carlos Bernal of Texas, Matt Bernal, and spouse, Jenny, of Mabton, WA, a sister; Esperanza Martinez, of Othello, WA,28 grandchildren, and 61 great grandchildren.
There will be a Rosary service for San Juana on Tuesday, December 23, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Granger. A funeral service will follow immediately at 11:00 a.m. also at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Granger.
Marie "Angie" Kormil
YAKIMA - Mom kept waiting to see the heavens above. But, GOD kept saying your job here isn't done!! Then on December 19, 2008 her prayers finally came true. Born November 15, 1921 in Buena Heights, age 87, she is survived by two daughters, Karen Kull (Pete) of Yakima, Margaret Deccio (Dave) of Moxee, four grandchildren, Shannon Kull, Riley Kull, Darin (Cindy) Deccio, Bridget Deccio, two great grandchildren, McCall Deccio and Royal Jones, and niece Judy (Donald) Markham. (Thank you Judy.) She was preceded in death by her husband Riley Kormil, and sister Ellen Rice.
There will be a private gathering Dec. 26th at 1 p.m. at the Terrace Heights Mausoleum.
Cecelia Kathleen "Kathy" Jenkins
Cecelia Kathleen "Kathy" Jenkins, 76, of Selah died Friday, Dec. 19, 2008.
She was born in Spokane. She worked in hospitals on the coast and in various nursing homes in Yakima, and was the charge nurse at Valley Osteopathic Hospital.
Survivors include her husband, Nathan "Ev" Jenkins of Selah; two sons, Gene Jenkins of Selah and Edward Glen Jenkins of Florida; two daughters, Lindy Sheehan of Seattle and Suzy Moran of Lynnwood, Wash.; one sister, Donna Bruyer of Spokane; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
The graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 27 at Wenas Cemetery, 11404 N. Wenas Road in Selah.
