James Samuel Anderson
James Samuel Anderson, 65, of Yakima died Friday at Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Anderson was born in Kalispell, Mont. He served in the Air Force and worked for Union Local 66 in construction. He lived in Yakima for 60 years.
Survivors include his wife, Hollie Anderson of Yakima; two daughters, Danielle Koss of Ellensburg and Michelle Anderson of Yakima; a brother, Roy Anderson of Yakima; a sister, Leora Travis of Bellingham, Wash.; and two grandchildren.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Yakima Chapel of Valley Hills Funeral Home.

Kenneth Brumbaugh
Kenneth Brumbaugh, 91, of Sunnyside, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2007 at Sunnyside Community Hospital.
Kenneth was born in Ottawa County, OK. He lived and farmed in Sunnyside for many years.
Survivors include his wife, Maxine Brumbaugh of Sunnyside; a son, Billy Burm of Mesa, AZ; two daughters, Shirley Barber of Maricopa, AZ and Josephine Finch of Grandview, WA; 6 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Visitition will be held Friday, Dec. 21, 2007 from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the Sunnysie Chapel of Valley Hills Funeral Home. Graveside Funeral Services will be held Saturday, Dec. 22, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at Lower Valley Memorial Gardens under the diretion of Valley Hills Funeral Home.
Oscar Dee Riggle (Dee)
YAKIMA - Oscar Dee Riggle (Dee) was born on September 6, 1923 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma to Dallas Alexander Riggle and Jewel Sarah Dillingham. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Opal Jo, and by his wife Ethel.
Dee grew up in Oklahoma, Texas and Colorado. In his teen years he lived in California and Yakima, Washington. Dee married Ethel Young in Yakima on his 21st birthday. He worked as an orchard manager for several companies. He loved to hunt and fish. His CB handle was Bear Track.
Dee is survived by two sons, Gary (Connie) Riggle of Yakima and Larry (Bonnie) Riggle of Cowiche; five grandchildren, Teresa (Kevin) Martin of Yakima, Heath Riggle of Cowiche, Chad (Heather) Riggle of Yakima and Tyler and Casey Riggle of Yakima and five great grandchildren, Cameron, Carston and Carlee Martin and Caitlin and Cassady Riggle.
Viewing will be today from 10:00 until 7:00 at the Yakima Chapel of Valley Hills Funeral Home. Graveside services will be at 1:00 P.M. on Friday December 21, 2007 at the Naches Cemetery in Naches, Washington.
Elizabeth Virginia Bates
Elizabeth Virginia Bates, 91, of Stanwood, Wash., formerly of Sunnyside, died Monday.
Mrs. Bates was born in Floyd, Va. She was a a hairdresser.
Survivors include three daughters, Marge Stidham of Camano Island, Wash., Mary Lynne Aldrich of Santa Fe, N.M., and Rudi Francis of St. George, Utah; three sisters, Carol Ann Lukkes of Selah, Billie McDaniels of Yakima and Martha McIntosh of Simi Valley, Calif.; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.

Margaret Pepin
Margaret Pepin, 94, of Yakima died Saturday, December 15, 2007 at Crescent Health Care.
Mrs. Pepin was born in Gladstone, N.D. She worked as a cook in restaurants and private homes and as a caregiver for children in Chicago. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include a son, Dale Pepin of Yakima; and a sister, Anne Wenko of Dickinson, N.D.
At Mrs. Pepin's request, there will be no services.

Joe Alfred Waterman
Joe Alfred Waterman, 84, of Sunnyside died Thursday, Dec. 13, 2007 at Yakima Regional Medical and Cardiac Center.
Mr. Waterman was born in Decaturville, Mo. He was a small-business owner and was involved in many different businesses.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret Louise Waterman of Sunnyside; three sons, Gary Joe Waterman of Kent, Wash., Albert Francis Waterman of Grandview and Joey Ray Waterman of Sunnyside; four daughters, Shirley Mae Smith of Edgewood, Wash., Rhonda Marie Middleton of Granger, Gayla Lee Prummer of Renton, Wash., and Marcella Louise Waterman of Morgantown, W. Va.; 20 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 2:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday at Sunnyside Chapel of Valley Hills Funeral Home. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Valley Hills Funeral Home Chapel, Sunnyside. Burial is in Lower Valley Memorial Gardens.

Colleen Yvonne Crouse
Colleen Yvonne Crouse, 71, of Yakima died Friday, Dec. 14, 2007.
Ms. Crouse was born and raised in Yakima. She worked as a card dealer in Lake Tahoe before returning to Yakima in 1993.
Survivors include her husband, Floyd Crouse of Yakima; two sons, Frank Crouse of Yakima and Stacey Crouse of Carson City, Nev.; a brother, Jack Morris; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
There will be no services per Ms. Crouse's request.
